Jim Leong, my landlord is such a jerk that it is unbelievable. He has screwed us over time and time again. I should have figured it out when he first tried to trick me about the lawn mowing cost.

When we went to sign our lease again he told us we might notice some people around the basement, etc as they set up the new downstairs apartment. Then he added an upstairs apartment, and a renovated side apartment to our house. It is non-stop pounding [inlink]paul,1911[/inlink] every freakin day starting early in the morning for almost a month now. We also often have no water, or our electricity goes off, our doorbell doesn't work, etc. Since they tinked aroudn with the electricty two weeks ago, we have had no doorbell, which they have been alerted of. We live on the second floor.

Teresa, our former neighbor ( in the same building) came home one day to find her apartment cut in half and reduced by about 15% in size. During the construction of the upstairs apartment they made it so that he apartment was cut in two, with an entrance to her bedroom and a separate entrance to the rest of her unconnected apartment. Needless to say she promptly moved out.

Today was the topper for me. I came home from work and some dude was whistling in my house. I asked him what was going on and he said he was told to put some pipes in our inner hallway closet next to our bedroom. He was moving the stuff out of the closet when I came in. He was nice and all but there is never a time, save in an emergency when it is acceptable to be in my house when I am not home and there is no emergency. Especially going in my closets and moving shit around. He told him his boss said it was acceptable and to just clean stuff up afterwards so it looked untouched.

This was not an emergency and furthermore, it wasn't even the landlord in my apartment it was some work guy. He hasn't called me back yet. I can't wait. He never respects us for a second. When they started pounding one Sunday morning above our bedroom at 8:30am I confronted him and he turned it into this semantics game where he said they started at 8:30 iunstead of 8:15 like I said. Who cares, stop inconveniencing our life you scumbag.

One day while (e:terry) was in the shower and the water went off, I went to find the plumber who told me that he tried to contact us to warn us but couldn't. We were in the house!!! Not to mention that he told me our landlord wasn't even in the country. I am starting to agree with our neighbor who under similar stress and irritation with Jim Leong, told him to go back to china (he is korean which make sit even funnier)

If he thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable than I would like to see what he thinks about me opening the windows in mid january-february with the heat around 90 degress for the same inconvenient 4 week duration.

Nonna said the most truthful thing today, i tried to capture it all on my phone but only caught the beginning. It basically amounted to people are fat today because they eat at places liek mcDonalds's and don't work. We were watching a Dr. Phill show about people getting their stomachs stapled and she was saying how there were so many poor starving people and some people are so fat they spent $100,000 on surgery to stay surgically skinny. She said when she was young there were fat people too but they were one kind of people, business people!!! Her reason was that they had all of there meeting in restaurants.

Everything is going crazy today. Liz's car died so I came to try and jump it. No sucess yet. While I was here I took some pics and sound recordings with the sidekick2, which can take pics at 640 x 480. Unfortunately, the journals only take up tp 400 right now.

My new sidekick2 arrived today and while the look of it is ultramodern and chic, I hate the new keyboard. It is to small for my big thumbs. At least it records voice now.

After reading my students essay today, I decided that I cannot be friends with (e:twisted) anymore, lol. So much for generation text and the age of the internet.

I feel the internet is like a whole separtate life. This social barrier things work fine if you keep your internet life on the internet. I don't think meeting people on the internet is the best thing to do because you never really know a person. Asking a guy you think is 18 about a book you read and meeting this guy who turns out to be a 46 year old guy is not something you want. So the internet does break social barriers but it is best to keep the internet people you know on the internet not into your real life.

I am so excited to see that this server at monsterhosting.ca has had as much uptime as promised 99%, knock on silicon. Is still have one more account with th eold hosting co at Globat (slowcrap.com) and as usual that site is down today. When I called India, they once again told me they knew about the problem and were working on it, although it took the woman 10 minutes on hold to determine they already knew about it. I cannot wait till the day when I never have to deal with them again.

From what I gather, hHe is teaching a class about blogs . He used our site as on of the examples for setting up blog feeds in a program called bloglines . The program could be useful to those of you who read the site via the RSS links.

SO as usual I was following the links that lead to our site when I found devilfinder.com - what's weird is that they have of our most personal images catalogued on their system. I wonder why or how that happend. Go to and type in elmwood strip. If you are pretty connected you will know every person who's picture shows up. I like this one.



The site says that they are not responsible for content and that all images were found on google, yet I cannot find these images on google. Can anyone else?

Dear Mr. Bush,
I found the WMDs and this time they are being created right at my school in Buffalo.

This has all the info. Who would ever think the guy next to you in the cafeteria might be making WMDs when he is done with lunch. What a weird mix of a medical school (supposedly helping people) and a WMD creation laboratory (mass killing machines).

This is precisely why I would never feel comfortable taking a position at a big research university and exactly why I stopped thinking about VR. It can't imagine what other even more sinister projects are being conducted on campus.

According the the article, A team led by University at Buffalo researcher has received a $500,000 grant from the U.S. Navy to develop "a next generation all-electric warship that will revolutionize the Navy's use of weaponry and manpower," according to the Navy and the university.

According to the article, Standard shipboard electrical systems currently are unable to distribute this immense electrical power to all parts of the ship, making it impractical to use certain advanced weapons and sensors that require a lot power, according to the Navy.

The Navy plans to have the ship operational by 2012.

I believe those advanced weapons might be WMDs. We should get the UN right away. Hans?
