FiveV

It was so totally freakin' sucessful. Now I wish I invited more people. We took our clothing out to Hardware on Allen where the class went after the show. Cassie knew I was arriving because her jacket alerted her. I love it.

Lunch break

(e:terry) made sausage and corn for us. I shared my cob with basra. It is finally warm out in Buffalo, to bad I have to go to the dungeon (basement factory where the show is). Sang is going to come to the show tonight.

The Job - The Show

Tonight is the show for the fiveV project. I am so excited about it being done as my life can finally return to the regularly schedules program that it was.

Not Knowing Makes Me Insane
I still can't stop dreaming about job scenarios. Last night I was in germany working for t-mobile. In real life, Dmitri (the job recruiter) had called again about more jobs but I told him to hold off until June so that I could find out about the Canisius job. It is all I can think about right now.

Maybe I need to learn to not obsess and focus on things, but I guess that is the same strength I use to get stuff done. I mean, I already did everythign I can to make it happen, now it is just waiting to find out. I guess I need to realize that no matter what, I will find something great, so everything is going to be fine. I suppose it is really the $80,000 in student loans that is eating away at my sanity. Sometimes I question if I should have actually just gone for the Second Life job because it sounded so fun and because I probably would have known a lot sooner.

I will be posting throughout the day today about the show and the progress.

It's almost time

It's almost time till there are some new tech developments for the site. I can't believe grad school basically ends on Friday give or take a paper and some favors. I am so ready to begin the next portion of my life wherever it takes me.

Hopefully I will be teaching at Canisius. Then I will invest a lot of money into this com, unity site and make it much faster, cooler, easy to work with for me.

If not then something really wrong happend, because I am seriously qualified for the position - maybe then I will pursue my Italian citiizenship and go back to botany. I am convinced there is a career for me in vitaculture. I decided I am keeping my new user pic with the tie until I know either way. I am so anxious to find out. When I asked my Chair today how long it would take, I got the idea that at some point in May I would know, but not tomorrow or anything like that.

It has been a long ride since I first rode my bike to the job interview for multimedia specialist four years ago. I feel like I have been through so much in such a short period of time.

On another note, you should always get the house salad at Globe Market on Elmwood and I have a new friend named Cassie, she is pretty fun, although a little wild. I am trying to convince her to start a journal too.

UB recycles

I was over in the art department today to pick up the final radio chip for our project when I saw the. Read the signs and look at what's in the garbage. Could there me anything more paper product based than the phonebook?

Our electronics project finally works.

Cassie and I got our project working last night and then headed over to the Pink for my last Media Studies at the Pink night. Everyone was so drunk to welcome in the end of the semester.

My favorite part was the steak sandwich, for such a nasty little bar they have a really good grilled steak sandwich. We ordered it with onions and peppers, which didn't come. So Cassie complained and we got another one for free. Having two sandwiches made the price more reasonable as they are $9 each. But seriously, it's $9 of tastieness, or mayabe the tastiness arrives from drinking beer beforehand.

In like an hour we are going to go to the space and set up the show. Our project is all about portables so there isn't much set up, but cleaning up the dungeon will be a pain. It is in the basement of the factory at the corner of Auburn and Niagara St. 20 Auburn.

Happy Cinqo di Mayo. I will probably be out with everyone tonight after work, as long as, the project is totally ready to go.

Interview Part 2

I am writing this from the new Linux server I installed in my office. Soon students will be able to use it for production work. I had my final interview with the Dean today. It seemed to go quite well. I really hope that it all works out with this job, I have never been more excited about anything in my life.
