Thursday at the Harbor - Wolfpack

We went to the harbor. The music was awesome. While there, we saw a kid with a wolfpack shirt on and I thought it was awesome. Turns out it's the St. Bonaventure mascot and there is tons of wolfpack stuff online.

23 North Almost Gone

I get that it was a disaster but it seems weird to have "danger asbestos" signs up and then use little to no safety gear. It was a serious cloud on our way to work. They were spraying water on one side but so much dust was coming out the other side that I could barely get photos. I feel really bad for the people that live in the Linnore. The smell must be awful.

23 North St Destroyed

The yellow painted, red brick mansion at 23 North street collapsed. The roof totally caved in bringing down everything with it. I am pretty sure it won't be long before the bulldozers are in.

I know the house was in disrepair when the current owners bought it and propsed luxury appartments in 2006 (e:paul,32592) but they seriously let it get so much worse. Like the gaping hole in the roof that just stayed open for a couple years and pretty much sealed the deal on the current situation.

Bye house. I wonder what the property will become?

The New Ulrich's - Artichoke and Spinich Panini

Went to the new Ulrich's for lunch yesterday with (e:Joe) and Greg. I really liked my panini and the French Onion soup I had. They had a ton of vegetarian options. I added the menu for your viewing pleasure.

1st Anniversary

It seems unbelievable that it's been a whole year since (e:terry) and I got married. That's to everyone who helped make it such a special day.

It's weird to even celebrate a single year when I feel like we have been married since we started dating 15 years ago.

I love you so much terry. Here is to one very amazing year and many more to come. I hope I die first so that I never have to live without you.

Squid Eggs Sacks and Babies In Provincetown

While we were here we kept some squid ( Loligo pealei) eggs in a water bottle to watch them hatch. They are the cutest freakin things with their tiny little eyes and wings. I wish we had a way to grow them into full adults at home.

There are millions of their egg pods that washed up on the beach. They look like clear bags of caviar but there is a squid inside each little egg in the sack. Eventually they break out and swim around.

Torso Town, USA

I have never chatted with so many torsos in my life. For such an openly gay town, you think people would show their faces. My thoughts, butterface.

Yet having gone to the nude beach enough now, its interesting to see how many people are hot in every way but their face. Nude beaches are their paradise.

The Creepiest Doll

They have the creepiest dolls as the Provincetown Museum by the tower. I got a snapshot of this one to use as my phone's lock screen.

Moby Dick's

The hurricane is putting a damper on the weather so we went to Moby Dick's in Wellfleet via car.

The food and atmosphere was really good and we made it before the crowds got there for dinner.

I had some amazing Wellfleet oyster on the half shell and crab cakes that were made of pretty much just lump crabmeat.

They even had a veggie burger for (e:Joe) and a tasy chicken sandwich for (e:terry). Strangely, the veggie burger came on a gluten free bun by default and they gave him the option to switch it out for a traditional wheat roll. Oh how times are changing.

After dinner (e:Joe) and I threw ourselves in the hurricane Aurthur ocean. We only went a little way out and I can see how you would die if you went any further. Its amazing the strength of the waves.
