Some pictures - old and new
I decided to wear a tie.
We were cleaning up our den today in order to move a much bigger desk for me into it when someone found this old CD of data from my old blueberry ibook abck in 1999. On it were a lot of pictures I cannot post but these ones, I can post.
Here is one of (e:terry) from our bedroom in Germany. He looks crazy. The photo was named crazy man, in german.
Oh, I miss the endless skies and warmth of arizona ;(
How super apple fanboy gay is this. I am almost embarassed. We took this with our webcam back in 2000.
One time we needed a place to live because we had just moved to Germany and didn't know anyone, so we put up these signs everywhere with our name/email. Notice the lack of much information. It led to us finding somewhere though.
Here are some picture of (e:terry) and Ronnie Deleski - she was one of our really good friends from Arizona who then also went to school in Germany and visited us there.
Okay, this one is insane - I don't really remember the details but I am pretty sure Ronnie and (e:terry) were very drunk and silly youths at the time.
(e:terry) and I in our room
(e:terry) looking young and cute back in 1999 when our apartment was 15x9 with three of us living there. We had to roll up our futon bed in order to use the oven. It did have a walk in tiled shower though.
(e:terry) looking strong

New TV, old roomate, boston market
HD moveis are redic expensive. Like $40 and the BBC Earth movie (e:matthew) wanted was like $100 in HD. Unfortunately/fortunately, we don't have an HD or bluray player because we went with the Xbox instead of the playstation 3. What a stupid mistake that was. Playstation has built in wifi, built in power brick and blueray player. I think we are going to sell the Xbox and get one. A blueray player is $399, a playstation 3 is $399. Who buys just the bluray player? I also hear dthe playstation was silent compared with the really load xbox.
Now the room is covered in visually animated surface areas. This is the view from my computer station.
So the TV has already caused major drama as (e:matthew) wanted to watch a movie and our roommate was watching the new TV and has a cold in our den - which sent (e:matthew) over the edge because he wantedt o play with his new toy and me over the edge because you know how I am about sick people in my spaces. Well at least some of you do.
Most of all, I hate it when (e:matthew) is angry, it makes me angry. Eventually, the doorbell rang and I didn't want to get it because I thought it was the beginning of a full evening of interpersonal drama that would have made him angrier.
(e:matthew) said don't answer it, roomie answered it. Roommate yells he doesn't want to hear the doorbell ring, I yelled then move out. Then he answers the door, (e:matthew) goes ballistic - roommate gets 30 day notice. At now maybe we can just live in peace. I feel bad in a way because he was not a bad roommate but we just don't want one anymore. I am over the whole feeling guilty with too much space thing and I want to take over that bathroom again. It will be so nice to have two showers again and an extra bathroom for guests. Like this morning (e:matthew) and I had to be at work at the same time.
So I am done teaching the PHP class for the week. I think it went pretty awesome. I hope that the people in the class enjoyed it as well.
I really wanted a projector more than a TV. I guess TV first projector later. Projectors rocks. Imagine projecting outside for fun. Are their laws against it. You could have guerilla projecting campaigns.
Okay, food - does anyone else like Boston Market. I love it but I really kind of hate all the plastic so we barely ever go there.
I bought more of those yummy gummi bears (e:paul,43051)

Globat.com is a ripoff - beware
You suck. Your hosting company sucks. Stop pretending that people like the woman on the front of your website really work their in your customer service dept when it is really all non-native english speakers.
You basically have fucked my stuff up so many times. I hope your company goes out of business.
It makes me so angry that you pretended to put me in collections and then offered to get my account out of fake collections with the promise I pay now and get my files. Then you go ahead and delete my files. Th e only reason I was in collections for so much is because you autorenewed me for a service I never even signed up for.
You guys have no idea how much trouble I have had with them (e:paul,32201)
I spent hundred of hours on the phone with what I thought was india but now I am thinking is stupid eskimos when I used to host estrip at globat. I hate you globat, I hope your data center blows up and all your customers sue you.
That is exactly what happend to me
Don't get Globat just because they offer low price. You will find fees start adding up and ends up costing more than other hosting service. Read the fine line!!!! Don't get screwed by these guys. For example you have to follow their cancellation policy or you end up paying $286.00 panalty and collection fees.http://www.webhostingjury.com/reviews/Globat

New Monitor
Secondlife is really quite amazing at 1900 pixels tall
Same with zend studio
The more I think about it, the more I think we should have these at work. Even cheap large secondary monitors. Being able to see this much code makes it so much easier to program. Considering, that monitors that big cost < $500 it would take such a small amount of time to make up that cost in saved man hours. I mean they pay me a lo to scroll up and down and flip between tabs all day when you think about it.

Also, reminder to self - go out for Mardi Gras next year - everyone else had so much fun. Last year I went out with (e:mike,38281) There is no reason to do anything else next year.

A message from a guest
Wow I couldn't believe this. Last year Christmas 2006 I had to pick my son up in Buffalo. On the way to Lexington Ave. to pick him up I had to go to the Bathroom. I at the time was 58 years old and was really in need of a restroom. I stopped at the Wilson Farms because it was open. They would not let me use their facilities on Christmas and sent me to the BlockBuster across the street. Unfortunately BlockBuster wouldn't let me use their facilities either. Thank God for Brinks. My only regret is that I didn't buy a round of drinks for the good people there that were very welcoming on Christmas.
I think maybe it was in reference to (e:news,29677) from back in 2003 but actually I have no idea.
