So today I went to go see Alice In Wonderland in 3D. I thought it was amazing I really did. That being said not sure how it would compare to it not in 3D I guessing their would be less feelings of motion. I know I liked it.

After that the movie I saw seemed to be filmed kinda low budget and old maybe it was supposed to look that way. I'm thinking part of it was that I just saw this very bright and High Contrast movie and now I'm watching a zombie movie. I Liked the crazzies and yes some of it was crazy but If you like the zombie genre you would like this movie I think.

I'm still surprised the Bandits won it was a great game from start to finish.

































































































































































































































Just wanted to mention that the team the Bandits beat used to play in NY. Next up Sabres and then sunday St. Patrick's Day should be fun times.

So I will be the first to admit On Sat. the bandits didn't have a chance, I was wrong their was great goaltending and they won. This weekend will be tough they go to toronto and then boston but if they can win them both I think they will be .500 we shall see. So I'm a bit behind with things like the olympics and the bandits and other online stuff but finally 4 days after the bandits game I will put up some pictures, they lost again the bums they are still my team part of the problem was bad goaltending that game.

On My Way I passed through the Powder Keg Festival. If I had more time I would have liked to check out the maze and gone into the Pearl St. Grill. Well here are pictures from that Area.

Oh yeah then On Sunday I had a great time watching Olympic Hockey to bad team USA came up short but they still did pretty good. My next bandits game is Saturday then about a week after that I'm going to a Sabres game.

So some how with only getting one seat I was able to sit in the first row that they sell that was pretty cool. I had a great time. One thing I wanted to add is that Monster Jam is a different series or circuit then this series. Monster jam is on speed vision and has come to The Erie County fair in the past but that was years ago. I also saw another promotion back when WCW had monster jam trucks. WWE had The Rock and Austin. I would love to go see monster jam some time. I don't think they come to buffalo any more though I know they have come as close as Toronto but not sure how close they come in "The States"

So there is no way I can post all my pictures from the monster trucks last night. I did have a good time at the pit party and the show. The pit party is where you go down onto the floor and see the trucks up close and the drivers are there and you can pay for a ride on a monster truck. Oh it is a special truck just for that it isn't one of the trucks that is competing. But Last year I think at the end of the show one of them did do some freestyle but not at last nights show, but maybe today's who knows.

So On Fat Tuesday I just got to the parade on time to watch it. I wanted to go and see The Stripteasers and get fucked up but mainly see them. But also the olympics where on and it was cold, and we where going to be short a person for part of the day the next day at work and it is a short week. But what lead me the most I think was this sterotype I have. Well sterotype isn't the right word. I don't know much about Roxy's since I've never been there. I thought it was a gay bar or lesbian bar. My view based on that is a single stright guy going into a lesbian bar by him self might not sit to well with some people there. I'm not picking on anyone but it could appear that I was there for the wrong reasons. Lets face it most stright guys have watched some form or Girl on Girl porn or some kind of girls kissing girls website or pictures. It isn't the same seeing it is public like in a porn just like stright people making out isn't the same as in porn. I just get this feeling that I might not be welcome there. I'm not saying I wouldn't be welcomed , it is just a feeling I have. Now if I was with some friends it might be a different story.

On a side note I kinda feel Mardi Gras is kinda silly in Buffalo. It is freezing who is going to show of there tits or their dick for beads, well ok I would if she was cute, well I wouldn't need beeds but maybe some green label Jack might help. Now that I think about it I'm not even sure what Mardi Gras cellebrates and I'm not sure what Fat Tuesday is about except that it is like the end of it. One thing that Surprised me is the planned parenthood truck, hey it is a good idea wish I would have stopped by there with some one and then we went back to their place that would have been fun, oh yeah and look at what is less then a month away, hard to believe that.

I thought I should say something about the winter olympics but not sure what. I have all kinds of posts well they are really links over on facebook. I watched the opening ceremonies on Both CBC and NBC last night. It was friday at the end of a work week so I couldn't stay up for all of them. My quick thoughts are this

-- Much Music has a set up in the olympic village area someplace and that was interesting they had girls/ladies in an out door hot tube and had a promotion called "Drop Your Gear For Beer" . You strip down to you underwear for beer. To bad we don't get Much Music in the US anymore there used to me a Much Music USA that got bought and changed it name to Fuze (or is that with an S) if you have digital cable check them out they play a lot of music. When they first changed names they had some of the old shows on that where on both networks. Oh yeah back to the much Music thing. I guess they also have bands coming by, so if you have a Dish or live in Canada check them out.

- I loved the snowboarding entrance thing that was pretty amazing.

- Like the teams coming in when It hit commercial time I would flip to CTV/CFTO or vise versa.

- After the fact I saw the Torch Passing all I can is The Great one was awesome

- Saw the whale thing that was pretty cool

- Ski Jumping is pretty cool

- Even though they warned us, I'm surprised they showed the entire deadly luge crash, I thought for sure they would make that only on the web, plus they showed the medics working on him, again that surprised me.

CTV/CFTO has coverage starting like about an Hour ago. One of the events got cancelled so I wonder what they are doing about that viewership wise. Need to see.

Tonight Have to see the Moguls where they then do the tricks that is amazing.

Never made it to my movie or to get my self a huge Heart maybe I'll slide up to wilson farms or walgreens and get one for my self so I can treat my self during the games tonight

Day one was good hoping the rest are good also.

Back to the CTV thing for a minute. What I watched this morning (some of it) was kinda like a recap show. One thing that I drew from it was that it isn't just about the sports. It is about more and they show you or at least talk about some of the things other then just the sport like things like things in the area connected to the games. Wish I was better at explaining it.

Well I was going to write about how the Olympics start tonight and how CBC had some coverage of the torch relay. But I wouldn't have much to say. But this distracted me on my way home. Still not sure what I'm doing for V-day. I think I will Watch the Bill Maher comedy special and get my self some candy in a box, I would like to see a movie and maybe buy one maybe do the tax's ah not sure. But I have a question.

On a second side note does anyone know this model and is she single ? I wonder if she is local cause she sure is pretty. I'm a big boob guy myself but I don't think it would really work as a cover it would show to much skin, but I would still love it.

So I'm writing about something that I don't want to write about really but I must, I've been putting it off and putting it off for a couple reasons. 1. It (assuming anyone reads this) may piss a lot of people off, I could never post this on Facebook and Myspace. 2. I don't know if I should really admit this publicly. 3. I don't know if people will get what I mean or if people will miss understand me.

So as some may know I'm an Uncle. I see my niece some but not tons. I'm sure it is a lot more then some and a lot less then some other uncles. But every time I do see her i feel a sadness, not a deep sadness like I want to cry but just a general sadness. The reason for that is that I know that I'm seeing her for the wrong reason. It isn't like I'm watching her for hours or anything like that. It is because the the Baby's mother and father aren't together. For those that know me you may get that I'm very complex and complicated and also very simple in some ways. What I mean is that some things I find are simple and they should be that way don't go and make things complex that don't need to be. Most of the time I see her if they where together their would be no need for me to see her.

I know everyone is a little bit fucked up. But I'm sorry A one parent house hold fucks kids up. That going back and forth, and living in two places. Having different rules and maybe different parenting styles. All of that fucks kids up. I know in this generation that is thought to be ok and that kids will be fine, well guess what that is wrong they won't be. Kids need stability. But what they also need is to have an example set of what family is, what commitment is. What Sacrifice is. Believe me, I don't know how but kids pick up on all that stuff, you don't need a degree to know that.

That I know of there are 2 people in my family who had a relationship, then had a kid, then kept the relationship, then that ended. I don't need to know the details to tell you why those ended. Someone or both people thought that their own Happiness was more important then the welfare of their child. I'm sorry but Fuck You. Once you have a child what is good for you is second to the kid. He didn't ask to be born, he didn't have a choice, he is innocent. You have a responsibility to him/her to what what is best (not what makes the child happy, don't get me started on that bullshit idea, Oh I want him to be happy, or I want to be his best friend) for them, I get and know that relationships are hard and kid makes them tougher. But every step of the way their was a choice to have sex, what to do about the baby, if you where going to stay together, then you make all the choices and when things get tough you give up and only think about your self. Well fuck you and what you want you have a kid, you are no longer a kid you are now the adult and the parent and it is time to act like. ARGH I' m so pissed.

I get that there are cases where two people can't get along and all the fighting or maybe throwing things is worse for the kid, in that case that is ok. But then if that was the case you should have broken up before the kid not after it. I get that sometimes the love ends and people fall in love with other people, but still your kid needs to be priority #1.

This is one of the reasons I'm glad I'm not out trying to met people in bars. On a side note will I ever met anyone on okcupid who I didn't all ready know (Dana, Carey , Heidi and someone else). Well it wouldn't matter really since I don't catch anyone's eyes in straight or Gay Bars (that was a good time hanging out with all those (e:peeps)). But see at least with a one night stand if something goes wrong like a condom breaks or something, it isn't that commitment issue. You where both their to have sex, there was no intended child, their was no relationship you where both getting off and it was about your self for both of you.

I think I'm starting to get those Crazy Christians. You know the ones with the big banners who yell about sin. I'm not saying I agree with how they give the message. No one wants to hear that when they are at a downtown concert. But you know what they have a point. Think of it this way. If I'm in a relationship with someone commitment to them is a big part of that. If I don't have enough of a commitment (might be wrong word) to that person to wait to have sex until Marriage . Then How could I have any commitment to that person after we have sex. If someone doesn't have the patience to wait till marriage why would they have patience enough to stick around after you have a child.

I have been good friends with people who had multiple kids by different fathers and it is so sad. I didn't think it was then. But my point of view was a little bit different. I can't imagine what it is like for kids to have their mother, and then there is a boy friend. Kids like or don't like that one and it lasts for some time maybe even a few years and then the relationship runs it course and ends, and mom is ok but then for the kids it is a new boyfriend. I'm sorry it is just fucked up. Don't take this the wrong way I don't dislike all the people I have known who have done this, but thinking back it is fucked up.

Well I have no idea if I expressed what I really wanted to but at least it is out there now., and I got it off my chest. I didn't even touch on how parents bad mouth the other one, or how sometimes in divorces or splits each parent tries to out do the other one with better and bigger gifts, that must mess up kids pretty bad to.....
