Video Compression and Hot Sauce
Then I headed over to Jim's Steakout for some tasty chicken finger club sandwich, see below.
We might do more interviews this weekend at the Allentown art festival.
Anyone interested in volunteering?

Rachel and The Books
I never read those books [inlink]rachel,73[/inlink] . Any of them! Now O'reily MySQL, or quickstart guide to javascript, those are the books in my collection, hahaha. So if I was brainwashing you, you'd be a programmer.

If you had a flag . . .
didn't fly it at half mast because you thought Reagan wasn't a good
guy. Can you still be an American? I mean, what makes that particular
war lord special enough for a flag at half mast. I really don't think
being president should be enough to qualify you for all flags in the
nation to fly half mast when you die. Maybe if you were a good man and
a president, but Reagan?

gardening as Matthew and Terry but I am interested in food plants and spices. While we we here I found 18 kinds of mint, and 6 kinds of basil
and yes, the pineapple mint really tastes like pineapple.
mint types: watermint, spearmint, silver, pineapple, perfume, peppermint, orange, mountain, lime, lemon, ginger, corsican, curly, catmint, candy, blue balsam, blackberry, apple
basil type: african, cinamon, italian, lemon, spicy globe, thai
Below are some pics I just took of matthew and Terry contemplating their purchases.
Here are some shots of the mint and basil varieties.
This place is huge and they seem to have everything. It is also nice that it's local and not just another trip to homedepoop.
It's located at 2722 Clinton. Take the 190 N to Clinton, go left and it will be on your left. Check it out.
Here is my favorite the Dahlia.

Now that we have such a huge readership
We should use it to inspire the betterment of our community, maybe even form a citizens action committee.
Artists, you can also use this as a venue for talking about your work.
Soon, I will be also developing new modules for peer restaurant review, local business reviews, and (e:peeps) (social networking.) Any other ideas? Just post them on your journal.

I heart XML and RSS
The best part about this whole RSS newfeed thing is that many people making the feeds are not even the creators of the sites. They are people doing something called scraping. Scaping is taking important content off a another web site and sending it as an RSS feed. For example, a news site minus the advertisments.
Rss is also very mobile because the feeds are little. Using the mac program on the news journal, you can even read your RSS feeds on you iPod. I read them on my phone. They are fast, fun, and efficient and you can find hundreds of RSS feeds out there to subscribe to. Also try searcing on feedster, the online search engine for RSS feeds. Sharpreader can search feedster right from the program.

Elmwood Wireless Network
Here's what I've been thinking about, at Pano's.
Wireless Elmwood Network
First, I heard that caffe aroma has wireless internet, at least I think I did.
Does anyone know if it is free? We have free internet by the (e:strip) headquaters on elmwood and lafayette and I think Off the Wall has it to.
Anyone interested in helping develop a huge free internet zone before some corporate crackhead does? Let's set up a meeting. I think we could do it really cheaply and maybe even get a grant if we tie it in with the site and community somehow.
I imagine the site being the homepage for the giant network. It would be a great way for a free network to represent the people on it and not some lame advertising.
The worst case scenario, is some corporates make the site and when you sign on, you are bombarded with corporate propaganda / advertisements such as M&T offering you free checking. I think we need to act before it happens. Imagine, it would be like living in a virtual pop-up zone. I bet you could get whiplash from the pop-up waves.
Which brings me to the point that I think elmwood would be much better with a giant parking lot on one end or both ends, and then have a limited traffic zone. When I lived in Flensburg, Germany for school, they had a terrific area like this. People might say there is no room for parking, I say just use up part of the street. Deliveries can happen at night. Similar to what Ithica has downtown.
The streets here suck anyways. Look at the picture I captured below as I practically trip over the pot-holes writing this on my way down the street.
Anyone, care to discuss this?

Trash Can
die. Nothing is trashier than stealing a garbage can.
I want it back, if I find you with my garbage can the wrath of the
digital mafia will consume you.
Please bring it back to my house before Thursday.
