e:ladycroft's Graduation Party

Even though I allways read (e:ladycrofts) post for some reason my brain thought it was the going away party, I don't know how I could make a dumb mistake like that. My quick reflection is that I had a good time and was out side for most of it. The party seemed very segregated though. It was like (e:peeps) only outside at the fire and then other people inside or on the porch or dancing. The few times I went down there (not to dance really) it seemed like there where few people there and I couldn't really take a picture of only two people. That being said I had a great time and it was very nice.

Car mentioned in a previous Post.

For those who have been there before you might notice something different. This is one cool piece of art I think.

Missing Image ;(

These picture I know won't be in the exact order but they will give a general sense of the party. When I got them printed they looked pretty cool some of them. There where a few that where really dark but you could still see the people but with my picture viewer you can't so I did a little bit of touch up and they will be here somewhere.

In those fire pictures above I'm not sure how visable the (e:peeps) are I know on my photos in my album they look cool and once I publish this I hope they look cool to, or looked cool since you will have allready seen them when you (or if) you read this.

In case you couldn't tell it is tough to get both a good view of the fire and the people and you kinda have to pick what one you want to see (or atleast with my camera). If you use the flash then when it lights everything up then you can barely see the fire and when you use the fire as the light source (ever changing) then it makes it tough to see the people.

These last 3 should be the bonus ones or well not really bonus but weird looking altered ones.

It was nice to talk with the (e:peeps) I talked to (I said more then one word to carey). I know I had a good time I hope everyone else did and no one felt out of place. Is is one kinda thing that was kinda awakard looking back on it, but I won't really touch on it here. All I had to do was really say a few words, but it is no big deal. I did meet someone who wasn't an (e:peep) but forgot there name. I had some other point I wanted to say about how the segregation wasn't really anyone's fault just kinda the way it was. I think I won't have time to put up pictures from the pride parade that maybe tuesdays post. But here are two pictures that I forgot to put up from Richmond near my house from a while back. I wish I could have got more of the Yellow Car but my camera didn't take another picture for some reason.

Sara's Party

First of all I have to say sorry that I didn't get all the pictures I should have. When I first got there, There where some people I had never seen (I assume they where couples they looked cute together don't even get me started on that skinny tall Asian girl she was amazing) before. Sometimes it seems weird to take pictures of people you don't know unless they are with people you do know. Then there was a entire part of the party where I did not feel good at all. When that happens it kinda takes your heart out of it. So there where at least two groups of people I never got pictures of. Those of you who where there and see my pictures may know that one group of girls/ladies I'm talking about. In terms of crazzyness I must have missed some of it. I missed the Hookah. That would have been a great way to bond and have a sense of Community. The problem was is that I was all congested so I thought I might have a cold can't be passing that to anyone else. Turns out as I'm just congested with sinus and still sort of have a Headache. Hopefully my luck is better at (e:ladycroft)'s party tonight. OK onto the pictures in no particular order.

Before I forget I did have a good time and I hope everyone else did also. I know some of my pictures could be a little bit better. But I think that everyone looks good in them.

As you luck at these pictures you may notice that there are a few pictures that are two pictures in one. That is a feature I have on my camera. Sometimes those pictures look great and sometimes not so good but hopefully you guys think they look good here.

Meny Sides of Me

First of all If I have posted about this before then I'm sorry for sort of doing it again I know I have mentioned part of this before in comments. But before I get to that I had a green Mint Shrek shake at McDonalds today it was good, but not sure for how long they will have it now into the meaning full stuff.

I'm sure that how I feel isn't an only me thing, I'm sure there are lots of people who kinda feel like there are lots of Them. What I mean by that is that you act differently in different places and don't even think about it it just Happens.

I can't go into great detail about work. But basicly we joke around as we work as kinda a way to pass the day. It isn't mean (most of the time) it is just for fun. A lot of it is one liners. Some people do a few practical jokes. But I don't for two reasons. 1) that can get out of hand and turn ugly very easy. 2) More importantly we have work to do and can't be doing stuff that slows other people down [we have enough fucking off as it is](work mode is on) or interfears with them doing work. The thing is though at work I'm a lot more out going and have that one liner ablity that is really not a usefull talent anywhere else. It would be great if I could turn that on at a party and incorporate that some how.

Then there is the Sports Me: I will say this is more at the arena then on TV. Or maybe the TV since it is just me is more mellowed out or less loud. On the way to and from the Arena I'm just relaxed and trying to get there or get home. But once I'm there it is like I am pumped up allready and yelling and cheering and pounding on the glass and taking pictures and super pumped.

Concert Me: Is a little bit different Yes I am pumped and excited to see and listen to the band. But that has to do with If I'm into the music or not and that really drives me by how much I'm into each band. But between sets All I do is look around and have trouble waiting. But I also do that some during the show to. Part of that is knowing what is going on around you and watching the pit. If you are on the floor or ground you really got to make sure cause you don't want to be surprised when a crowd surfer lands on you. But often when looking at the stage there are some cutie pies, Hot Babes or what ever term you want to use and that can be a distriction. I know that I could never go see a Football game at a strip club cause there would be no way to follow either thing going on.

The Party me: Yeah I am social; If there are people I know. I will talk to people but should really do it more and talk with more people. The people who I do talk to I do enjoy talking with them. But what seems to happen sometimes is what I call the Cafeteria aspect. That is when you hear two conversations going on at the same time and are kinda between them but not in either of them. Or sometimes you might hear part of one of them and part of another one so there is no way interact with either one. Yes I can be very out going and say some prettty outragous things but I can't seeem to get this side of me to come out. Maybe it is that I go in with the wrong state of mind. Maybe I think that a party is a way to relax and I should think of it as a way to break out of the box. But If I clould have thought that way then I would have made it to those parites that I told a certain (e:peepp) I would be at. Yeah I still regret that I cound't make it to those. Hopefully I can let a little bit of the wildness that is in me out with out going over board.

The home me: I'm very ladi back and also very lazy. Oh did I mention messy to. That with the lazy ness and the not caring attitude makes a place that non of you peeps want to see. Home I eat watch tv sleep and watch movies oh yeah and the shower when I feel dirty. So at home I'm basicly a cat I guess. The exception to that is if I'm watching sports or something very exciting like 24.

I do know that there is a central part of me that runs through alll of thses somewhare but what that is and where it is I'm not really sure. I am me after all what ever that is. At some point I need to start to merge some of the mes and hopefully get all the god stuff togather. Oh yeah my spelling sucks and it doesn't help that this computer is crawling so I'm sorry for all the typos. I guess that is it for now hope to see everyone at the next to parties and maybe I can break out of my silent reserved self we shall see.

MIA Allentown Art fest

Music is Art Festival 2007
MUSIC IS ART Press Release for immediate distribution

The Buffalo based Music is Art organization has announced a change in venue for its 2007 Music is Art Festival. This year the festival will be held on Saturday August 11, 2007 at the Erie County Fair grounds, in conjunction with the 2007 Americas Fair.

The event, as in previous years, will include two stages of live music with presentations by local musicians, local dance groups. As in past years, the winners of Music is Art annual High School Battle of the Bands will perform on the main stage, as well as the live art, displays by dozens of local alternative artists, a Kids Village those have come to expect from the Festival plus a few new music / art related activities for all to enjoy.

The Above was not written by me. It is on the www.musicisart.org website. You can also get more info about events that are coming up. But the reason I wanted to post about this event is that it has been the same time as "The Art Festival" since it has started. That is about a week away, or more like a week from the weekend. I wish things would have worked out so that both festivals could have been at the same time. But I did notice something kinda interesting on the corner of North and Elmwood. They have a sign for Something they are calling Allen Town west. It is from my understanding the same area on Allen that is allways closed off and not part of the offical artfest. But it is sponsored by the Allentown Assoc. So it looks to me like Music is Really art they just don't like Robie and his group. But that being said it doesn't bother me to much. I think the fair is a great place for MIA not as good as where it was. But you have to work with the adminastration so if they are going to give you trouble then it is time to move on. I will still go look for art to put in my house and still have a good time.

Memorial Day

The first part of Memorial Day I decided to walk down to the Naval park and marina. I can remember I used to have a camera where you could set it up to take pictures every so often like maybe like 10, 20, 30, and 60 minutes. There is a name for that but can't remember what it is. Often that is used for sunsets and you get the progression of it over time. So I thought I would kinda do that with my walk downtown.

Then Once at the Naval Park / Marina I took some more pictures as I walked around. I think in terms of looks the polish memorial is the coolest one. I know they are memorials so I really shouldn't say that but there is a visual factor to them.

image
image

Before I go any further I should mention that my camera has a feature where you take two pictures and it makes them one. Sometimes this can make things look really cool and sometimes it can make things not so good. I'm thinking about trying to take a few of them at (e:lilho)'s going away party. Some of them will be in these pictures and you will see what I mean.

A little bit later in the day I went out with the family to a get togather and to not put people up who don't know about the site or people no one knows. I'll just put up a picture of what I had for diner. I believe the Breed is called non then there is Chicken Tandori and the greenish yellow stuff is some kind of tasty potatoe (yeah so I'm gore or who ever that who can't spell) . I had a couple plates.

Godsmack

Short little post that I had a great time at Godsmack's show last night they really where good. There is a good review of it in the news today. I like that they started out with AC/DC and the video screen they had was pretty cool. Sully was all over the stage. I like that he yells at people for sitting down that is pretty funny, but I do get it. The Double drum solo part was awesome all in all a great show. I was going to take my camera but with it saying no cameras right on the ticket I figured why take the chance. Plus I was in the first row of the Balcony in the Lodge section. Oh one cool thing was that when they tossed the sticks into the fans they did get two of them up into 1st row balcony not my section but that is still prettty fucking cool. Stemm kicked ass to, I haven't seen them in years. Ok I think I gotta take off and maybe go to the marina. I thought I put pictures of the memorial up on the site but if I did I can't find them. I will check again. Ok have a great holiday and I hope everyone looks forward to next weekends party weekend.

Chevelle Movies

So Last night I went to the Town Ballroom to see Chevelle, Finger Eleven and Sparta. I had a pretty good time. I had never heard of sparta and knew known of there music but I enjoyed there set. They where followed by finger eleven who I do know some of there stuff but not a lot and really enjoyed them. I thought Chevelle kicked ass. I don't know if you would really call it an encore but i think they did like 3 songs after they came back on stage. I really had a great time. It didn't hurt that there where some good looking girls near where I was watching the stage from. When I left I should have gone to Icon to see my cousin play. The only thing was that I didn't have enough funds to get home at that time and I didn't feel like I would want to walk at that time and I allready had a long day so I just went home.

Today's plan was going to go see Sherk the third or the New Pirates movie and then go on Elmwood around the Hoyt lake area and take pictures. But when I walked out after Shrek was over it wasn't that nice out (little wind and no sunshine) so I decided to see pirates and got in during the previews. One thing I will say is I'm glad I'm one of the people who likes to see where things are filmed the music or if there are any gags like fake or alterted credits often in comedy movies. Reason being is that there is more of the movie after the credits end. Overall I thought the action, acting and story was great. Visually it was very fun and I had a great time watching. But that being said I didn't find my self emotionaly attached to the characters. But maybe some of that is that it seems like I saw the second one a week ago. But most likely it was only last summer. I'm not saying I didn't like the characters at all, because I did. I don't know how to say what I mean really. Great movie. I also liked Shrek. I don't think that it was as funny as the two pervious ones but I still think it was pretty good. I like that they attack Fairy tales in it like in the previous ones. They even kinda attack plays or maybe even you could say broadway. As I'm watching the end credits I see that both Eric Idle and Jon Clesse did voices. I thought the one character was Jon's but I didn't know about Eric Idle. I wonder if it is because of "Search for the holy grail" and "Spamalot" or if it was just for their voice talents.

On sunday I'm going to see Godsmack at shea's that should be a great time. I'm not sure who the opening act is there was a contest to see who wins that spot and I'm not sure who won it. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and I hope I see a lot of you on friday night.

"Real World"

Firstly I and anyone reading this should be outside it was and I assume still is so great out. So last night I was watching MTV and watched a Real World Las Vegas update show. They are having a reunion show. I'm not sure how long they filmed it for but I thought they said a few weeks. It looks like it might get pretty interesting. But during the show I saw an add for the next real world they cast the viewers pick the cast. What I'm not sure about is if all the videos will be voted on and the top 7 get in or if it is just for a couple of spots. I don't know if they will do any balacing like that there has to be so many guys or at least one minority. But it sounds like an interesting idea. The only one down side is that there must be a lot of peoples videos to watch. I'm not sure how it will exactly work but hopefully I'll check it out more when I have a good amount of time online. I still think they should do a Real World Buffalo or at least Toronto.

Holiday Weekend

I don't know what I'm doing for the holiday yet other then I don't have to work. On friday Night I'm going to see Chevelle and Finger eleven at the Town Ballroom. That should be a lot of fun and a pretty good time. My cousin is suppposed to be playing at The Icon later that night but I don't see it listed on the Icon's website so I must dig a little deeper and see if I can find it. Then on Sunday Night Is Godsmack at Shea's that will be my first time seeing them that I know of I'm looking forward to that as well. Hopefully I will also at least get in one movie. Currently thinking about Shrek the 3rd. The other two where so good. I like how they have adult humor in there and kinda bash fairy tales. But we shall see what happens. I was also thinking that maybe if it is a nice day on saturday going up to the falls and seeing if the maid of the mist is going. I havn't been on that in a long time. I think it might make for some interesting pictures also. If I take any of the falls I will post them. But between two concerts I may just want a day to chill or maybe just relax and just watch movies.

24(simpsons) Heroes Finals

So Today is a boaring post about TV but oh well the two shows that are on tongight are both pretty good. Tonight on fox is the 2 hour final of this seasons 24. It is looking like it should be pretty good. I just hope they tie up all the lose ends and that they have some great action. On a side note the simpsons had what I thought was a good parody of 24 on last night. I'm not sure if it is really a parody if you have two of the actors from the show playing them selves but I thought it was a good and funny tribute. Then at 9 pm on NBC is the final of Heroes. That should be pretty good as well. I will burn that and hopefully get to watch it this week.
