Junior League Show House

(e:Joe) and I toured the Junior League show house this afternoon with my mom. I actually prefer to see the "before" version although both version are interesting.

The last time we toured this house it was crammed full of stuff by some horders. They had knickknacks upon knickknacks. I think I even remembered them having stuff stacked on top of their blender on the kitchen counter.

The house is interesting but the 1.5 million dollar asking price seems so extraordinarily out of proportion to the current market. I mean it's nice but it's not 1.5M nice. I guess we will see. I think it seems more in the 800k range.

This is the exact flooring I want for our porch instead of the plain concrete.

Eating Small Fish - Sardines

Small fish taste so good but they are such a time sink to gut and there are so many freaking bones. I wish I lived somewhere near the ocean that they just had them precooked for like $2.00 at a stand.

Teaching Terry To Program

We spent two late evening doing triad programming (like pair programming but with three people) with (e:terry) on the big screen. It was fun watching him learn. I think he could be a great programmer. The program converted a file from one accounting system export to another accounting system input format.

The first night we had we had him programming in the terminal. One evening two we switched to a text editor. I think text editor was a better approach but it's neat to let him so how it worked at the most basic level.

It's so damn cold out there. We walked to the coop and I was wearing dress clothes clothes still. I think I got frost dick because my pants were so thin. I hate winter.

Raving In Buffalo - Datsik Town Ballroom - Rave 3.5 Waiting Room

Wednesday night at Town Ballroom was awesome. Its crazy how big electronic music has gotten again. The place was packed wall to wall.

Then on Friday night there was another event a Dnipro and last night at The Waiting Room it was so packed we waited in line for an hour and never made it in. They turned people away because they hit capacity.
