Terry
Sometimes its probably easier to work with robots. I often dream about how uniform it would be to teach robots by giving them code, instead of students by giving them words. Especially if the robots were all the same make and model.

Response to Shawnr
In this case it was mostly a problem with her not being local. My inital intention was to have a local forum with people who were in some ways affected by (e:Strip). Everyone here has either lived off Elmwood, lived in Buffalo, or is closely related to someone or something that does reside here.
I never wanted to start a live journal site. I agree that there could be better approaches but when someone messes with my friends its makes me really angry. Sometimes I get crazy. One time I threatend to burn down a hotel and the police had to come.
So now it leaves me with so many issues. Not sure if you saw post 590, it was a couple down. [inlink]userName=paul,blogID=590[/inlink]
On another note, did you ever want to do anything with Second Life cartoons. I remembered we had talked about it in class but didn't know if you were still interested. It would be great to do a commercial/cartoon for the site. Maybe we could re-inact this drama and have multiple endings that the user can pick.

Ransom Note Maker
So after finishing the cam I decided to continue cutting out ransom note letters for my automated ransom note writer. Here is the
Simply type the note and print. No finger prints added. I figured this oculd be necessary at some point.

Scud Responses
As for the 64 bit processor. As far as I know none of the software you use has been upgraded to take advantage of those processors.
Here is a to the benchmark pages for the opteron from AMD. If you get one go with the AMD opeteron. You can find such things here at zipzoomfly
I would stick with a dual xeon P4 for now. Or maybe go for the 64bit and hope the software take advantage of it. I think you would be best putting the additional money into ram.
The candle and dish was made using Cinema 4D. I have the file still if you want to check it out sometime. It seems to take forever to render.

Irritating Mess
At first I had stuck up for her saying that she was a confused girl who needed an outlet, blah blah. Anyways she turned out to be a real psychotic bitch and sent Jessica and I nasty emails. It seems pretty messed up that she signed them in secret as Florida bitch. I would have respected her more if she used her name. Seems pretty spinless to me.
We had a meeting today and I am not sure what this means for the future of the site. We are going to have to make an official policies that people must accept upon signing up. I had hoped for this to be unnecessary. I am not even sure if I am really interested in the project so much anymore if it has to be so restrictive.
There are a bunch of possibilities:
0. We could enforce the local only policy, but that seems so exlusionary to people who had lived here or those related to those that live here. We would lose iresara, mk, hodown, and courtney to start off. The benefit of having local only is that people are held personally responsible for their actions. They fuck shit up, we beat the shit out of them. Okay, just in theory.
1. Ditch the project and start my own site for me only. Much more control for me, the site coudl be really technical. I may do this either way.
2. Start a fund raiser so we can buy our own T1 connection for the supercomp and control everything, also acceptable.
3. Only accept people via invitation or references. Restictive but effective.
4. Just let it go and hope there aren't jerks out there.
5. Anyone else have an idea.
On a similar note, I have decided not to let the journals be searched by google. I really don't want this site to spread on the internet. The orginal focus of the site was the deglobalization of the internet and we are already going to far in the wrong direction as far as I am concerned. I am seriously interested in moving it to a localized, wireless intranet because of the type of problems we are having now. I don't want random people from other places, with no vested or even indirect interest in our neighborhood to fuck it up.
I think that if we open the journals to be searched by the crawler bots, we are opening a can of worms. For people to find the site now they have to look for elmwood strip not just whateve rthe topic was for the day. That already eliminates so many peopel out there.

VRML was great
VRML is dead, let it rest in peace. Try another format like Java3D via wirefusion/UZR or viewpoint models or Shockwave 3D. VRML will always look old and tired.
If you are tsill interested in the format. I have some great books on VRML. You should really read them to understand how it works. They were written about 10 or more years ago.

Funeral For Chuck
This will be the first possibly tragic funeral I ever attended. All of the other funerals I attended were for much older people and everyone would reminisce about how they lived a long and happy life and it was just there time to go, etc.
At least I get to go with Mike. I imagine it may be hard on my dad too. Maybe not, as he seems to have attended a lot of funerals, but it is his first cousin and I can't imagine attending a funeral for Christina or Jennifer, especially if we were in our 50s.

Rocky Returns
He told me about all of his drama, not wanting to settle down with her yet, etc. He still wants to live it up for a while and said she is already turnign middle aged. I kinda felt bad for him and then wondered if Terry thought the same thing, hahaha. So we went out . . . contact me for further information.
I also saw Jill Ferorce. That will probably only make sense to hodown
Anyways, it was really all very weird. Sorry Chris and Chris for not being the best host.

Candle Burning
This was my attempt at modeling candle light using Cinema 4D. It seems to have come out pretty real. Maybe some glow at the top of the wick would be nice for next time.
