Like trash from heaven

One of the tenants at the Church of The Ascension on Linwood next door can't seen to get when garbage day is. There is always so much random trash that ends up on our lawn. For some reason this week, they put this couch out the day after garbage pickup and now the couch cushion ended up on our lawn.

It will probably end up sitting out there for a week looking trashy and they won't get a fine because it's a church. I think they should have to adhere to the same rules as everyone else.

Someone must have literally exploded in the Premiere bathroom On
deleware in kennore. It is as gross as the bathroom at the pink.

Raving in the 90s

The day after going dancing at 1:30am at Faso's Greatful Bear and Grill in Lackawanna with (e:terry) the other night, I was reading some people's jourals on purerave.com that had attended the same event. The website is pretty neat. It basically has event listings and profiles and then people say if they are attending, did attend etc. Then it links the events to the profiles. The users have galleries and journals and can review/post events. The only thing I really don't like is the adverts all over the place but I gues sthat is normal on the internet heutzutage.

Busy, busy

I know I always say this, but I am right on the edge of having the new estrip done. I will have to do some more testing and optimization. The only things I have left are the new mobile site, the avatar upload, and the preferences pane.

I missed like 15 dancing opportunities this weekend because I am lame. Tonight we are having a vegetarian dinner party. I am nervous about the tasty value in that.

Choco logo

We went on the Roswell paintbox project choco logo factory tour and
wine and chocolate tasting fund raiser with Robert and James. We
tasted so much delcious chocolate. I would suggest checking out their
shop on broadway and elm.

No umpa loompas though. I had a hard time not jumping in like
Augustus Glum.

Flight 3407

Wow, nothing makes the thought of riding in a plane scarier than a commuter plane hitting a local house and everyone dying. Its the same type of plane we take all the time from NYC.

The news on TV is so super lame they just keep saying the same thing over and over. On youtube I found an interview with some local youths that were right at the scene.

I wonder if I will know anyone who was on the flight.

On the news they said it really took out just one house. Imagine if your house was hit by a plane. One person in the house died.

I love oysters

We went to Black and Blue agsint for my mother's birthday.

I had the lump crapmeat again. There is nothing like a large quantity
of crabmeat without the effort of wrestling them from the shell.

For an appetizer i had oystetd. These ones came with fish roe that
was mixed with wasabi powder.

The ones labeled alpine cove were especially delicious.

Afterwards, we went to my mothers and ate delicious pastries rom Premier and Dolci that my brother picked up.

The other day, when at the McKinley mall I noticed that their lounge/sitting area was distinctly Frank Lloyd Wright style. My brother would not believe me when I told him, so here are the pic - you decide.

First check out the ceiling pattern and colors, openess and natural lighting.

They had snow shoe attachments for your sneakers at the mall. Has anyone used these before. Its like snow tires for your sneakers.

My stomahc is getting buffer with 100 situps a day routine. I am also only like 2 lbs away from my target weight of 160.

Shopping Tip: Organic vanilla beans are cheaper than the conventional ones in the wegman's natures market place area.

While there you can also get a 5lb bag of 16-20 count wild caught shrimp for $50. That's only $9.99/lb.

I wore it all the time and in the end the springs came off and as I was walking in my department's corridor, one of the springs got stuck in the carpet fabric and unravelled a whole line of carpet without my realizing. I could never play down that incident because the unravelled line lead directly from the stairs to my office! People pointed at it for a whole year and the stories became wilder and wilder. I think the last time I heard it - people were talking about how I had swapped desks with a grad student from another program and had dragged it all the way up the stairs and tore the carpet!! (I did swap a desk with someone, but come on!)

PS: The other grad student had a pink and white desk and hated the fact that it was too feminine. I traded my brown and black desk. Hehehe Man. I miss it!
