Upcoming Outer Harbour and stuff

So going to see Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper on Friday I think the last concert I saw was Alice Cooper... With the early gate time I'm off work for the entire day... I admit still not 100% sure how to get there so may be a tad early... There is like a water taxi that I've never caught that I'll just pay for... Hey I don't mind getting a little lost on the way during day light hours or taking a long walk... But post show don't want to be doing that... Then of course from Canal side still gotta get from there to a bus but that shouldn't be to bad..... But when ever first doing something there is some nervousness and there will be for sure... Just wish I was sure I could take my camera so I could get some shots at least... I would have loved to see GunsNRoses but the gate and start time was way to late would not have made it home ? But it will be fun... But there is oddly another thing to be nervous about a bit.. How close to the stage... I want to see good but don't want a crowd surfer to come from behind or a pit to open up .......

Not being able to drive is tough some times it weighs on your mind... Yeah it is good to know I can do this and I can't do this and maybe this I can... But this isn't only about driving it is about other stuff as well... Knowing that you wish you could or should be able to but can't can get a person or me down... I was going to write more but kinda lost my train of thought .........

Friday Skiffle 6-7-2013

I admit I haven't seen Skiffle Minstrels in some time... One time they moved the time another time oops that is today , artic winds and not sure what else but it was great to get back... Just one set though for me I ate heavy at lunch so couple of strong drinks and what I could get picture wise couldn't bring big camera really this time so.....

2013 few artfest

So these pictures aren't really in order I had Lloyd's for lunch instead of Dinner but that is ok it was great ....

I'm not sure if the Religious people if they where there to just spread the message that is my think not not boycotting or maybe I just couldn't hear them yell... I think there was still a lot of cool art even if it isn't my thing.....

Trinity Church 2013

So The light in there is very strange no idea maybe it is that light goes through different parts of the glass differently but caught it the best that I could with the water Camera

Didn't really get though that the RED house had music going also and there was some dancing going on.....

Pride 2013

My Computer kicked me off the internet mid post so I had a problem so I added the " " and just wanted to say It was great to see everyone and hoping some more pictures show up on here.......

So to be honest there is a part of me that is sorry I didn't go down to the waterfront I mean I still could but... Hide out under a tree I don't know what I was thinking .....

Maybe the intensity of that corner or that I'm a bit tired factored in I should really take a bit of a nap... In any event here are a ton of photos from the Parade......

So Not sure how the 2 videos I took came out hoping to get them up sometime today but Youtube seems to take so long... I did go out last night but not sure how to put those up so many... So I figured start with the pre parade photos...... Oh It was great to see everyone all... I maybe should have gone down to the waterfront but all ready pretty intense and lots of sun so.....

2013 Dyke March

It was worth it to a get a little bit wet

I tried to just watch the March and just snap away with my water camera hope they look good....

It was also bigger then I remembered .....

So ran into an internet problem in middle so pictures are all whacky order..... so this is EDITED a couple times ? Also sorry that I had the camera on large size instead of medium or maybe even small .....

Well that is pretty good Tonight is the thing at Nitetches Dyke Tracy and may get some photos up of that but guessing that will be an after pride thing we shall see enjoy everyone...

Happy Pride and stuff....

So Pride Buffalo has all ready started some event at Cobblestone tonight and they had the 5Gay Run or something last night... To me Pride isn't about being gay although yes that is the entire reason for it... But to me it is about not being judged for whom you are.... At the very least to be treated the same......

Dammit what ever happens I'm going to have fun somehow... I have been having some issues lately argh... I don't know how much I would really say on here... But let me tell you waking up and feeling depressed about ones life isn't fun.... I've been trying to get my place in shape before the bed bugs... I think they are all gone... But just cause I haven't been bit and I haven't seen them doesn't mean that... But taking a chance and going out or at least I plan to Niechtez see some strip teasers and bands and take photos... Hope to not miss the dyke march like my stupid ass did last year ..... Yes I still have a lot of work to do on my place so it can be sprayed assuming my land lord was telling the truth argh.. Just want to nap...... There is a part of me that just wants to toss everything out.... Minus Pictures and Art on walls, and tapes.....

Rain might be going on both days so gotta go see what is up with my water camera .... But the plan is to hopefully go to Elmwood and North someone I know is having a Protest the Protester thing not sure if it will be like 2 people or 70.. I can't be yelling and screaming but would be a good perspective for photos again who knows what will happen... I don't see my self going to the pride things that are like in allentown and the marina ....

Also it is the Greek Festival I never go to that.... Enjoy those that do... Also that games thing for the vets is going on as well.... So enjoy everyone ......

Now I know who you were talking about! The counter protesters who were organized were awesome. Loved their presence. I think it makes a difference. From the perspective of being in the parade it is really awful to encounter them. I really tried as much as I could to shield children from their hateful messages. I don't think I ever want to do any more counter protesting but I'd encourage other people to do it and to find better ways of drowning out their megaphones. I wonder if there is something you could hold in front of it that redirects it back at them?

The thing with the bugs is part of something I've all ways had trouble with it seems and that is getting the good balance ... Like how far away from walls and that kind of thing.. Hoping to get to a point where I can ask land lord hey come look at this soon we shall see.......

I'm pretty sure that wasn't on any of our minds that day, just sort of something that unfolded. Anyways, I should get my stuff up, the little that I got.

Sorry to hear you are still having a hard time. I'm pretty sure I'd have a complete break down if I had to deal with what you have been. I wish you all the best in getting everything in shape to have it sprayed. Glad you aren't getting bitten anymore but you should definitely have a professional verify that they are gone just to be on the safe side.
