Dirty attic, dirty mouth
The attic was so fucking disgusting from the roof tear off. I wish I
had put down drop clothes so bad but I didn't so I spent some serious
time sweeping and vacumming.
My friend Robert said it would be bad but I guess I just didn't
understand how bad. Maybe these pictures will help someone else
getting a roof tear off job prepare better.
I wore my pro gas mask which usually works but I forgot to shave
first. I figured how bad could it be. Well, it was pretty bad. Look
what happens to my teeth and lungs. Even the hangy think in my throat
was black. Its especially fun because its not just wood and dirt
dust, there is also a bunch of fiberglass from the insulation. I can
only imagine how black my lungs are now. Not to mention that my
allergies skyrocketed. I am sensing it might be a soir du benedryl.

At the dentist
I am over at advantage dentistry on elmwood where I got xrays and
found I have no cavities. They actually take my insurance and there
was no copayment unlike the last two dentists which made me pay up
front and submit the bill later for reimbursement.
Don't you think that this dental care advertisement with the white
haired woman would have been much better with the pamphlet holder on
the right side so that you could see her face and especially her teeth?

Naples roofing is awesome
At first I was nervous because they gave us the lowest bid but the
workers were great, cleaned up, and were really friendly.
They fixed the two minor mistakes today. I went up there with them
and the one dude was actually running up and down from the top to the
gutters and back. Then he ran out and was sitting on a dormer. I was
jealous of his bravery a bit, although the other roofers agreed our
roof was especially scary. As the one put it, it wouldn't be a trip
to the hospital but a trip to the morgue.
Next I need to reshingle some and paint...

The new roof
It's looks pretty good - at least from the ground. I am excited to
paint the house brown to match. The blue and pink looks do bad now
but it will look great in brown.
They did the flat top last night in the dark and that part is pretty
blah. It didn't get a tearoff on top, so Terry and I's old roof job
is underneith and the flashing is pretty horrible on the chimney
including this one spot which is just open to the sky. Ironically,
it's over the very same spot that leaked and had us call the roofers
in the first place.
We didn't finish paying them yet, so hopefully they will fix it.

Bees eat frosting
roadkill pics, someone left a cake. On Monday it was almost a whole
cake with frosting and bees in the box. The bees ate most of the
frosting and now it's frostingless.

Happy birthday mike
It's really the 31st but we celebrated (e:mike)'s birthday tonight at my
parents. The food was delicous, a combination of orange and lemon
stuffed chicken and fried shrimp. Tomorrow night we celebrate with

Benedryl Dreams
I told some of you about the one where orprah got exposed for having slaves so as repayment a judge sentenced bunch of hippies to decend on her ranch ( I think this was inspired by the woodstock movie commercial). Turned out it was the one where she kept the treasured set of star gate ( a show I never watched) and for some reason I was the computer tech coordinating it all.
I overhead the hippy oganizerss saying they were going to bleach the costumes - needless to say oprah went totally mad and they had to tie her down.
Last nights dream was even crazier and I ended up trying crack that (e:jason) brought to some part in my dreams. Sorry (e:jason) I have no idea what in my subconscious associated you and crack but damn it was some powerful stuff. Everytime you smoked it, it made sparked and smoked and mini nuclear fallout clouds over the pipe.

Seilent Exchange Tommorow
Rain or Shine, this will be unforgettable!
Blog : For updates, news, previews info..
Electronic Music + Art Day Festival August 29th Buffalo, NY
What is Silent Exchange?
Silent Exchange will be an all day open air electronic music + art event taking place on August 29, 2009 from noon-10pm with five DJ's that have tickled dance floors all over the world, with local performance artist and other artist work up and around in a one day installation. You will not be disappointed!.
Why Silent Exchange?
After living in NYC and Berlin for the past four and a half years, I returned to Buffalo, NY, only to find a commercial side of the electronic music scene. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
My plan - the Silent Exchange concept - is meant to focus on what is missing: the simplistic, low key, underground, and more accessible side of the music and art scene. Buffalo does do a great job in introducing people to the mainstream sound but Silent Exchange will open the door to a new experience - to an encounter with unconventional and unexplored surroundings where people can have direct access, and a unique connection with the music and art around them.
What Silent Exchange wants is for art to show its true face - inspiring, dirty, raw all simultaneously. Artists can freely manifest their sound in an artistic and unpretentious environment, where their techniques and interpretation aren't bound to any commerical expectations. International, as well as up and coming talents, will bring their edge and unfiltered sound to Silent Exchange, and artists will have the opportunity to display their work in one day exhibitions - with the perpetual message in mind: "actions speak louder than words."
It doesn't matter where we are all from, which backgrounds, interests, worlds we belong to - this is a connection between the people and music + art. Words are not needed for the exchange that takes place on a dancefloor. The smiles, the winks, the hugs, the kisses between strangers - all these create the vibe.
Where is Silent Exchange?
Silent Exchange Electronic Music + Art event will team up with Rock Harbor Commons Village "The Yard" for the debut. his space is in the backyard of the warehouse buildings. What they are beginning to build atRock Harbor is a new ecologically friendly and safe student environment that will incorporate a blending of art, history, nature, and social activies. The village will soon house 300 students in the first phase along with plans for a caf , student entrepreneurial offices, food court, fitness center, game/recreational room, big screen TVs, 24-hour security, Wi-Fi, monitored private parking, and eco-friendly shuttle buses. August 2010 marks the beginning of a remarkable future for Rock Harbor and the Black Rock community.
