Nameless Person Complains

"Don't you have any judgmental what is good and bad..? I hoped at least you knew how to respect people. Nobody's gonna worry about whether that journal has been deleted or not. Right..? . . I want you to delete that journal immediately. " -- Nameless Person

I didn't write the pageseven journal, I am not deleting it, I asked whoever wrote it to please take it down because a nameless undefined person finds it overlly offensive in a canoodling kind of way. This is why people incorporate and don't do local community based things, because no one wants to deal with the crap from real community. I would kill for a business front and to be able to tell nameless person to send complaint letter to:

Estrip Customer Service
PO BOX 123
Buffalo, NY 14222
USA

P.S. Everyone should worry if I just starting deleting journals that other people wrote. It's kind of like if we only burned one book.

Angry former participant

Angry Former Participant,
The page seven journal was not written by the staff at elmwoodstrip.org. We regret to inform you that we will not be deleting it as it would be against our censorship policy. We have, however, as per your request, asked that the user who wrote it, politely take it down. As it does not mention you specifically, we have decided that conduct rule 4. "By becoming an (e:peep) you agree to not create and/or display (e:content) that includes personal information about a third party without their consent," does not exactly apply here.

As a partcipant in this socially networked public performance project, you were not a customer, you were a particpant. (e:peeps) (members of www.elmwoodstrip.org with (e:content) upload permissions) that partake in our non-commercial, social networking performance are always taking a risk when entering the public spotlight by starting a journal.

By removing the part of yourself (your (e:content)) that was your representative structure within the greater scheme of the site's social relationships, you have created a situation that other (e:peeps) are reacting to.

I can assure you that the sooner you leave the situation alone, the quicker it will fade into history.

(E:strip) Staff

Trademarks

This quote is so creepy but exactly what I need for my interactive clothing design project. It is the greatest description of trademark I have ever seen. Here is the full text. It is about trademarking the fragrance logo

The trademark of a company, symbolised by its logo, is a concentration of information that allows the product to be identified among other similar products often of similar quality. A trademark is a capital for a company because it eases communication between the company and the consumer. It gives the consumer faith in his choice, social status and personal satisfaction when using the product. The existence of a trademark allows the company to optimise its marketing budget, increase profit margins, put pressure on the distribution network, and gives it an advantage over it's competitors. The creation of a 'capital trademark' takes time and calls for serious investment but is more than justified by the advantages that it generates. A logo is the physical aspect of a brand name and expresses the values of the company and its image.

Valentino needs to go to the clinic

Valentino [search]valentino[/search] the baby tortoise really has an eye infection. At first I thought he was dry, gave him lots of baths, but now he itches his eyes like a human baby with pink eye. So I had to make an appointment for Saturday at 11:15 with Dr. Shadler atthe Sheridan Small Animal Hospital in Tonawanda.

I had been there before with a toroise of mine a long itme ago, and she was able to care for it really well. This was back in 1995. I hope Valentino quickly recovers. I hate to see him with his eyes shut all the time. It looks so sad, plus he has a hard time figuring out where to bit when he is eating. It is like raising a blind tortoise.

Sunny Day

It is so nice and sunny. The snow is going away but now it is replaced with mud. We are still a long way from green but it's nice to see the sun.

This picture inspired the new colors.
