Yup ,I realy did fail my organic chem test! like number wise it was a failure and unfortunately the class grades in general don't seem that low. Oh well,,, so much for that.

Not Goin' Cry

Ok i used that title instead of I LOVE MARY J. BLIGE cuz i thought it would make you read it. I just wanted to state how much I love Mary J. I heard her last night and remebered how great she is. I have loved her isnce Not Goin' Cry from waiting to exhale was like mine and my friends theme song for her virtual affair with our teacher in middle school (ok it was purely fictional affair but still). And i have loved everything she has done ever since. Seriously none of her songs ever let me down. She is powerful and amazing and entertaining. And she has been through a lot but now she is in a better place than ever!She was one of the first cd's i ever owned! I HEART HER HARDCORE!

One Last Post About School

Ok it probably won't be my last, but my last today, (probably?). Now that I tihnk I may not want to be a pharmacist it is really hard to care about this test today. Like organic chem will never matter in any other world. But what if tomrorow I decide I want to again and then I failed the test, then I am screwed. I have been studying pretty much all my free time tihs week (by studying i mean reading th ehcapters and doing the probelms that I have avoided doing since the last test) so really i am spedning a lot of time but not really getting a lot out of it. There is a very real reality that I may fail this test today and i kinda don't care right now, excpet i havce already put in so muhc time, ugh i wish i didn't find out i couldn't get in to pharmacy shcool until next week so i could care mor eabou this test

Maybe I'll Teach

So now if I decide I don't want to be a pharmacist I am thinking maybe I will be a teacher. I always wanted to do that but then got the idea of other things but really that was my first occupation that I loved. I had so many teachers that influenced me that I always wanted to be like. Maybe I will do that. Either social studies or elementary ed. I am gonna look into it now.

Pharmacy School

So I was told today that I cannot get in for next year. Because some of my prerequisites were 6 years ago instead of the five that they conveniently never told me about or made known of their website in the last year, I now have to wait another year. Not only that but I have to take either one full time or 2 part time semesters of like unneeded 300 and 400 level science courses. I think I am just not going to do it. I am not giving up yet. I am going to talk to another lady. I am gonna pull out all the punches on this one. If not I seriously am just applying somewhere else even if I still have tow ait a year, I just don't want UB to have any of money or gifted future in their hands. We'll see. I am not going down easy!

james- they also say they don't recommend you taking the classes that are part of pharmacy school. and considering they decide if i get in or not I suppose I shouold not do things they don't recommend ugh, i hate them

Like, if you need to take Chem 788 and Bio 801 take them and those are two less classes you will need to take when in Pharm school.

If I get in, I'll quit my job of course so hopefully there will be no problems. The advisor they said would be contacting me has yet to do so...

But first, I think you should write directly to the director of grad admissions (pharmacy) and make a persuasive case as to why you are capable of entering pharmacy school and why the "requirements" should be reconsidered for you.

Personal and persuasive letter often make a good impact. Include your syllabus (And compare it with the present) and graded in the letter if they add to your argument. Also add the various efforts you have made in the past few years to make up with the advances in the syllabus, if any, for each of the subject required.

Party Pics At Last

Ok, so this is the first time I have had a digital camera at an (e:strip) party. I do not take quite the extensive amount of pictures as others and as you will see I mostly take pictures of a)myself b) people with me c) random pics of the floor (ok i won't post those) I serioulsy have pics of very few people but here's what I got kiddos.

P.S. Does anyone know why I always end up scrapped up , cut up and bruised the day after an (e:strip) party. I think it had something to do with a certain zebra!I hope everyone had fun, enjoy! I was going to do some captions and what not but I am tired so here they are...

Most Wanted Unicorn

Has anyone seen this unicorn? He is on the lam evading police as we speak....he has been spotted around the elmwood area causing havoc and looking sexy!!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated...

What to be? What to be?- Halloween editi

So seriously me and (e:jill) have no idea what to be for halloween this year. We don't always go as things together like one year it was Captain Planet and the girl from the Royal Tennenbaums but we def plan it and find the stuff we need together. Sometimes we do coordinated like last years Starlight Express. But seriuosly we have been talking about it and thinking aobu tit nonstop and have come up with nothing! (e:mk) occassionally gets involved in the action too. We only have a few requirements, mainly that is glittery and if possible involves short shorts or underwear, is that too much to ask? Todya is our last chnace to day to find something though really we always come up with it wihthin like 3 hours of the first haloween party and it is usually pretty fab. Lets take a look back at the last few years for inspiration:

I couldn't find a better picture of my fraggle costume. I know somehwere there is a picture of me as a fraggle hunched over the toilet from way too much drinking but I can't find it... 2005

wind up doll and cymbal playing monkey. That was very last minute. I actually worked til like 8 pm that night and had to put most of it together right before the party. I had to buy a huge stuffed monkey we had at work and cut off its head for a mask. It was very sad and traumatizing. My mom restuffed and sewed it though and I gave it to charity but ti was so sad to see it sitting there dead. 2003
