Ladies who Lunch

So I love going out to lunch. I wish I could do it everyday. Anywho, I am going out to lunch with (e:amanda) at the Juicery downtown today cuz I don't have to work until 5. I thought maybe I'd take a walk around downtown after or something because it is nice out and I like to do that. But alas, even though I am on spring break and thus my reduced hours (I am still working like 22 hours cuz everyone else is going on a real vacation) they called me to see if I would go in at 3 because one lady went home upset or something ridiculous like that. I am soooo sick of that place. I think thye may not realize how on the edge of like totally calling it quits there I am. I just want to be a man who lunches without having to run off to work!

I love this picture from Toronto. I love the building in the back. I think it kinda looks like an ad with subpar models/

Shovel your walkway

Last night on the way out of 24 Linwood I slipped on the ice buildup outside their house and fell to the hard cement. Unfortunately it is my brother , otherwise I would sue for all their worth now that my basketball career is over!!!!!!!!!!!

random picture time: One time in highschool, (e:mk) actually asked me "what flavor are the BANANA SHAPED runts"

So Freakin Lucky

OMG so I was doing my physics homework. I wasn't doing the best ever but not the worst ever either. I totally hit a rut and didn't know how to do anymore questions (we get four tries per question, and just submit the answers online so you get no credit for work) Anywho on one question that had three parts I just looked at the question and tried to guess the answer like pretty randomly with a little thought and guesstimatino based ona similar probklem in the book. I GOT TWO PARTS RIGHT!!! BY JUST GUESSING A NUMBER!!! A NUMBER THAT IS LIKE 2.34 and you can only be like 8% off in the last digit. It was the luckiest ever I've been! Too bad I still only got like an 88 on the homeowrk but that isn't too bad. I am content to never be a superstar like (e:terry). At least not in physics

and the random pic of the day: I call it "oh the advertures we've had (at target)

Cabaret Review For Real

Ok some of you may have just seen an entry here but thanks to (e:paul) I got my original entry back so here it is:

So I went to that newish restaurant Cabaret across from Sheas on Pearl Street. It was really good. They have like cheap stuff like salads and burgers and wings and fingers and pricer like meals up to like $30 almost. But we just got the less pricey fare and it was really good. I had a southwestern soup which was super dupa good and then we split the stuffed peppers which were quite hot and I think gave my stomach quite a night that night. But anywho, for the main course I had a PIttsburgh salad which is an amazing invention. It is a salad, with steak and french fries and like cheddar cheese on it and this Rivera dressing. It was a great invention. LIke it makes french fries seem healthy, what's better than that? They have a lot of good things on their I menu I bet. It isn't too fancy but not supa dupa trashy either. A nice in the middle.

I'm starting to post a random picture from the past with each entry! Who doesn't miss that spoon?! This picture makes it look so big - as big as (e:terry)

And the waitress was amazing and fun. She really seemed real and nice but not overly fake nice. All in all it was a great experience, I would go back and I definetely recommend it!!! I paid with a credit card but gave her a pretty good cash tip cuz she was super good and I always have heard that is better so they don't have to declare it all or something, and she was like "thanks, cash tip, thats awesome, you're the best" It seemed weird for her to talk about the tip but it made her all the better. Like so real and good!!!

Letdown City

I am home right now at 1 am and am not happy about it. I would have actually been home even earlier had I not driven around for a little while hoping something fun would come up. This weekend after my physics test I was just in a party mood and I looked good the last two days if I do say so myself , and you know how when you look good you just want to be out and be seen by as many people as is possible so they can all worship your good looks. Well anywho, (e:beast) is my usual friday night party partner but she is in Scotland this week. So (e:mk) , (e:terry) and (e:matt) headed out last night but it was kind of low key not the crazy party I was looking for. Then today I ended up sitting around my house most of the afternoon (ok that is my own lazy fault) and then I went to Big Lots and Wendy's with (e:mk) which was actually quite fun. I love Big Lots, Wendys and filling out comment cards ridiculously with (e:mk) (Wendys=Jesus and I want to kill the Burger King)! Anywho then tonight we all went to see Black Snake Moan which was really good but then I was in a going out mood but noone else was. I just was not ready to be home but had nowhere else to go. I drove around and then came home and now am sitting here. Its not that I had a bad weekend , like everything I did was fun , it just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I just want to be out and having a crazy ol' time. Maybe next week!

Gogurt and Ellen

So I was watching Ellen doing stand up on comedy central the other day. She is hilarious. Like just seriously funny. I think too of my favorite parts were when she was talking about how lazy people have become and her two examples were: (It might not come across as funny typed here but I hope it does cuz it was hilarious)

-she was talking about breath strips and was like "really, we've become that lazy that a breath mint is too much work. I've had a long day at work I just wish I didn't have to use all that energy sucking on a breath mint and it just takes so long. Just put on my tongue , i'm too tired"

the other one was super hilarious she was talking about Gogurt (the portable yogurt for those on the go). She was like " i was never aware yogurt was holding so many people back from the life they wanted to have. That really it was so time consuming it was keeping people from getting anything done. She then pretends to answer the phone and is like

"yeah, hi Tom'
"um, no , i don't think I'll be able to go see a moive tonight"
"No, I just opened a yogurt so its gonna be a while"
"no, not even a later one, its a yogurt with fruit on the bottom. You know how that is. I think I'm in for the night"
"yeah maybe next week"

ok neither of those sounds that funny here but it was hilarious and you should watch her standup!

Marching Towards Failure

I'm on my way to my second physics exam (FROM 7-9 pm tonight. How ridiculous is that to have an exam at 7pm on Friday night when it is not a night class!!! grr) Anywho, hopefully I do slightly better than last time since these people are so friggin smart and ruining the curve I was hoping for. Seriuosly if I do bad I am afraid I might have to kiss pharmacy school, at least at UB, goodbye!

Show time and the eyes have it

So lately I have been realizing I want to see more live theater and stuff cuz I enjoy that stuff a lot and there is a lot here in Buffalo and I don't go enough. So me and (e:mk) are making plans to see Tick Tick Boom and Spamalot and the musical at the highschool she teaches at (which includes a boy dressed as a dog playing Todo in the Wizard of Oz...how can you beat that....and for only $6 none the less!). So anyway there is lots of cheap and expensive theater around here to see but one thing I realized is I NEED TO GET GLASSES! I really can't see as I have said befroe but am too lazy to go get the eye test and pick out glasses. Glasses are so permanent. They seem scary to pick out a pair I will wear all the time. But really seeing all these things will be for nothing because I can't see anything unless I am right in front of the stge. Hopefully all these exciting shows awaiting me finally give me the incentive I need!

And I leave you with this random picture. Could I look any less interested and more annoyed by their adoration. I guess that is what happens when you are worshiped so frequently haha
