Estrip SSL certificate authority
If you are in a sketchy place and want to use the SSL version of estrip to protect your session you can.
First accept the estrip server as a certificate authority. Using firefox it is easy, go to and check all three boxes. Then just go to the ssl version of the site for the rest of your trip. You can do the same thing with other browser but you will need to follow you OSes way of importing certificate authorities as chrome, safari and IE all use the OSes cert trust store unlike firefox which has its own.
As a side note flash uploads will not work without having your OS truststore accept estrip as a certificate authority, however, drag/drop and mobile site upload will.

Frickin rash illness from hell
Now I think its pityriasis rosacea. It fits the description very well with hive like welts that have a cigarette papery center. Trust me I have researched like every skin condition under the sun and it seems the most plausible. They radiate out like a Christmas tree if looking at me head on. The unfortunate part is that takes a long time to go away. Here are some links
So I have money and health insurances but it seems like every dermatologist has a months long waiting list and no idea about anyone else to call. Luckily, I made a dermologist appoint for next week about 4 months ago just to get some moles checked out. Here is to forward thinking or being psychic.
And more luckily, thankfully my boss let me work from home while it was really bad this week.
The lighting in the picture don't really do it justice in terms of the redness.
The watery drip in this last pic is really just a water drip not some blister.

Online Creative Suite
The entire thing was made using Adobe Flex and I think more than anything else I have seen, this really makes it apparent what can be done with flex. While I am generally not a big fan of Flex based design, the fact that this web system is free to use online makes it quite amazing.
They have different online apps for vector and bitmap manipulation. Additionally they have an app for make color palettes and editing music and video. They even have tutorials on how to use the different apps
You can then export your creations to your desktop.

One Step Away From China
On one hand I get it, the data is still classified even though it has leaked. At the same time this is a slippery slope. I bet soon enough we will have a something close to the Chinese situation that American's so often criticize.

FIFA Worldcup 2022
Japan's bid included offering to display the games in 400 international stadiums in holographic projection so that people who were not there could experience the game. They also show children with real time translation devices like in star trek. I guess it makes sense 2022 is 10 year away and technology is moving pretty quickly. I wish they had won.

Dairy Air
sorry, but gay and military don’t mix, I was in during the gulf and after with some incursions that if I was partnered with a gay individual I would question his/her ability to think rationally and to watch my back instead of my dairy air...
I am totally confused about this point. I think men who love men have infinitely more interest in protecting other men. I guess this guy never heard of Sparta? In one of the other responses from the article, someone quoted another person saying something like, "In battle, I want to be partnered with a gay man who is in love with me, so that when the enemy fires at me, he takes it personally." Unfortunately, when I tried to find the quote itself on google I could not find anything that matched.
My favorite response was this one:
Grow up!
I was in the military, I went to war and got my medals, Oh!, and I am a queer! Most of the guys in the service with me knew it and some liked to f*** with me, but just once. Know how to stop someone from calling you a faggot? Kick his ass, you go from being "that faggot" to "that faggot that kissed his ass" and you would be surprised at all the silence!
