The best birthday ever
Then I got lots of choxie, plus the entire O.C. series on DVD plus bonus material. Maybe (e:mike) will watch it with me.
Then, I got a new albino pet bird. I love it. I am going to name it albini.
Then we went to one of the nicest dinners I have had at Rue Franklin . We were one of the first people to arrive. By the time we left it was packed. I had squab (Roast squab with Belgian endive, raisins, pinenuts and cardamom. Served medium-rare ) which is basically a baby pigeon
The weird part is that is was borderline raw but on purpose. I actually thought it tasted pretty great - I would get it again. I hope they are raised on a farm and not wild. Apparently, I like the taste of raw pigeon.
So the funniest part was about halfway through the meal in comes an 80 year old guy and his wife/companion who looked about 50. She had breasts bigger than lola ferrari. I know I exaggerate all the time but this was so for real. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at her. I wonder what that must feel like. They were literally larger than basketballs approaching beach balls. Basically just like this:
When we got home (e:terry) and (e:matthew) gave me a bigger box of choxie chocolates and one of the best gifts of all, the gift that keeps on giving - a kitchenaid icecream maker attachment for the new kitchenaid mixer I got from my parents.

33
I can't believe it but I'm 33. Last night we had dinner at my
parents. Lamb, shrimp, artichokes and dandelion plus clams casino -
yum!
Then I spent midnight with my brother drinking which was fun. I did
not have 33 shots for 33 as he suggested.
We tried to go to ETS afterwards but they were closed. Their
drivethru continues to talk even after it's closed. It must be some
automated system.
Then I spent the day playing with my computer and we are going to Rue
Franklin for dinner where they have oysters in the half shell, yum.
In between I scheduled a massage over at The Massage Studio on Allen.
Should be a good day.
I'm still sad (e:hodown) ditched me for the baby. I guess I'll keep the
bag of hello kitty stuff my mom got for her.

The fucking dump is empty
That junk store gone junk yard was being emptied out into a dumpster.
Finally! Now maybe they can make some progress on allentown's most
ghetto block. It needs to be fixed or destroyed from there to the
next corner on north pearl.
Remember when I called the police about the plague of flies in there.
I still wonder what died?

Taking on the baconator
didn't realize it came with no vegetables at all.
I seriously can't believe how many calories are in it.
Between this and my Gallon of Milk per day diet I expect to die before my 34th birthday big and strong NO seriously i can't do the whole gallon a day. I am stick with a half which is only a little more milk than I drank before. Unlike the baconator, the milk I drink is organic and i wonder if it will work. Maybe the reason it is supposed to work is because normal milk has so many growth hormones.

Cute new birdcage
After a trip to (e:chris)' honey hill pet store, we got a more fitting
cage for the birds. They still fight the whole day long.

I hate vehicles
Everyone parks in our driveway. The parking people don't even give
them tickets when the are there. The other day matthew got into an
argument with a city parking attendent who would not ticket someone
parked illegally.
Everytime I come or go on the weekend, I need to beep or get in a
fight with someone.
Then this afternoon, someone with a careshare car smashed into a
dancecamp car. It was clearly the non dance camp person's fault which
is kind of ironic considering how the damce campers are usually parked
illegally all over the street or in lane of traffic. Somehow, the
carshare car hit the parked truck at like a right angle. The way it
hit, it makes me think the car malfunctioned.
This happend two minutes before we were about to leave. No one was
injured and no one was even in the parked car that got hit but three
firetucks, two ambulances and a number of police showed up.
Then the tow trucks showed up and parked in our driveway right in
front of the no parking sign. It's especially redivulous because you
can see the available parking spots behind the truck right on the
street and closer to the accident.

Servers and uptime - happy anniversary
That being said I am getting pretty good at it and I've learned a lot but I have to say, centos itself rocks.
The main web app linux production server I manage at work: 366 days uptime.
Estrip linux server: 369 days
Work linux db server: 76 days would be 366+ but I rebooted 76 days ago to make sure the memory only databases would populate in case of a power failure.
The windows web app servers have tiny uptimes in comparison. For example our main windows web app server is set to reboot every night because no one can figure out the memory issues. It could be the OS, it could be the programs, it could be vendor products, who knows. But one thing is sure, it seems like they constantly need to be rebooted. I am torn on if its windows itself or that no one really understands the windows web servers. I do remember my windows comp needed rebooting all the time too.
Its an interesting situation. The reason the server team loves windows servers is for the support they get from Microsoft.
Its fascinating when I see emails from microsoft support suggesting the solution to a IIS app pool issue is to reboot the server. Is everything in windows solves by rebooting and isn't that a flaw in itself? Isn't the whole point of app pools in IIS to avoid having to reboot the server when apps act up?

In terms of the boob thing I have no idea. What I can say is that women can choose to wear things that kinda hide them or to make them out in the open and push ups and togethers and padding and stuff to make them look fuller. So I'm guessing that if she was showing them off she likes the attention.
Glad you had a great birthday.
