My Low Temperature

I am always freezing. Especially my hands, feet, nose, ears, etc. I feel like (e:Terry) and (e:joe) always think I am making it up.

At the Corning museum they had demonstration measuring the temp protection from certain types of glass.

Seeing the difference between our hands made it very apparent that I am in fact much colder. Same clothing, room temp, amount of exercise walking around the museum.

Its not just Terry vs me. Every other person I watched use it was warmer than me. Maybe I have a thyroid problem.

Corning Glass Museum

The Corning glass museum was amazing. I would definitely go back. We spend about four hours there and I don't think we made it through the whole thing. Totally worth the price. There is art, history, science and live demonstrations not to mention the biggest gift shop I have ever seen. It makes me want to try glass blowing.

Perkins

I don't think I ate there since the 90s but last night we were stuck where there was only a Perkins. The food wasn't that bad. I remember this was always my brothers favorite restaurant when we used to have them in buffalo.

Dad, Uncle Frank's and E:libertad's Birthday

My dad and uncle just turned 70 and (e:libertad) turned half their age.

It was a great party. We heard a lot of stories comparing my dad and uncle's military experience. For twins they had very different experiences. My uncle talked a lot about camaraderie while my father's was more "negotiation."

its so funny to hear them tell stories they were both involved in and how different they often tell them and the few stories where they agree.

Sharkeys

The beach near (e:Terry)'s mom's house is pretty awesome. There are so many starfish and sand dollars living in the water. The sunsets on the peer were amazing, I feel like the camera can't capture it the range.

Trapped In An Airport

We were on the plane and it broke. Luckily it wasn't in the air yet. Now I am listening to the most ridiculous man force his life story on the flight staff.

Part of it him is royal blood from England. Specifically he is 350 people away from the queen.

He literally just said, "I am more important than a doctor, I am a medical administrator, I tell the doctors what to do and how much they get paid."

Which lead to him telling a story about actually being out of work for a year because he can't keep his mouth shut so no one will hire him.

He was here because his family member died. Then his best friend died suddenly. Now he is on his way to burry another friend who just died. At one point I think I heard him say to someone else that he is terminally ill himself and only had a week to live.

At some point he was bragging about living in Boco Rotan and not speaking the language but having a tutor that cost $125/hr that he couldn't bother listening to and making 100k.

Then he started telling the air crew all about plane crashes. The staff were not happy with that.

All of this because he just wants a cigarette but no one will let him out. Even they he was former CIA. No wait he dated someone from the CIA. Then he harassed the police because the TSA left before we cleared airspace and when he was working in the CIA that would never happen.

He drives a Mercedes but his wife took with everything else. She is his best friend still luckily.

I wish I could remember half of the crazy stories he had.

Going into hour two of waiting all the cigarette smokers are going nuts. I've just never seen people feind like this.
