Dear Paul From 2007

I wrote this gem back in 2007 when my tenants decided to have friends live with them and then tried to make me collect parts of the rent from each of those sub tenants.

Before I renew everyone's leases for August I just wanted to make it clear that I am not running a rooming house and that the rent for the apartments is for the total apartment regardless of how many tenants reside inside... From now on I need all rent checks in one envelope either in the mailbox or at my residence by the 5th of the month. I am tired of having to track down individual tenants for their portion of the rent. If I do not receive the full amount of rent for the apartment you will collectively have not fulfilled your rental obligation and will be subject to penalties for late payment (as laid forth in your lease). This will be strictly enforced - failure to comply will result in eviction.

Its like I never learned from my mistakes as I was much less hardcore with my new crop of tenants. Here we are on August 22 and I still don't have rent for one of my apartments because they are having some sort of mixup about who owes what.

This year I made zero dollars and heading towards the minus quickly.

Starting in october I am switching to a property management company. I am so tired of this shit.

Tk's Fashion Show

Saturday was Tk's fashion show at Club Sinful. This show was a lot more classy than the last one but they both had their own kind of appear.

The club was set up with a runway down the center and seating on both sides. We got VIP passes which gave us free well drinks and champagne along with some Kettle One drinks and h'ordeurves. Strangely, the food was delicious but so mini, like quarter size potato pancakes for the Patrons while the models were fed fatty, carby delicious pizza upstairs.

ALl of the videos are 640x480 because I forgot to change the size to HD.

Basra the Sulcata Drinking From Hose

Gatur's Ethiopian on Allen Street

Last Wednesday we had an amazing lunch at Gatur's on Allen Street. We managed to order almost every item on the menu including all of the appetizers and all of the desserts but I only snapped this one pic because I was stressing about work and (e:tinypliny) was already taking pics.

The picture is the vegetarian platter. I also had the lamb tibs which was totally amazing. In fact I am pretty sure I want it for lunch again this week.

Swimming at Windmill Point Quarry in Fort Erie

We make the trip to Canada all the time to go swimming at Windmill Point because the water is so clear. We go so much that this time we had 2 free swims from the frequent swimmer pass.

The difference was this time the water was so full of algae I could barely see my feet underwater. Last year we came for (e:Terry)'s birthday at the same time of year and it was was clear then.

Road Kill Illusion

A while back I took this picture of some road kill mashed into the ohio street bridge. I swear, I did not photoshop this in any way but it looks like a woman with a beehive hairdo looking up. I'm not even sure what part of the bird that is.
