Last NIght's Fun

Tried to go and see Fahrenheit 9/11 last night but the 7pm was sold out and there was already a huge line for the 9:30. Insanity. So we went to Pizza Hut instead and I took my first pictures using the borrowed sidekick. Then we went to Spot.

Thanks Chris for showing me how to use all the fun features of the sidekick. He joined us at Spot and then I could fully enjoy the sidekick and emailing in journals with pictures. After that we went home but I stopped here at the estrip headquarters first cuz I wasn't really feeling like going home and I to mine and her surprise Emily was here still. So we chatted a little and then I went home and played hours of video poker. I am offically a non-owning but addicted sidekick user.

Prom at the Co-op and book tidings

Went to the prom at the coop house last night and let me just say that house is amazing, from the grand staircase to the bowling alley countertops it is just so totally amazing. The prom was lots of fun even if I did leave early around 230(my silly stomach never wants me to leave my house and does everything in its power to prevent me from staying out). All in all a good night.

I was reading a book called the Informers by the guy who wrote American Psycho and like the first few chapters were pretty normal about crazy drugged up entertainment people in Los Angeles sort of thing and then all of a sudden a chapter was about vampires who eat people they pick up at bars, the next chapter was about these 20-somethings that tie a boy up in their tub, I believe rape him and then kill him with a switchblade and then the last chapter was about two poeople in a zoo and he admits he is an alien whose people are going to destroy earth in the 24th century. Very odd indeed. It was like um "whoa where did this come from". But considering he wrote American Psycho, I guess you got to expect some of that craziness.

Seeing me at Spot

Hey (e:boxerboi), craziness that I am at Spot so much that it is noticeable. I heard that you hated me though for stealing your seat...hope I can make amends.

I heard about the crazy estrippers naked party night from Beast and Paul. Sorry and not so sorry I missed it as I'm not sure you can go for blood tests in the morning after a night of drinking (does fasting include alcohoo? who knows!)Which by the way I went to a new blood test place on Hertel and they treat people way different I think then the one on Maple in Amherst, totally cuz I think they expect you to be poor at the Hertel and not to be at the Maple one. More on this later..

Silly Shakespeare, Parks are for Kids

Before I get into our Shakespeare in the Park outing I'd like to say I love the new AIM feature and also was so behind in reading jouranls I was so overwhelmed and before I even got to the top ten list as I was like 20 new entry readings behind, the top ten list changed drastically again. So many updates to little time.

So tonight we planned to have a picnic before Shakespeare in the park. Instead we got there after the play had started (the only way we go anywhere is late) and sat in the back where I could not see the actors at all making it more of a audio play for me and thus leading me to have no clue what was going on at any moment in the entire first act. But I did enjoy eating the fruit salad, pasta salad (30 lb tub of it...everything that comes out of Jill's kitchen is large enough for an army), PB &J sandwiches, vegetables, pie , whiop cream and random snack foods. MK's dad is in the play and he was aweseome although I'm not sure of what his character's name nor role in the play was but it was good none the less. We left just as the second act started b/c it started to downpour but poor MK stayed alone to watch her dad, although I would imagine they stopped performing after a few minutes of downpour. I hope she survived, although she did have my cape/blanket for protection, which hopefully helped.

On a funny note, I was sitting about a few feet away from Diana and she looked bored so I started to wave to her in a like kinda crazy funny fake seductive kind of way and their was like a 20something year old guy standing behind her who thought I was waving to him and looked at me and waved back in a "who is this crazy person waving to me , I better appease them" kind of way wave. I love to embarass myself 24/7!!!

I think we are going to be at the midi prom tomorrow night so hopefully I'll see some of you there , we are also probably going to Off the Wall for 80's night which is mucho fun and I recommend everyone go to that too!

Welcome and Shea's Season

First off , Welcome to Drchlorine, Jeremy and Maureen. Maureen, I hope the online journal thing ends up better then you expect. I never really thought about it as like a real journal and so maybe that is why I don't see the problem. Like it is not the same as keeping a private journal, they both have different purposes.

Also, I think I may want to get season tickets to Shea's this season. I want to see most of the things such as the Producers, Chicago, Lion King and I forget what the other one is. Anyone else interested?

P.S. I'm still trying to find out about where they have dodgeball leagues around here, we have lots of people who want to do it now (thanks rachel, lilho, floppydonkey, jill, terry and everyone else who said they want to) does anyone else know where we can play?

UB Library

I'm at the UB library with Maureen and Teres who are actually doing research but I have nothing to do and thus am on estrip. It says I am only supposed to use the computer for research so hopefully I don't get arrested by the library police. This library is huge and scares and overwhelms me. Too many places to get lost.

Jill we tried to go see you at work but after a million mile scavenger hunt to the athletic business office they said you had already left. And it was only 1:45. Someone was skipping out early.....

That's all for now although I may get bored and update again in a few minutes.

Sidenote: Franco's pizza on Kenmore Ave. has a nice buffet for lunch from 11-2 that includes all kinds of pizza, wings, chicken fingers, salad, soup, breadsticks and more. For like 5.94 I believe. It was a good deal. Oh and macaroni and cheese too!! Try it out.

Matt's Deleted Entry

You can't delete entries and leave me eternally wondering about what you had written. It is like on instant messanger when it says your friend is typing but then it dissappears and they never had sent anything and so you always have to wonder , what are they deleting and deciding not to send me? What if it was the most important thing just freaks me out and leaves me wondering forver...

Get Together at Pauls

Went to Paul's last night and saw some (e:people) and it was fun. I discovered gold schlagger (sp?) and hypnotic (I think that was the name) are very tasty but going to sleep at at 5:30 and then being woke up at 9 for going to church for Father's Day feeling like you are going to throw up is not tasty. I don't hate my brother, possibly because of the shared bacon this morning, but I still think he shouldn't have told anyone I think of them as a celebrity. Actually it's not really a big deal and I was just in a sorta bad mood last night for part of the night sorta related to the celebrity incident but not totally and so thought I was madder about that then I really was if that makes sense. Just woke up a little while ago after napping after Father's Day festivities and think I am going to head down to the Artvoice festival. Maybe I'll see some of you there...

Oh and I'm glad to see their is interest in the dodgeball team. I will try to find out more info about where/when/costs soon and post it.

I kinda want a sidekick now but think I would become an addict.
