Cute tortoise needs new home

Its time to let the new tortoise go. He is healthy and eating but Basra the much bigger tortoise just keeps beating the crap out of him. This morning he was on his back and and basra was repeatedly was ramming his shell into a cinderblock at full force. Then when he tires of beating him up he tries to have sex with him. Its just not a good existence. Not sure what to do because we have to find someone with enough space.

Hulu, abc, fox, etc

So I watch more TV now that I have no friends and get home late from work M-TH. I used to like the way hulu had the shows on the night after they aired. Sames with Abc, Fox, etc but it seems that now all of the content providers have switched to airing the episodes the following week unless you buy hulu plus or have cable. For example, the raising hope that aired last night will be available wed sept 28th unless you pay $7.99/month for hulu plus or sign up for cable which is surely like $50+ a month.

I really don't get why Time Warner doesn't consider us a valuable enough customers to let us watch he shows online that are normally on the free over the air channels. Its not like we don't already pay them $120/month for our internet. I mean I don't expect to see HBO, etc but at least the shows on fox, abc, etc. What is the difference if I watch it as cable or over the internet over a cable wire. They are getting paid either way and I am subjected to advertisements that they profit from.

The whole thing makes me so aggravated. I probably just need to learn to be patient.

Sky High Adventure Park

Lexington coop trip - $27.39

Just to show I still support the coop despite the cauliflower incidence.

I spend this much there several times a week.

One gallon organic milk, 2 yogurts, 1 block Munster cheese, 2 packs of gum, 1lb ground Turkey (was only $3.99 and free range hormone antibiotic free), bananas, 1 cookie and 1pt of organic ice cream.

Tortoises Fight, Basra "Wins"?

I think its not going to work out with the new tortoise. Despite having a giant backyard to play in they find each other and fight or have sex. I don't think its going to be possible to keep them together indoors without one killing the other.

Strangely, when I got home it was the little one attacking Basra. He must have had a bad day because matt found him upside down in the pond pit when he got home. Sadly it seems that youtube cannot handle the video which is weird because it is totally normal on my phone and I uploaded twice with the same problem.

It wasn't long before he turned the situation around. What surprising is just how long they can have sex for. It must have gone on for over an hour. By the end he was foaming at the mouth and drooling. Its so weird because they never make any noise accept for that.

Prayer In The Park

We went hiking at Niagara Gorge the other day and the Christians had some prayer in the park thing going on.

I can't believe how loud they are. There were like 15 of them but with their loud speakers you would think it was for a crowd of 500.

Why is having a giant loudspeaker not illegal in a state park? I mean most of the people came there to visit the nature and you couldn't hear anything over their bullshit.
