Music Is Art

The music is art festival was awesome this year. There were so many electronic and dance music areas. I only wish we had gone earlier. (e:joe) and I got there around 4pm and danced a bunch but by the time (e:terry) arrived at 7 or so it was already starting to get stormy and by 8 it was down pouring. Luckily the stage under the bridge was fully tarped.

Tina's Wedding

(e:uchina) and I traveled to (e:Tina)'s and Jeremy's wedding in Syracuse last weekend. The wedding was so beautiful.

It was located at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse. The interior was one of the most intricate designs I have ever seen for a movie palace. Shea's has a similar style but this was way over the top. It borrowed from all kinds of asian and Arabic architecture and themes and then just blended it together with gold leaf. It gave you a feeling of being transported into a golden age of the big screen.

I am so happy to see them together. I just wish (e:lilho) and (e:hodown) could have been there.

Syracuse

(e:uchina) and I traveled to Syracuse last weekend for (e:Tina)'s wedding and to hang out with liz. I'm not sure I love Syracuse but we made it a fun time. Anything is fun with (e:uchina).

I mean, it's got some interesting architecture but it feels like a country version of Buffalo. There is one section of Downtown that feels pretty nice where they have all these restaurants right next to each other.

My Favorite Cat Food

This is literally one of my favorite foods to eat. (e:joe) and (e:terry) think it is just cat food and hate the smell so I have to eat it outside. I want to go to the place where they put them in the cans and eat a fresh one.

New York State Fair

It's very much like the Erie County fair. I'm sad that the Science and Progress hall basically made it seem like freeze dried dip and gutter covers are the the pinnacle of progress. America is tanking.

Nonno's Ruby Ring

My mom gave my Nonna's old ruby ring. Apparently it's genetic.

Joe Building Terry's Warcraft Computer

For (e:Terry)'s birthday we got him a super Warcraft machine. (e:joe) is building it right now. I wonder once the expansion is out tomorrow if we will ever see (e:Terry) again.

My New Office Setup - 360 View

It's an amazing setup that's kind of hard to appreciate not being there but this 360 image does it some justice. Sitting at my desk there are two hi res monitors on either side of me and a 55 in led panel TV running 4k at 60hz on a high top solid oak conference table about 8 feet away.

The conference table also has a video conferencing unit setup for WebEx and has a secondary mouse/keyboard on it which can be used to control the desktop displayed on the TV and used as a standing desk as it's about 5 ft high.

The table has 6 chairs that I use for people when we are meeting.

From my chair if I drag a window from the monitor in the left toward the right monitor it goes all the way across the TV, which is amazing for demoing stuff. The TV is also great for coding both from my desk as the display sits directly in front of my field of vision.

Now I just need some sort of starscape back drop for behind my desk for when we video conference lol.

Ethiopian At Fast And Tasty On Allen

Despite the really plain look of the place the food is so delicious, I eat here so much I might be made of Chicken Galaba at this point. The Foul is really good as an appeteizer too.
