Miss Kittin

So I was listening to keith's radio again I heard this song that I think i s by Miss Kitin

. At least google thinks it is. So I looked her up. I fond her website and I love it. It breaks all the traditional web design pre-conceptions I have. It kind of reminds me of something jesse would make.

At work I programmed surebert's

server side companion called poser. It transcends all of the normal security boundaries associated wih AJAX as it poses as a local page and allows you to load llive xml from anywhere on the net into your page. It even eats and forwards cookies with no effort and poses as any site on the web. It makes XML data that surebert can eat virtually limitless. I wish anyone I talked to outside of work would have any idea what I am talking about because it is pretty cool.

Crustaceans

Man what a stressfull day. At about 3PM I realized that they had shut the server down because it was acting a spam server. I was so stressed out waiting to get homeand deal with it.

Apparently, millions of aol users got spam because someone was using our email forms to send email.

I fixed it all now and now the site should be better without sending so much spam.

We are eating lots of crustaceans these days. I hope I don't go crazy from the mercury.

Cliff bars has a new peanut butter toffe flavor, yun. Also orgabic crackers were on sale at wegmans. (e:mike) and I had a crazy time trying to buy like 2 shopping carts worth of groceries with a basket.

Sprint Customer Service

I love my PPC 6700. It really can do everything I want it to. The evdo speeds on sprint are great but sprint customer service sucks really bad. Worse than any other cell phone customer Service I have ever dealt with. Both t-mobile and cingular had amazing customer service in comparison. With sprint I have had several situations where I was transferred 5+ times, each time being assurred that the next person was in fact a specialist for my phone.

Today I spent about 2 hours on the phone with them, in the end they just told me how to reset my phone. It worked. Why can't they tell you that upfront?

The Snow Party

Well happy 29th birthday to (e:hodown). I hope you had fun at your party. It looked like it the way you were popping the champagne. I am all partied out for a while.

There was lots of screaming toward the end until about 5 in the morning. I have learned my lesson about arguing with drunk polish people so I just went to bed. (e:enknot) you having amazing patience.

The baked goods were out of this world. My favs being ladycrofts yellow cookies and leetee amazing chocolate bark. You guys rock.

It was nice to see everyone, I didn't take any pictures because I was trying to be less tech more social. It's my new weekend lifestyle. I hope someone posts pictures on the site. (e:metalpeter), I will download some of your pics from ebshots and see whats up with them.

SuperK's super Radio

So my favorite online radio station is superk's

I wrote about it a whole bunch of times and I put it in my favorite link list.

Tonight he IM'd me before the show to say thanks for listening and to tell me about the live show on Thursdays nights at 12 EST. It's so funny becuase I listen to it like everyday on my phone at work. He found the link I had put on my journal. How awesome is it to meet a fellow web designer through the technology of streaming sound.

He grew up in the same town as (e:terry). That's how I found his site in the first place. The music and the cute pics kept bringing me back.

Thanks for the music Keith, a lot of estrip was programmed listening to your station.

you're just jealous

I got my new comp at work. It is a 3 gHz mini dell with a gig of ram and a totally adjustable flat panel. My boss said I could even get a dual panel. I also got flash mx pro, photoshop and illustrator. Ironically I am getting so used to gimp and inkscape.

Whatever guest that said (e:ajay) wasted his time on his PHD because you think he is a chinp. I would like to remind you that he has a fancy job at yahoo and you don't.
