The Grand Manner

At the Kavinoky Theatre with (E:matthew) seeing THe Grand Manner with ticket I got from my parents. Its been so long since I've been to a play.

Then tommorow is NKOTB and the Backstreet Boys with tickets from (e:Mike)'s friend Michelle. A full weekend if free ticket events!

Dirty Pipe

Glen Park?

Fedora 15 Gnome Shell 3

I am loving Fedora 15 and gnome shell despite what some other people are saying. It installed with everything including 3d right out of the box. You can get it yourself here

I was excited to try out the new Bootable network based installer

that adds a simple option to your grub installation and then installers new versions of fedora over the network without any install media but unfortunately I no longer have an accessible ethernet at home.

Timewarner Live Chat Sucks

It seems unreal that in 2011, Timewarner's support center online live chat help system is using user agent detection instead of browser capability detection to allow for chat. At least they should upgrade the agent compatibility list.

WIndow 98 or higher with IE 5 or 6
OR Max OS 10 with IE 5, netscape 6, or Safari 1.0

I am sure it would would in firefox and especially in chrome if it works in safari. Its the result of such lazy web programming. I you find this and need help time warner, you can hire me as a consultant.

Blockbuster no more

The blockbuster's are closing up shop. Its the end of an era. Just like record shops, video shop are going the way of he dinosaur.

Then again there is this newer record store near Elmwoodstrip and Bryant.

Unlike audio I think this is really it for video. I can't see the same nostalgia you see with record stores. Video tapes specifically are less quality than the new video formats, even the streaming ones.

Brodo in Williamsville

(E:terry) and I went to Brodo in williamsville because we were out there for a doctors appt and (e:Terry)'s special enrollment exam. The test has all multiple choice, T/F questions. I got a lot of the practice test right because I am good at testing in that format. If I to explain the answers instead I would have failed completely.
