Being Miserable

My hair is falling out and my tooth is inflamed so bad I am going to need a redo on the root canal I got on my birthday last year and its Friday. I just got out of work and I'm still not done with all the work that needs to be done because I literally spent the entire day answering questions of every sort so that when everyone else was gone, I had to start my actual work.

On a positive note I get to go to Florida on the 22nd for a work conference. I the negative side, I found out about it so late and get acceptance even later that all the hotels were booked so I had to stay a 50 minute walk away. The only place that rents bikes is like 2 hours from there and none of the streets have bike lanes anyways. Guess I am going to hope for public transit or rent a car. I really don't want to rent a car but I am not sure how else it can go.

I just hope my tooth is resolved by then. I wish there was a 24 hour endodontist that took my health insurance.

Erica at the Piano

We went to see (e:czarcasm) at Nietsches openmic last night. She was fantastic. I especially liked her original song. It takes so much guts to just go do that.

Eating Seaweed - Is too much dangerous

I have become addicted to eating dried seaweed. I crave it like nothing else but apparently its another thing you should only eat in moderation. Its worse than any drug addiction.

Iodine

Eat a serving of dried seaweed, and you consume 6,720 percent of the daily recommended intake of iodine. While your body requires iodine for the healthy function of your thyroid, too much is a bad thing. Consuming a serving of seaweed occasionally will not harm your health, but taking in this food regularly may lead to the development of thyroid conditions, including cancer.

I have had about 10 servings this week, I think. Crap.

Check out this table from

I have never seen an artichoke as big as the ones at the coop right now.

Flappy Birds

The worst and probably most stressful 2 hours of my life. I seriously could not get to 10. In the end (e:joe) had to hold my finger and do it for me. It is now uninstalled. I hope the developer dies.

We were all so helplessly addicted.

Diannes Birthday

On Monday night we celebrated (e:Dianne)'s 40th birthday. I actually broke out the grill to cook 10 NY strip steak in freezing weather. It was so cold but the food was so delicious. (e:joe) likes the way I smell when I eat beef despite being a vegetarian. He says I smell like summer.

It was one year ago (e:paul,57891) we met on your birthday. You will always be a special person in my life. Glad we got to share the evening with you and Mickey, some super fudgey brownies and best of all some hot twin 80 y/o female dutch prostitutes. Woof!
