Blue Screen of Death

Sometimes it kills.

At this week's hearings, Transocean officials recited a litany of mechanical problems that plagued the rig, which was 43 days behind schedule in drilling the Macondo well, which rig workers referred to as the "well from hell."

Williams, who has filed a lawsuit against Transocean, said a computer system that monitored well drilling operations, known as the "A chair," was often offline due to technical issues.

"We called it the blue screen of death," Williams said. "It would turn blue and you would have no data coming through.

Glad someone appreciates my work

The new online directory is a work of art. The person or persons responsible for designing such an intuitive and useful website deserves our appreciation. The feature I liked the best was the pictures of the people I search for, since I am very bad at connecting names with people. Thanks for the good work.

My new outfit and pre fire

The fire was gigantic. We left our phones at the camp. I kind wish I brought it but I had fun dancing without it.

teens carjack woman on Delaware

Watching TV in the waiting room, it seems unbelieveable but 3 teens carjacked a woman at Delaware and Nottingham terrace. Apparently they have been arrested and are also accused of attacking a rollerblader at Delaware park. This is why I run whenever I am alone. On the other hand if someone tries to carjack me I'd probably run them over.

Wish me luck, although if I had to die, anesthetic is the way to go.
