Stardust returns to dust

I thought this might mean something to (e:terry) - growing up in Vegas and all. Stardust is no more.

Neosporin Induced Insanity

I had this cut in my mouth and decided to put neosporin on it despite the for external use only warning. I had the craziest most vivid dreams ever. I wonder if it is related. I could easily become a neosporin junky if it is related.

50 Court Street and Kick Snow

I went over downtown with (e:matthew) so that he could take pictures of the buildings in fog (e:matthew,793)

Looks like a giant new building is going to be erected at 50 court street which is way better than that nasty parking lot there now. The website is not so great. In fact, none of the links work in the main navigation, if you click the development link.

image

Their mockup on the sign outside is confusing because they have the Pearl st sign in the wrong spot. It should go Franklin then Niagara, not pearl and then Niagara St. I bet someone got paid a lot to make that design and I bet that they spent a lot to print them. You think someone would have checked the street names. I hope someone scrutinizes the building plans better than the media.

image

Here is the same spot currently.
image

They are taking the paint off the brick building that used to be club heat, and then was like ten other bars named after metals which then became tantra or something. That place is destined to never succeed. Maybe the paint is what was causing it to fail. The guy doing it, is doing it brick by brick with a blow torch.

First some paint removal liquid is applied.
image

And then he hits it with the blow torch.

I got some of my weather agression out on this ice formation.

Hurray, a fourth of my backyard is now snow free!

Sunny side of the street

I have more to talk about but I thought I would remark upon how great the weather is. I figure you can best tell by the crispness of my shadow.

Another Media Dump From Downtown

Last night, (e:lilho) and I took the subway to and walked home from the downtown Buffalo Athletic Club. Now that is dedication to being healthy (and to eye candy - which there was none of) It was so freakin' freezing I cannot even describe the feeling of really cold wind blowing down main street on a dark winter's night.

image

On the way home we had brought no money and had to walk. We couldn't even stop anywhere because we didn't even brings cards. It was strange to feel like I had nothing even if it was just during a 20 minute walk home to the mansion. I do not like the feeling of not having access to food money at all.

We jealously peaked in the window at spot and starred at all the mactoppers with yummy treats.

Today I made up for it by going with my work buddies and (e:megan) over to Chris' Deli at 395 Delaware Avenue. They were packed to the point we waited but it was totally worth it. I have never seen such tasty sandwiches.

I got the jerk turkey.
image

Everyone else had yummy stuff too.
image

image

When we got back jon had a blue screen of death on windows XP. It was so sad. I hate windows. In fact, I hate it so much that today I installed cygwin so I can have a bash shell on my windows box at work. No more stupid "dir" I was so sick of typing "ls" and having the computer say no.
image

Does anyone else have a secret love of kicking the crusty june snow? It is that part snow, part asphalt and cement chip stuff that never goes away until way late after winter is over. It is basically dirty snow that is combined with so many particles that it acts as a sort of adhesive between them. It is hard as rocks and when it breaks it cracks like glass sometimes. It is really fun to kick it.
image

This pole didn't like winter very much. Imagine if your skin peeled that much from weather exposure.

Emptying the Camera Out

Roswell uses way to much freakin' salt. I guess everyone does, and everyone is afraid of being responsible about someone falling but what about the responsibility to the environment.

We had another fun experience with the bubble maker in the house. I cannot wait to get myself a computer with video editing capabilities.

Thanks, (e:ladycroft) - I got my birthday gift from you via Carrey.

(e:hodown,332) - the post about her ex with the everything box made me think about one of my everything rooms - which contained this picture of me in 1999 when I was still cute. It is amazing how many everything rooms you can fill when you have them.

image

I also found a good pic of (e:terry)
image

And I found this picture of (e:jacob) from the late 90s early 2000s kissing someone else we know.

Today was the last day of (e:lilho) having her car. It was fun while it lasted.

I see these bumper stickers everywhere. What is up with the peace bridge. I think we should start a new campaign to just knock it down, lol.

I'm putting our bed on craigslist

(e:matthew) was looking at houses online and saw this one on Summer. A bit out of our price range at $699,900. I find it ridiculous that the taxes are supposedly assessed at $5,544.00. That means that they are asking way more than they bought it for. As an example, our taxes on our $200,000 house are the same. The taxes on a $700k house are more like $17K.

I wonder what happend with them. Maybe they just were flipping it but it turns out their bed is also for sale on craigs list for $7000. (e:matthew) found it during his furniture sleuthing

Two Unmarried Men

We got the search from the house in the mail today. I find it funny that they emphasize how unmarried we are.

Post Partum Depression

How does this website have the right to sell my picture. I guess I probably signed away the rights when they did the Buffalo new article a couple years ago?

image

Do you ever have postpartum depression with a project you didn't really like at first but then you worked on it feverishly and it became an obsession.

I have been working on this large scale employee evaluation system since the beginning of time it seems. Mostly, because I had to consistently wait for things to be ready and because i am not the owner of the data.

Anyways, it was so boring at first. I really hated the project and then slowly as it grew it became kind of fun. Now that the project is wrapping up I am having a hard time being done with it, because I keep feeling like I could polish it up some more.

I am sure they will find things that need to be done with it once it "hits the shelves" tomorrow so I am not that worried.

The next project up is porting (e:strip) over to roswell software. That should be a much bigger project. The fun part is I only have about 3 weeks to do it!!!! What is up with project management here?

Ona nother note, apparently (e:terry) is most fertile.

NOT taking a bath may improve a man's fertility - even though it might not endear him to his partner.

Another Food Journal

We saw this car with a silent service bumper sticker. I took a picture while driving because I wanted to remember to look it up. This is what I found . I don't believe that can be it because the license plate looked so official. It even had a miniture SS before the number. Maybe just NAZIs.

image

(e:lilho) flew on over to our house for our last homage visit to compusa before it closes, leaving Buffalo computerstoreless for the foreseeable future. Everything is 5-20% off right now. Mac stuff is only 5% off.
image

image

Here is (e:terry) looking oh so sad.
image

I was a typical visit to compusa, then we went to Michael's for (e:matthew) and lilho got her hawk on.

image

Then off to red pepper for dinner. Yummy vietnamese food.

image
Her fortune.
image

My fortune was broken
image
But good
image

Yummy Pho

image

Afterwards to feelright for some free goji juice tasting (WIKIPEDIA - Wolfberry)

It seems to cure everything including cancer, libido and weight problems, lol.

Vegans have it so easy nowadays.
