So Maybe this Saturday with Football and The Start of the Bandits Seasaon (1st home game) I may get a movie in, I never got one in last weekend with the Sabres Game and football. I don't want to see to many movies only Avatar in 3d, Daybreakers, Sherlock Holmes, and The Book Of Eli, also if it is out anywhere "The Road". Well here are pictures from the sabres game I have a feeling it is going to a a lot of them and that is just from warm ups we shall see.





































































































Well Looks like it is game on. It was an odd game I didn't think the sabres would mount a comback but in the end they did and it wound up being a great game. It is all ways a good time.

Just wanted to mention that is anyone wants to see more of these pictures they are on my webshots page, I guess the best way not sure to veiw them all is in a slide show but not sure about that cause there sure are a lot more then there are here (not that anyone would want to see that many of them)





































































































































Between the 2nd and 3rd Period they had a shoot out contest for high schools I forget the school and then yes I got more food, I was thirsty so decided to get pizza also.



















































I can admit I have no idea how many pictures I have in this post or how good the game is represented but I'm getting tired of posting pictures so I'm going to jump to the shoot out that followed an sudendeath overtime. For anyone who reads this and doesn't know how it works is. That each team has five players (I think 5 and not 3) and they each get a shot on net and the team who scores the most wins. Yes you can win in less then five shots by the way. you can get to a point where the other team can't catch you then you win the easy way would be if they don't score and your ist 3 guys do then even if there last 2 got gaols they would lose so the shoot out ends if one team can't catch up to the other. If that ends up a tie then they go to a Sudden Death Format. The Way that works is round 6 starts and one team goes and if they score then the other team gets a chance to match them. But as kinda in baseball if the first team goes and the shot is saved and the 2nd team goes and scores then it is all over. It is fun to watch and this was put in as a way to make it more fun for the fans. Maybe the rule has changed but shoot outs are only in regular season play, in the playoffs I think you play a full overtime period but not sure If I'm correct about that.



































The Avalanche won. I had a good time. One thing I need to remember is to watch the game and take pictures with the camera. Often times you start to watch the game through the camera. Hey if it was a 10 times zoom that would be awesome as I would get a better view. I just wish I would have got those Jr. Sabres split club things. By the way there sure are a lot of hot ladies selling those, not saying they are all hot but some of them are pretty nice. Well here are a few pictures of me after the game.

So One of the odd things about writting a Blog is you don't really know if or who reads or if no one reads it. For anyone who might be looking at mine the two previous ones are pictures from the New Years Party at (e:PMT)'s, it was a lot of fun and again thanks to everyone. This post though is about hockey. First of all I want to say that I love the Winter Classic Idea and before they started this really Enjoyed the Heriatage Classic, it is a great Idea and I hope they keep doing this one game outside for a long time, I think it would be easy to over due it one game a year keeps it special. If you are a hockey fan with the olympics there will be a lot of great hockey to watch. I hope that the NHL is able to build off that and that it makes the NHL Better.

Again not sure who saw Birthday Parts 1 and 2 but this is part 3. When I saw the Sabres where playing my secondary Hockey team the penguins I knew I wanted to go, but the game before or after my birthday, hey why not both. So On Tuesday I went to see the Penguins play the sabres again and This time Buffalo wore the "New" "Old style" uniforms. They started out getting behind quick but changing to Lalme (how ever you spell that) changed the game around and they came back and won. So here are a bunch of pictures including warmups and the game and maybe even some food and things. It was a great Gift to my self from myself.

I may have my Pop Culture Info I little bit Wrong here but, the blonde is an Actress from the show Glee. I think her name is Heather. Now this is the part I'm not sure of she was in Buffalo and doing stuff like teaching dance or something I kinda think she is from the area since she was at a Sabres Game and on Local Radio maybe someone who watchs the show like (e:drew) would know. Glee is a great show but I have only seen it like twice.





































































Well I feel that , that is enough pictures so you get the idea and so I can remember the game. It was a great time. My next sabres game is less then a week away Sat. Night. Hoping that I don't need to work so maybe I can do some go see a movie or two and go to a game thing. Hope someone enjoyed the shots.

So when the sabres schedule came out this year I saw that the penguins played Buffalo before and after my birthday so wasn't sure if it would be better to go before or after so I decided to go to both games. The Sabres lost in a shoot out, but that is ok since the penguins are my secondary team. But the one I jumped on after the game was 25% of Jerseys and some other Items. Yes this is my first Sabres one. Is it cheap no, but a lot less then it was before.

Not sure how well that video is on the eyes. It looked pretty cool in person but on my camera once you start a movie you can't zoom in so. But you get the general Idea.

Watching Hockey in person is a lot of fun it really is. The way I lookedd at last nights game is that the sabres started out bad. There was a time when we had 2 shots and they had 2 goals in the 1st period. Yes the back up goalie was in but it just didn't look like the same team. Then you had times when they played great and charged the net. I still say way to much passing on the power play. I say blast or fake the blast and wrist shot it in then out play them for the rebound, as you put guys in front of the net. It just seemed like when we played good we couldn't score, maybe it was great goaling also. Not doing anything with a two man advantage for 2 mintues hurt us to. We would score and then here they would come and score again. Here are some pictures from warm ups.

For those of you who don't know there is a new Sabres logo that was sliped onto the internet. It isn't offical and from what i have read sabres officals have not confirmed it as there logo. There are a lot of people who don't like it, me being one of them. I like the current jersys and the old style and would even like to see a modernisation of the old jersys but the new symbol is yuck to me. if you want to check it out go to.


The sqaure was a lot of fun I liked both Burning Paris and Jeff Martin they both where preaty good. It was a great time and I was only a little bit distracted by the ladies and general sournings. Hopefully I will have pictures up sometime this weekend. But Havn't downloaded them. The one thing I didn't like about Burning Paris is that Rob Bilson can really sing but it seems like he was holding back or that the music wasn't writen for him to really sing like he can. Wish I knew how to explain it better. Oh yeah in the papper I saw canal fest is going on and so is the Itailin fest. I gotta check out the itailin fest.

Last night I listened to and watched some of the Sabres, glad they won. The Fans where chanting USA. There are a lot of fans who thought Miller should have made the Olympic Hockey team, I'm one of them. That remindend me that the olympics start a week from tonight. If memory serves they are on NBC, USA, CNBC, MSNBC and is there one more oh yeah then there is the Canadian coverage also. I saw one comerical during wrestling that said that Team USA hockey will be covered on USA and it will be Commerical free. That is truely awesome. I assume they will have ads on between period breaks. But anyone who likes Hockey should check into it. Hopefully I will see you all or some off you on saturday. It would be a cool Bonus if coles is showing the Sabres game. So if I'm a little distracted on sat. sorry, or if your a chick just hit me or something but not on the arm that I have a drink or food or something in.

The winter olympics are coming up in feb. The hockey should be verry good. I don't know the time differance for italy. But it may mean that the primetime coverage isn't live. If that is the Case tehn watch it on the Candian Chanel. Yes they do center stories on the Candian Athletes but that way you can watch it live. I remember at one of the other games there was an olympic concert series. On american TV they would show one song. But On CTV or is that CFTO I forget they would show the entire concert live. There really where some good ones. I havn't looked it up on line yet but for those of us in Buffalo or other places that get both coverages check out the Candian and compare it. If you want to know only about the Americans then NBC will be just fine. But I think if you want to see all of one sport CTV may be better. I'm not saying to write off NBC but watch both. I know CTV covered Live 8 much better then MTV.

I will be watcing the sabres in a minute or two. I hope they win But I'm also a penguins fan, so if they lose it won't be so bad. I like to multi task and watch TV and listen to the game it is a cool way to do things.

I found this blog through nhl.com it sent me to the Sabres site. It is there starting goalie Ryan Miller's blog. I read a couple of his posts. I was there looking for hockey pictures. I would love to post some pictures of goalies making saves or being burnt or comitting roberies in net. I did think about going to last nights game. I spent money buying food and wrestling DVD's on line and I finaly bought my hatebreed ticket so I figured i had spent plenty of money so I would watch the game for free. I think the next game on TV is wendsday I think it is a special game in Rochester. I noticed some great seats open at last nights game. I don't know if they where open cause people where getting food or couldn't make it, but I would love to sit that close. One of my goals this year is to go to a game and take some pictures and even if they are crappy post them. Sports pictures (for me atleast) are very tough to take. Digital Delay is hard to guess at. For example a car is 20 feet away the camara sees it then you see it on the screen then you press the button then by that time the car might only be 10 feet away (based on how fast it is moving) then you press the button the camara waits takes the picture and the car is a foot away. I guess it is like throwing a pass you don't through the ball to where the reciever is, you pass it to where he is going to be. For me it is complete guess work some pics come out great and some not so great or at least not what I was trying to get.

This is a badly taken picture of a picture of Niagara Falls from the i think 1998 but i thought it might be older then that but it says 98 at the bottom of it. It is kinda a retrospective. Maybe I should have gone to see the wall at the knox yesterday. Oh well pregame starts soon.
