Being a brat

When I think about what a brat I can be sometimes... When things don't go my way or someone lets me down... I'm disappointed in myself.

I really have such an amazing life and family and friends.

Reading about and seeing the destruction and devastation from the typhoon in the Philippines, puts it all into perspective. These people have no homes, and the streets are filled with bodies, and fragments of buildings which were their homes. I can't imagine that kind of loss. My heart really goes out to them, it's humbling to see people survive such tragedy.

I am so happy I am able to come home to Blo again and see my babies and my brother and my sister in law... And of course my friends. I'm gonna hug errybody real tight! Partially also because its cold there and I'm a tropical baby now. :) It's still in the mid 80s here and it's so nice to go for a walk in shorts and a t everyday.

Liars

I have a revolutionary idea. People can be truthful instead of making shit up or withholding information.

I would rather get the truth however terrible than be deceived any day.

I'm coming home(again) bitches

Since I don't start work until the 25th and all I have going on here is my twice a week tutoring client and the gym twice a day.... I decided to go back to blo for a week. Mainly because I won't be able to do any traveling for a week because of training with the new job.

I had a red eye flight in and arrive Wednesday... I loathe the red eye. It will all be worth it to see those sweet little angel faces and get hugs and kisses!

Now I must come up with a workout and diet plan whilst I'm there because I seem to not have control of how much I eat when I'm in blo. :(

I was full for two days after I came home. I love being able to hike and be outside here so I'm just gonna have to bring bundled up workout gear and tread the pavement! Fall hiking anyone?

Surprise! Sort of...

(E:hodown) came to surprise me for my bday weekend extravaganza... It was a surprise until 10 minutes before she arrived. (E:Terry) casually mentioned it Thursday afternoon and I fact checked with my innocent and bad liar niece! What a fun weekend. Sisterz for lyfe.

Being in Buffalo

Is like being in a time warp... I didn't know what day it was until I checked the calendar. It's Thursday.

I am so tired from family daze and gay nights. It's probably one of the best combinations. :)

I think it's time to really amp up my food consumption... I need to taste a list of (e:Paul)'s top ten fave blo dishes... A tasting adventure!

Hangover interview

Being the most hungover you've been in months and having an interview is possibly the worst combination in the world. The only good side effect is not feeling at all nervous because I am currently just trying to live through the next hour of my life.

Never again.

Update: They seemed to love me... Keeping my fangas crossed!

My senior years

My last days are upon me... I'm 30 tomorrow. Time to officially lie about my age, since no one seems to think I could be 29.

Thirty is old as shit to me.... I better get a job offer this week so I can really celebrate.

I had four interviews last week... Lets go job offer! Hos need to werk, twerk, and get on the road to success.

I've been avoiding people because then I don't have to face the reality of 30. I have made the gym and exercise my best friend however. This seems to help relieve stress and the pain and intensity of a good workout gives me a break from the anxiety, woot.
