Hiking At 18 Mile Creek

Friday afternoon was warm. Not as warm as Wednesday but warmer than today. (e:joe) and I went hiking for a bit to celebrate the temperature. The creek was a kind of disgusting mixer of runoff and sewage. At least it smelled like it. The head of the trail also had what looked like the remnants of a former garbage dump or illegal dumping ground. It was still nice to just be outside. We even saw bugs.

Their food is so delicious, we went on the way home from the botanical gardens. I ate lamb over bacon infused lentils.

Botanical Gardens

Last Sunday it was still freezing but the temperature in the botanical gardens was amazing. I love it there and wish it was in Delaware park instead. This time they also had farm animals. The baby chickens were so cute but not as cute as the tiny quails in the Rochester conservatory.

Shower Fix

I had to uninstall and reinstall a new water mixer in our shower because the idiots that did our bathroom remodel screwed it up the way they screwed up everything.

They basically installed it such that the water mixer was at a weird angle which caused to much resistance on the hot cold dial.

They had also done such a bad job with the sealant.

Its back to working.

Broadway Market Take Two

We headed back to the Broadway market and ate a lot. I wish there was an Italian market like that.

The place was so packed you could barely move. You could hear the terrified screams of the butterlambs knowing their time was up.

The broadway seafood market had the largest lobster tail I ever have seen.

Target Meat

I never buy the meat at target because it looks like it's soaked in a ton of dye.

Nothing says it better than the label, "color is not an accurate measure of freshness."
