Papaya on Chippewa

The food there is so good. Last night (e:yesthatcasey) and I ate there for dinner. I had the seafood Pad Thai for dinner and a peanut butter creme brule dessert that was amazing.

Cloudberries

I had the best dream about food ever. It was about cloudberries. Unfortunately, they are not real. Well there are in fact cloudberries but not the delicious marshmallow/bread like pod ones I envisioned in my dream.

They were so amazing. Basically a long pod like a peapod but larger that had a brown husk. Inside of it were the cloudberries like peas in a pod, but longer like beans and fluffier. Each one was the consistency of a only slightly stale easter peep with a yellow/brownish colored surface that resembled perfectly baked bread. They had the most delicate sweet flavor with a hint of vanilla.

In the dream we were caught by authorities for stealing some wild cloudberries which was illegal because they were supposedly endangered. As I walked away from the ranger, I saw him eating the stash he confiscated from me. I confronted him and told him I thought he was just trying to scare me away so he could eat them all. He agreed and laughed.

Nightime Bike Ride

Its nice to be able to bike ride at nighttime with a tee-shirt on and not be freezing. However, I was getting tired of all the bugs that wanted to fly in my mouth and my nose.

O3 on elmwood

Finally went to O3 on elmwood. The food was delicious albeit slightly pricier than my usual lunch spots. In turn you get some really fresh organic food.

Unforunatly, I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my entre. I got the Italian tuna wrap with capers. It was so good and came with some yummy blue corn chips. We also got a house salad. (e:terry) got a Baja chicken wrap special.

On the way out I got some honey fig chocolate truffles and a chocolate chip cookie to go as dessert.

I would totally go back.

Hiking at Zoar

We went a different way and started at the other parking lot and headed toward the confluence. The police were out in full force checking for people drinking. The police Guy had on the coolest shoes. Thy had mesh bottoms to let the water out.

We caught he cutest baby snake. It was so friendly.

The biggest banana

This is the biggest banana I have ever seen. I thought it was worth a picture but the picture doesn't do it justice.

The bike trail and pesticides

I find it so strange that they spray pesticide on the new bike trail between dugs dive and Gallagher beach. Its sick because the geese were eating right out of it and the runoff goes directly into the water ways.

The composition of most of it is nothing like grass anyways. Its the typical, natural mix of local weeds. The little yellow signs were all over the place.
