Wood and Ice vs Computers

I am not complaining about how much money I make but ... I just met this guy in the sauna at the gym who makes $1000/day profit selling wood and ice products to other businesses and convenient stores. I am clearly in the wrong business despite how much I enjoy what I do.

Refinishing and reglazing windows

Is a pain in the ass. I keep telling myself now that I spend all my
freetine working on restoration that someday it will pay off when I
can't compute anymore.

I read one persons blog where they said that you can soften the old
glazing with a heatgun to remove it easier but I was afraid the
heatgun would cause the old glass to shatter so chipping and prying it
was.

Nitrate free beef jerky

They now have it at wilsons farms meat summer and elmwood. It comes
in 4 different flavors. I prefer hickory. It was totally reasonable
price too but I can't remember exactly how much.

Night two of restaurant week

Tonight (e:terry) and I went to torches on kenmore avenue. the food was
amazing and for once the portions were of reasonable size. We had the
filet minot au poivre with gnochi and a fried calamri appetizer.

I dislike the fact that I didn't make it out during the week, but I had heard some serious horror stories about wait times, etc. - I'd almost rather wait for another time and eat off of the regular menu. Sea Bar had what I thought was an interesting looking deal for $20, same with Amici. There are some faux-pretentious restaurants that I'll never set foot in (I'm talking to you, Merge).

It's a great idea though, a good reason to try places you've never even heard of! There's a whole lot here and I wish there were more kinds of those entertainment books that get people out and about exploring! (supposedly the B-lo area is a GREAT place for scuba diving! I've lived here all my life and never once heard that- just goes to show!)

Participating retaurants have $20.99 meals that include food, drink an
dessert. Sameer and I ate at Europa, it was delcious. Jaeger

Argh windows

I spent hours yesterday stripping and scraping a dormer to prime
it. I had planned on taking off today and finishing but now it is
supposed to rain. So I am off to work and the windows will probably
get ruined. Fuck.
