gangrenous appendix
Remember like two months ago I had this very same pain. I almost had (e:jon) tale me to the hospital. That's also the spot all my crphms pain came from. Now I wonder if it had to cone out for a while.
Wish it had been (e:jenks) to take it out, then maybe I could have seen it. They did it lapriscopically and had to shave my belly. I look so funny with a hairy chest and smooth belly.
So get this while here I developed an allergy to the pain killer delaudid ( hydromirphone), which sucks because its awesome. I wonder if i am allergic to opium, morphone and heroin? According to wikipedia hydromrphone is 8 times stronger than morphine and 3 times stronger than heroin. I broke out in itchieson my face and then during the second injection of full body hives rash, so they gave me benedrill which in turn made me pretty much insane. I couldn't even speak right.
So now post surgery they weren't gonna give me lpritab but at this point I have not eaten since Thursday a 1pm. So there was no way I was taking a pill. They ended up using tyrrol maybewhich I'd shit compared to delaudid.
I want to go home so bad.

Shopping At Wegman's
What is it with the New Crop thats so good? Was the old crop bad? Isn't it often a new crop? Maybe it just didn't translate very well.
Check out this huge antennae on this car. What kind of signal are they trying to pull in?

The new oak dinning room table
We bought it at Consignment Furniture on Sheridan. They are over at 2217 Sheridan Drive. Buffalo, NY 14223. (716) 874-1979.
Considering the cost of a solid oak dining room table that size we got a super duper bargain at $299.00. Thats right not $2000.00 but $299.00. Some lady was getting divorced and just wanted to get rid of it. The delivery guy said the price was a mistake and we were really lucky. I think it is the first piece of non broken furniture we have besides the new couch I got for (e:matthew) for his birthday - that he hates.

Working on the yard
But first what the hell does this sign mean at the church next door? Drew, any ideas?
The old turtle skeleton is getting cooler and cooler over time. It was the previous owners pet we found dead in the basement when we bought the house.
Parts of the garage got moldy again. We really need to make some sort of ventilation for it. It is a solid brick/concrete box with a water problem. This wooden kids slide got so moldy it was furry.
Removing the concrete was a pain in the ass because underneath it was million brick parts that had to be pulled out in order to plant grass.
I am not sure what we are going to do with all the concrete and bricks we have pulled out of the dirt in the yard. Most of them are from a house that stood here before ours, thinks (e:matthew).
Then there was this pile of yard debris from last year.
And (e:terry) spent the whole day breaking it down. It looks so much better now. He also used some of the broken concrete to build up our compost bin which produced a lot of compost from last year that he sprinkled around the garden today.
Unfortunately, we missed big garbage day, which was this morning. I have so much debris again form the deconstruction of the bathroom. Also, I have a lot of solid copper pipes. Anyone know where i can sell the copper at. I always hear about people stealing copper but k=now that i have my own - I have no idea where you would "unload" it.

Kimya Dawson In Buffalo Again
This time the line was long.
She played a great set. It was kind of annoying that you could hear and feel the Marcellas "Boom, boom, boom" the whole time.
She was the same goodness as always but played a little faster than I remembered.
[flv]0408/KimyaInBuffalo0413.flv[/flv]
It was weird that most of the people in the audience were there because if the Juno movie. It reminded me of the difference between seeing Tugboat Annie play in our friends church basement and then seeing them at a big concert later.
One guy yelled out something like, I liked you before Juno and she kind of ripped him apart till the point he left. I thought that was kind of awkward but he was really being a jerk. He also kept making fun of Buffalo as he was from Seattle or something.
I still love her and her music. She has a baby now.
They have food and tables at the Tralf which is pretty cool.
I made (e:terry) wear his little birdy.
the best part was not being IDed and not because the guy thought I was too old to get a drinking bracelet, but because he thought I was TOO YOUNG to get one. He wouldn't even believe my ID at first. (e:mike), my seven year younger brother did get proofed. That was terrific.

A morning on the west side
When I noticed the Fargo mansion around the corner. Its really quite pretty.
They were working on the roof that morning.
Afterwords, we went on down to the neighborhood that is going to be destroyed for the stupid peace bridge. I can't even imagine if that was my house. Many of them are the same calibur or even nicer. I wish they could just move them into the empty plots on Linwood.
I just feel so bad for them. On the one street they had a million "Don't truck up my neighborhood signs."

Radiation Poison Be Gone
Radiation damage is one of the most frightening aspects of catastrophic nuclear events but, more often, cancer patients suffer the gut-wrenching side effects of the radiation that is administered in an effort to kill the tumor and save the life. In what one scientist describes as his "eureka moment," a new drug was envisioned that has turned into a very viable potential weapon in the fights against both cancer and nuclear emergency.
Drug protects from radiation damageAndrei Gudkov, affiliated with the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, has developed CBLB502, the code name for his new drug that protects healthy cells from the damage caused by radiation even while killing off the cancerous cells. The eureka moment came when he got the idea to put one of cancer's own sneaky little tricks to work against it.

Random Pics and The Church of Ani
Here are some random pics of stuff from my camera.
There are all these holes in the backyard. What are they from.
We gave Basra a bath
For such a hhuge freakin house we didn't have that high of a gas bill considering it was for 4 people.
I was at the Boulevard Mall the other day trying to escape the floor refinishing fumes at home when I saw this car tire with a license plate jammed into it.
Then I found this squirrel paw? on the street. I wonder what happend to the rest of it.
Last thursday we went to go see the Libera at the Church of Ani on Deleware. They sang really good but I got very uncomfortable in the wooden fold out seats. I would probably never go back there for another show if it meant sitting on those chairs for an extended period of time.
I saw these converse at the mall and thought of (e:twisted).
At Michael's they sell customizeable paddles. Who buys these, fraternities?
There is a page in the Elmwood Village called the Elmwood Villager. I never saw it before. The term villager sounds so agrarian and poor.
We went to cheektowaga on vacation.
It actually beat our vacation on Deleware with the view of Walgreens.

Dilaudid is good stuff (so I'm told)- bummer to be allergic. They will probably want to be careful with all narcotics now, which sucks, b/c the other pain meds just aren't as good.
I would show you your appendix. Or at least take pictures for you. ;)
My rules for going home:
1- you can walk
2- you can eat
3- you can pee
4- you are ok on oral pain meds- no IV stuff.
You may well be ok with tylenol/motrin- but I would take the lortab script if I were you just in case. But if you want to go, make sure you tell them your pain is ok, or they might try to keep you another night.
