Sleeping? Where?

Reading something Ladycroft wrote got me thinking. I have slept in a bed that was to big for just me, on couches, the floor, sleeping bags, recliners, a footon, sleeper sofas, the bus, cars, arm chairs, matress (no bed) and I tried a hammock but i didn't work for me. I was planning to post some pictures from around where I live but I'm short on time so that will be my next post. Then ladycrofts post got me thinking. So I decided to start a poll or survey. I used to sleep in a recliner. that was amazing comfortable belive it or not but now I sleep on a futon. The matress is super thick and soft I find it more comfortable then a bed. So for anyone who feals like responding go ahead. I'm not sure where my favorite place to sleep is I think a verry comfortable couch.

Where do you sleep and where is your favorite place to sleep?
a. couch
b. Recliner
c. Bed
d. soft rug
e. wood floor
f. Matress
g. Strangers bed
H. Popason
i. futon
J. Hammock
k. sleeping bag
L. Big Arm chair
M. or other

I'm not going to see the Juliet Dagger tonight. I wish I was I just don't have the energy. Plus I would have to walk down to the ATM and get money and walk back. I'll stay inside and watch Wrestling. We had a lot of work today. Next week we will have a lot of work since it is only a 3 day week. I'm hoping that when Beast comes back to Buffalo I will finaly get to meet her. Last night I missed The OC but watched Reunion verry good show. I went up to Cozumel to see someone I work with play, I forget the name of the band but mike played drums. I'm not really into the blues but they soundend really good and I really enjoyed my self. On my way home on wendsday I got snowed on, I couldn't belive it I found out people are coming over to my mothers for thanksgiving. I know my post is all over the place but I have a lot of thoughts. Ok take care all and have a great weekend. This is an interesting theme. I wonder if paul is going to bring back the snow on the site when it snows or is it back and I missed it.

Eddie Guerrero

Today I was planning on coming on here and talking about football. A was going to talk about how impressed I was with JP and the Bills win. I was also going to talk about how my Redskins blew it and because of a penality. But on the way home I heard some bad news. Eddie Guerrero died, he was found dead in his hotel room on sunday. Eddie was only 38 years old. It seems that recently a lot of wrestlers have died at young ages for all sorts of differant reasons. For some it has been the mixing of Pain Medication and alcohol. There have been to many to really mention here who have lost their lives way to young. I hope that the autopsy shows that it wasn't caused by drugs. Eddie did fight with addiction but had it beaten and was clean for years. I have a bad fealing that dieing in his sleep at only 38 something went wrong. It could be have been a medical defect that was never caught or that he knew about but didn't tell anyone about. No mater what happend it is sad for his family, his fans and the wrestling world. Here are some more of my thoughts.

First of all I think it is sad that we have lost another great wrestler at such a young age. Eddie was always fun to watch even when he was a heal. that being said I didn't like the fued with mysterio I think that went to far and to long, but thats just me. Eddie's wrestling ability and mic skills and personanilty some how would shine through. When you where supposed to hate him you still kinda liked him, but still wanted him to lose. I can't pick a best moment he has had a lot of them. The going away match between him and Dean Milanko in ECW was amazing. It was also amazing when both he and Beniot celebrated and embraced each other at wrestlemania. What made it so amazing is you know that they are good friends out side of the ring and that they where both at the top at the same time and they where both proud of each other. Eddie will be greatly missed.

The news has been on various websites. I don't know if after the the results are found if www.wwe.com will put them on line you may have to search other sites to find out what really happend. I only say this because wwe has a history of mentioning the cause of death once and then quickly moving on. If it is negative then you never hear about it.

Shelly Jackson Skin

the other night I was watching a show I taped called Inked it is about a Tattoo shop in The Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Part of the show was about this lady who got runs tattooed on her foot. The Tattoo artist was stuned and had to ask her why. She explained that she signed up for this at this site . Shelly Jackson is a writer who is making a mortal piece of art that is a story. I found it interesting so I looked up her site. From what I heard and saw on her site each person gets a differant word on them and take a picture of it. The only people who get to know the entire story are all the particapants, they even have to sign contracts to not to say they won't tell the story. I don't really read to much so I had never heard of shelly Jackson but I think it is an interesting Idea. I wasn't sure if the topic should be Tattos, Art, writing so I went with a compromise of body art. For a full explanation check out the website and I also did the copy paste thing from her site on the skin project.

AUTHOR ANNOUNCES MORTAL WORK OF ART

Writer Shelley Jackson invites participants in a new work entitled "Skin." Each participant must agree to have one word of the story tattooed upon his or her body. The text will be published nowhere else, and the author will not permit it to be summarized, quoted, described, set to music, or adapted for film, theater, television or any other medium. The full text will be known only to participants, who may, but need not choose to establish communication with one another. In the event that insufficiant participants come forward to complete the first and only edition of the story, the incomplete version will be considered definitive. If no participants come forward, this call itself is the work.

Prospective participants should contact the author (shelley@drizzle.com) and explain their interest in the work. If they are accepted they must sign a contract and a waiver releasing the author from any responsibility for health problems, body image disorders, job-loss, or relationship difficulties that may result from the tattooing process. On receipt of the waiver, the author will reply with a registered letter specifying the word (or word plus punctuation mark) assigned to participant. Participants must accept the word they are given, but they may choose the site of their tattoo, with the exception of words naming specific body parts, which may be anywhere but the body part named. Tattoos must be in black ink and a classic book font. Words in fanciful fonts will be expunged from the work.

When the work has been completed, participants must send a signed and dated close-up of the tattoo to the author, for verification only, and a portrait in which the tattoo is not visible, for possible publication. Participants will receive in return a signed and dated certificate confirming their participation in the work and verifying the authenticity of their word. Author retains copyright, though she contracts not to devalue the original work with subsequent editions, transcripts, or synopses. However, correspondence and other documentation pertaining to the work (with the exception of photographs of the words themselves) will be considered for publication.

From this time on, participants will be known as "words". They are not understood as carriers or agents of the texts they bear, but as its embodiments. As a result, injuries to the printed texts, such as dermabrasion, laser surgery, tattoo cover work or the loss of body parts, will not be considered to alter the work. Only the death of words effaces them from the text. As words die the story will change; when the last word dies the story will also have died. The author will make every effort to attend the funerals of her words.

I assume that this is still going on, and that since they showed the website on the show, that more people may join. Hopefully I'm correct here is one picture from the site.

supposed to

Well last night after wrestling I was supposed to watch the end of the hockey game and get caught up on Inked and e-Ring then watch Drawn Togather. Started to watch the end of the game but didn't make it. Today I was supposed to go to Tops come home go back out to Target and get stuff for my house and do some christmas shopping and on the way take some bottles back at Latina foods. I still may try to get there. This morning I got caught up on the shows I had taped and deposited my check in my bank. Melisa sure is nice, plus she is a cutey pie also. Then off to tops I bought soup and frozen food Juice and pop about 35-40 dollars worth. What I didn't notice was the the bags where singled not doubled. There was the short really hot blonde working at a counter behind the aisle I was in then she was cashing. If I would have noticed the single bags I would have asked for double bags. Cans are verry heavy and have to be double bagged other wise the bags break as they did when I was walking down Summer. Luckly some nice lady gave me a bag from one of the dollor stores. It didn't have a handle but it was verry stong it wound up breaking in my hallway. I had six bags and 5 broke. I had Chunky soup in my Hoodiie and back pocket what a diesater. Back to tops On the way out and ran into one of my buddies Parents they are cool and nice. I really should give Al a call sometime I always mean to but never do. Al is a cool guy and is fun to hang out with. I may fly to target and get stuff for my house. I was supposed to get new Bathroom stuff and clean it up it is horid. Yeah I'm a lazy messy guy but the bathroom is out of control. I would like to go to (e:lilho) 's tonight but don't know what time it is tonight. It isn't some place I can walk to and from to my house so time is an imporant factor. Hope everyone has a blast tonight.

Sports shot

I didn't listen to The sabres on the radio last night they lost. But I saw this picture in the sports section of the paper today. It looked better there then on line. You can see Birons eyes behind the mask. It is really an amazing picture. I would love to be able to take photographs like that. I'm ok with using a camara but I could never be good enough to take sport photographs. Using a "real or professional " camara is more diffacult. There are light setings and shutter speeds and all that kind of stuff to figure out. I can't really aforid those kinds of camaras some of them are verry pricy but are verry good. Then you also need differant lenses depending on what you are going to shoot and where from. Hopefully I will make it to another Hockey game and take some more digital pics and share them.

Vote

I voted today. I think that voting is important. It would be nice if money wasn't so important to the running for office. Hopefully who ever wins will make a differance and it won't be the same crap as allways. Some people don't vote because they think they are all criminals. I think that maybe some day that may change but I doubt it. I think it was Bill Maher who said the rupublicans are the party of bad ideas and the democrats are the party of no ideas, i thought it was kinda true and kinda funny. I think the two main party system is hurting this country. I havn't seen a 3rd party canidate who really stood a chance of winning. Hopefully that may change soon.

wifi camara gamers chair

Every Monday I do enjoy reading the Buffalo News. They have the click section wich often has some interesting stuff in there. I had seen an article about a kodak camara before that uses wifi technology so you can send pictures with out having a computer. The camara sounds amazing it really does. I don't have that much to spend on a camara but if i did it , it sounds like a camara I might buy. The other article I posted after that is about a "Gammers" chair. I do like video games but not a gammer nor do I have a new system but if I did and I wanted to go to that next level based on this review I might get it. I thought they are both interesting pices of technology. Before I forget I also wanted to comment that I like the new theme colors of (e:strip).

new Kodak Wi-Fi camera
By CRAIG CROSSMAN
KNIGHT RIDDER NEWSPAPERS
11/7/2005

Kodak's EasyShare-One has a 3-inch screen that tilts and is one of the first digital cameras to have built-in wireless Wi-Fi communications capability.
Film isn't dead, but I'm hard-pressed to remember the last time I saw someone taking pictures who wasn't using a digital model.
Yes, I can still buy VCR tapes, cassettes and records but why would I want to when I can buy DVDs, MP3 recorder/players and CDs?
I acknowledge that there will always be someone out there who will buck the trends and technological benefits. I figure they either derive some strange pleasure letting people know they like doing things the old-fashioned way, or they somehow feel that the old analog technology looks and sound "richer" than their digital counterparts.
Then again, it just may be that they think an old dog can't learn new tricks, which is pretty silly since these newer technologies are actually simpler to use while empowering their user with so many more abilities.
If I had to pick the most important thing one gets using a digital camera, I would have to say it's instant gratification. You immediately get to see the picture you just took on the camera's color screen.
And right in line with that gratification comes the ability to share your images with everyone who's with you. So the bigger the screen on the camera, the easier it is to let everyone around you see what you just took.
Many of the newer cameras are offering 21/2- and even 3-inch screens. It is this concept of sharing that is the focal point of Kodak's latest digital camera, the EasyShare-One. But this camera goes way beyond sharing via its 3-inch screen, which also pivots out and tilts for easier viewing. It's one of the first consumer digital cameras to have wireless Wi-Fi communications built in.
If you're near any wireless hotspot, you can transmit the camera's images directly over the Internet without a computer. Using the built-in stylus, simply select any picture you've taken that's stored in the camera's memory and want to share. You can compose an e-mail message directly on the camera by tapping your message in via the virtual keyboard displayed on the screen. Tap in the e-mail address, hit the send button and your e-mail message along with the pictures you've attached are instantly sent out over the Internet via the wireless connection.
The Wi-Fi abilities can also be used to send your images directly into your personal computer. And Kodak's newest EasyShare Photo Printer Dock Plus Series 3 also has Wi-Fi so you can wirelessly transmit any picture from your camera to be instantly printed.
Of course, you can also directly connect the EasyShare-One camera directly to the computer via a USB connection as well as docking the camera directly on top of the printer. This latter method lets you use the EasyShare-One's 3-inch screen as the printer's monitor screen so you can make printer selections via on-screen menus as well as preview what is about to be printed. This double use of the camera's screen for both camera and printer is clever and economical. A printer with its own color screen would be more expensive, as is the case for Kodak's older Photo Printer 500.
As for the EasyShare-One's other specifications, they are fairly standard, offering a 4-megapixel image, 256 megabytes of built-in memory (expandable via flash memory cards), a 3X optical zoom lens, autofocus, built-in flash with red-eye elimination, self-timer and a burst mode for faster pause times between pictures.
It can also record sounds via its built-in microphone as well as take full-motion videos with their duration limited only by the amount of memory in the camera. The 3-inch color touch screen lets you perform a wide array of editing features, such as an on-camera cropping ability via a movable crop window.
The Kodak EasyShare-One is a remarkable digital camera from one of the world's leading camera manufacturers. And while its general abilities are sufficient for most of us average picture takers, the addition of Wi-Fi and the camera's built-in software to take advantage of that wireless ability certainly makes this camera stand out in the crowd.
Windows- and Macintosh-compatible, the EasyShare-One camera sells for $599.95. The Easy
Share-One Photo Printer Dock Plus Series 3 goes for $179.95 at www.kodak.com.

A butt-kickin' rumble for video gamer's chair
By RON HARRIS
Associated Press
11/7/2005

Associated Press
Buttkicker Gamer powerfully shakes center post of a player's chair when a video game emits low bass audio frequencies.
SAN FRANCISCO - In an effort to deliver the ultimate sensory experience, most top video games marry earthshaking sounds with high-quality graphics.
It's a goal that often falls a bit short.
Let's face it. Sitting in a chair playing video games feels pretty much just like sitting in a chair.
That's where a new device called the Buttkicker Gamer comes in.
It's a thick metal device ($170) that clamps tightly to the center post of most office chairs. Powered by a 100-watt amplifier and low frequency transducer, it shakes powerfully when a game emits low bass audio frequencies.
Delivering physical feedback to a gamer is not new, but previous efforts have tended to focus on gentle buzzing and making a hand-held controller vibrate.
The Buttkicker Gamer takes all that to a whole new level - the seat of the pants - and it works quite well.
The manufacturer suggests using the device to feel the gaming action without having to crank the sound. I found it fun to do a bit of both.
I tried the unit with two of my favorite action-packed PC games - "Boarder Zone," a snowboarding game, and "Counter-Strike," a first-person shooter. It took some fine-tuning with the low cutoff and high cutoff frequency buttons. Toying with those allowed me to adjust the rumble delivered to the clamp, and by extension, my seat. I turned on the high and low cutoff buttons and set the frequency knob to 40 hertz, per suggestion of the manual. Other adjustments can be made if the user is going to sit in the Buttkicker powered chair and listen to music, but I wanted to play.
The suggested settings worked well. When I cranked the Buttkicker output too high, my chair rattled at even the slightest bass frequencies, scaring the daylights of me and my dog.
On the snowboarding game, the Buttkicker rumbled as I made a hard landing. In "Counter-Strike," it was the loud blast from my weapon or a nearby explosive device that got the Buttkicker going.
Some more docile games didn't lend themselves to such feedback, and I often found myself reaching to disable the Buttkicker and re-enable my plain old 2.1 subwoofer.
But this device by The Guitammer Co. delivered quite an experience as billed, and it got me looking forward to trying dozens of games on my shelf all over again to see if it will kick new life into them.
