The begger at walgreens on north
stories. She is a lying hustler. I honestly have a hard time not
spitting on her at this point.
I really hate it when you see the people fall for her shit and give
her money.
Today's story is it's the Taste of Buffalo and the police are just
arresting people . She makes it sound so Nazi state without any
context.
When that doesn't work she pulls out her tried and true story of the
decade: her daughter unexpectantly had a baby she wasn't ready for
and that she needs to get to sisters to deal with it.
She has been telling that very same story since I used to come here in
high school. Either she has 1000 grandchildren or she is a liar. I
vote liar.
Its sad because scumbag, scamartists like her give the city a bad rap
and on top of that make people care less when there is someone that is
really begging for money and really needs it.
The one woman even went back to her car to get more money, what a
sucker. I mean she is definately a hustler, but even if she wasn't,
that is what social welfare programs are for. To help people and to
keep it legit and for that we already pay a lot.
I feel like for the amount of times I have had to put up with that
story, she owes me. Just to be clear she is the one on the stripped
shirt.

Shrimp on mushroom caps
delicious. I only wish I didn't have a cold so I could have enjoyed
the food more. I spent the rest of the day in bed.

The Christian pamphleters
flyers. The one in this picture was actually one of the older ones.
There was seriously one that was like 9, more than 20 ft away from his
dad who was not even looking in his direction. If I had children I
would never leave alone in such a big crowd.

I am sick?
I guess (e:enknot) was sick last week and he is not dead yet so let's hope it's all good and just a "summer cold"
The dilema. Because of my unbearable seasonal alergies, I have been on Claritin since the beginnng of may. It is the only thing that works for me. the level of allergies I have is worse than being sick. If I stop taking it I will become sicker than hell with allergies on top of being sick. But if I continue to take it, does it Lowers my immunity by blocking antihistamine production. Seriously, I just need to move away from allergy land.
After some research it seems like you can take claritan while sick so I guess that's good? The whole hing is really a myatey to me.

Thursday in the square with siblings
Had a great evening at Thursday in the square with the siblings,
(e:libertad), and (e:heidi). It was packed with people and I packed
myself full of beer.
Afterwards, we went to lagniappes and I had some crab cakes. Then
over to staples.

Taliban vs faggot
In the mean time a crazier white dude showed up and started screaming about his girlfriend, kicking the wall at the gas station, etc. They clashed which led to whole a nigger, faggot, nigger, faggot, blah, blah, drama.
Then more guys got involved, so like 7 minutes later a whole bunch of police showed up but at that point I had to go. I am so curious what happend.
The really interesting part was the exchange with 911. The woman acted like I was freakin out when I thought I was talking very calmly. It made me think in a crisis style emergency they wouldn't be able to understand a thing.

Shooting at Bidwell?
There are like 10 cop cars and state troopers surrounding a mini van
that appears to have holes shot in the drivers door. I couldn't get a
better picture but it right at the corner of Bidwell and elmwood
across from Room? Anyone know the details, I never saw so many police
in one spot.

Terry's almost 30th Birthday
My mother insisted on celebrating (e:terry)'s 30th birthday a month and
a half early because his mom and sister are in town. He doesn't want
to be 30, so it's pretty funny.
She made carrot cake which is his fave and decorated it with hand
laminated beers. Yes, she has a personal laminator.

Funannas are yumtastic
We went back to Dug's Dive on the Buffalo harbor and this time we had
some fun-anas. It's basically a frozen banana on a sucker stick.
They have a bunch of dippings and then a bunch of coatings you can
choose from including cookie crumbles, sprinles and pecans.
I had peanut butter with pecan topping. They are only $3.

I haven't seen her recently as we have switched our family meds back to Wegman's.
OK - I am totally horrible for this, but I also start giving them a hard luck story of my own back.
I really did have a hard time a while back. I was on welfare and couldn't make ends meet. I was so angry how they treated me downtown. Hell I have been paying taxes since I could work. When this beggar came up and asked if I could spare a dollar and I let him have it. My anger at the system, at my roommates for screwing me over with the bills, at the eviction notice, at the bills being run up in my name, at my counselor who acted like I barely could read or write instead of an eduated person with a degree - I rambled on and on and on and on. For every problem he could figure out he heard he handed me a dollar saying he was sorry! That day I cried. Now, I can laugh.
But in actuality that happens everywhere just about every city. I used to have this conversation with co-workers in Canada about the differences in panhandlers between our two countries. We basically decided that Canadian panhandlers were more polite and had some semblance of manners while US panhandlers were belligerent, crude and demanding.
