Squirrel In the Attic

This morning we heard a lot of noise in one of the servant bedrooms on the third floor. At first I just thought it was the tortoise in his room on the 2nd floor but as we listened you could hear the pitter patter of a squirrel.

When I got up there I expected him to be in the attic above there but he was in one of the rooms. I seriously have no idea how he got in but he tore stuff up so he must have been there a while.

We chased him around and around with blankets till we finally caught him but not before ran up (e:terry) 3 times. I just wrapped the blankets up real tight and brought him outside. My worst fear was he would somehow get set free as I was carryong him out.

Left Bank Seafood

Last night we went to Left Bank for one of (e:terry)'s friend's surprise birthday party. We didn't sit down for dinner but we had some delicious seafood apetizers including shrimp on a base of artichoke hearts.

Selling Textbooks

Saw this woman tossing a sign around in stiletto heels in 20 degree weather. I was thinking what a freakin redic job being sexy outside in the tundra like wind. Once I got closer I realized it was a robot. A robot in stiletto heels.

Meat vs Vegtable

I think I eat a balanced diet but I realized I barely eat carbs. The carb pile was black rice, while grain rice puffs and mung bean noodles. They never made it into the pic.

I love grocery trips that involve both clam and lamb.

Electronics Recycling Facility in Buffalo

I wish I had realized this before. There is an actual facility where you can go to drop off electronics instead of having to wait for a specific day. Its called Sunnking and its at 1120 Seneca Street. I just wish it, as well as, the metal scraping facilities were open on Sundays.

What is with this sick pizza? I can't believe its still out like someone is going to buy it?

I also can't believe that spam is $4.59 for a can. You could buy fancy wild caught tuna or a pound of beef for that price.

Seneca Niagara Casino

It was all downhill tonight. After I lost all my money I decided to look into how the slots are programmed. I thought it might be cool to be a programmer for the machines. I mean some of them are pretty awesome nowadays.

Then I read this report

about electronic slots cheating and read that the programmer turned star witness got "shot in the back of his head in his mobile home." I couldn't decide what was more a shocking, that they killed him or that the guy who programmed the chips that raked in millions by cheating lived in a fucking trailer home. How unfair is that?

Strange Fruit

Last week I was craving a persimmon so bad. I had to wait a whole week for it to be sweet enough for eating. Its weird, yoi got to wait until they are pretty much smush for them to be ripe.

I paired it with clams. What doesn't go with clams?
