O3 on elmwood

Finally went to O3 on elmwood. The food was delicious albeit slightly pricier than my usual lunch spots. In turn you get some really fresh organic food.

Unforunatly, I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my entre. I got the Italian tuna wrap with capers. It was so good and came with some yummy blue corn chips. We also got a house salad. (e:terry) got a Baja chicken wrap special.

On the way out I got some honey fig chocolate truffles and a chocolate chip cookie to go as dessert.

I would totally go back.

Hiking at Zoar

We went a different way and started at the other parking lot and headed toward the confluence. The police were out in full force checking for people drinking. The police Guy had on the coolest shoes. Thy had mesh bottoms to let the water out.

We caught he cutest baby snake. It was so friendly.

The biggest banana

This is the biggest banana I have ever seen. I thought it was worth a picture but the picture doesn't do it justice.

The bike trail and pesticides

I find it so strange that they spray pesticide on the new bike trail between dugs dive and Gallagher beach. Its sick because the geese were eating right out of it and the runoff goes directly into the water ways.

The composition of most of it is nothing like grass anyways. Its the typical, natural mix of local weeds. The little yellow signs were all over the place.

Bethlehem Steal Headquarters Not Knocked Down

We rode our bikes down to the former Bethlehem Steal headquarters that was supposed to be demolished today. Apparently the protestors managed to stop it.

Coco on Main Street

(e:heidi), (e:enknot), (e:terry) and I went over to Coco on main street, at the former Eights restaurant location, to eat lunch today. Its so great to have another lunch restaurant near work. I always wondered why the other restaurants that were formerly at this location never tried the lunch crowd. I hope they succeed. The food was great.

Best work day

I had such a great work day for once and then I went to the gym all by myself with no prodding. I hope its the start of a great weekend. Looks like the weather should be. Now I just need plans.

Mothers Day 2012

We hit it off with a seafood extravaganza cooked on the grill that I thought had no meals left in it. We got a lobster for my mom, then we shared little neck clams, cherrystone clams, king crab legs, BBQ shrimp, andouille sausage, roasted zuchhini and summer squash, boiled red potatoes, corn on the cob, asparagus, string beans, salad (romaine, mache, carrots, celery and radishes with an ugli fruit dressing), olives and whip cream raspberry/blueberry parfaits as dessert.
