Not sure Why I post
[inlink]paul,1915[/inlink] I admit that some times I post as a way of venting or releasing stress. Some times I post to tell people about things that are going on. Sometimes I'm replying to something someone else said. Sometimes it is a way of documenting stuff I have done. I also post because people read what I post. If say under views it said 2 or 3 or something like that. Then I would know that no one was reading it. But since people read what I write then I continue to write. Since I read others posts then it is only right to write also. I guess this is the best way to explain it. I know I havn't done a great job of expalining why really, but there are some reasons that I post that i'm not really sure about myself.

The Square
[inlink]paul,1919[/inlink] The Veterans have one major flaw in there anger at the square. Most people look at it as a little park downtown. They don't sit and look at it in silent reflection and ponder all those that died. When people go to a concert and drink and sit on the memorial that is not contour productive to that monument. I have even heard a few performers mention it. If any thing the square brings people down who would not be downtown. So meny more people see it because of the square. I did read that article in the paper today. They need to keep the concert series where it is.

Warm Days inspire business idea
I missed work again today. Watching football and the bisions win last night and more football and a 2 special on starwars on A&E most have tired me out. 3:15am was just to early so I called in sick. I hope no one from work is reading this if they are I'm dead. But if they are then they can steal by business Idea that I came up with the other night I had 2 but i forgot one of them. It is good that I didn't go to work. When I left my house this morning there was a back pack on my steps. I remember that there was a lot of in and out and doors closing and opening last night. So if i would have sleeply walked down those steps I bet I would have steped on it and gone half way done the steps. But wait if I would have hurt my self I would be paid to not work.
After Blue friday (plus inspired today by the great weather) I walked down the chip strip. Only one bar had Hockey on TV and they where playing crappy music. So I came up with a cool idea for Elmwood. An Outdoor Sports and Rock Bar. There would be a huge Patio with multiple TV's Outside. Every sport that was on TV would be shown. Imagine on a Monday Night You could Watch Wrestling and Monday Night Football. On sunday's you could show Multiple games. For fans of Hockey and College Football multiple games would be shown. It would be awesome. Plus you could paly great new rock and some select good classic rock. This Barwould also have multiple TV's inside as well. It would be advertised as a sports and rock bar. Yes there are some bars that play music but the TV are a long way away form the outside or at least that is how it is on the chip strip. I love sports and I like being outside it would be great to have to two combined. There is nothing better than being out in great weather watching sports. When winter came then the outside deck would have a way to be enclosed and heated. If I had the money to do it, I think I could make a killing. Even iuf it didn't make money it is something I think is a great idea and elmwood would be a great place for it.

New Buildings
[inlink]nicholas,56[/inlink] First of all thanks for posting the pics nicholas or nick not sure what you like to be called. I don't know what type of buliding should replace the towers. I like both old aniciant looking bulidings and new modern ones. I think that yes some type of memorial to the Trade Center and to those lost should be included in it. But at the same time the buliding should reflect not only remembering what happened but also moving on. I know there where a bunch of ideas proposed and they where voted on. But I don't really know who got to vote. I guess this design is the one that won. I admit that it does look a little odd. But I think that anything else there would look od also. I think a good skyline has old neat looking buildings and very new cool and interesting buildings. Again I'm not sure what the building should look like. I guess no matter what design was picked there will be some people upset. I think that along with a memorial to those lost to 911 in the building and the cops and the firefighter they should have pictures and designs of all the propossed bulidings to replace the towers and how they did on the voting. Someday who knows 9/11 maybecome a holiday like Pearl Harbor Day. I think it is only fair that people in the future can see other buildings that could have replaced the towers but that where not picked. History is very interesting but it becomes more interesting when you know the entire story not just the dates and the so called line. People need to remember that this buliding is not just in the now it is a piece of history weather they like it or not. Well that is my 2 cents from someone who has never made it to New York the nearest was East Rochelle or what ever that place was called where I went to a swim meet. If I was a New Yorker I'm sure I would feal differantly.

Hockey Lose Go Bills
:) :( Last Night I went to that Friday Bills Blue rally or what ever it was called. It was good but I thought they could have had more football talk and less music, but that is me. John Murphy said they where on live on Empire but I wasn't at home so I don't know. I guess they are going to show it tonight on empire. I did have fun listing to Steve Tasker and Adre Reed speak.
I got home and Watched the End of the World Cup of Hockey. The game was Tied But the US lost the game on a great looking goal. I was pissed I was looking forward to overtime and a possible US win. But since the game ended before showgirls I watched it. Wow there is a lot of Nudity and great nudity in that Movie. Gina Gershon [however you spell it] alone is amazing not to mention all the other showgirls and stripers wow. I say every guy who is stright has to see it for the nudity alone.
Tonight at 6:30 I belive Canada plays, I can't remember who. But I will be watching and and pulling for them. I know the US was favored last night I assume Canada is the favorite tonight if they are I hope the favorite dosn't fall again. I'm hoping for a great game. I will also be checking out that bills thing on empire. I want to see how they can strecth it out into an hour like it is listed on the guide. Plus maybe I will see myself. I hope the Bills have a good season this year but I doubt it will happen. I think the Jags are going to whop em, hope I'm wrong.

Prisoner Abuse
[inlink]paul,1910[/inlink] I admit I don't look at pictures of prisoner abuse. I don't see the point, they are disturbing. I do belive that all the pictures are real. But when the pictures came out there where a lot of very upset people. It was a huge news story. But the reason the military and government guys where so angery was becuase of the pictures came out, not because of the abuse. Abuse like this has been going on by The CIA, and the Military for years. Tourture and humilation is how they get there information and how they hunt spies and terrorists. But pictures have never really leaked out and wound up on the news before. The pictures reflect the hipocrictical stance of the US. They say we don't tourture others they want the US people to think that we are the good guys and everyone else is evil. This is very true in biological weapons also. The US says one thing and then does the opposite. The US has been using terrorism and violance to inocent people in other countries for a long time. That is why so meny countries hate us. But if this information is out in the open then we the people start to question the government. I hope what I've said is clear. I'm not anti american at all. With it being september 11th we all need to remember what happend and form our own ideas of why. I think The US is responsible for what is has done overseas and the hate we have caused my have lead some people to fly planes into the towers in NY. Yes I understand that The Army has a tough Job, and that they are trying to show that this is what happens if you mess with us you lose it is not worth it to fight us, we will destroy you. But the problem is for everyone the Army kills they wind up causeing people over seas to get upset and some of those people will then become terorists. So the cycle continues. I admit I have no Idea how to stop the cycle my self, but i'm sure something can be done some day to stop it.

Miss beeing a real elmwooder
Not sure how long most people here have been elmwooders [if that is the right term], but I miss being a sord of true elmwooder. I define a elmwooder is someone who works, lives or counts elmwood as there home or their main hangout. Yes I do like elmwood but I can't afforid to live there nor do I work there anymore. I used to be a stock boy at Wilson Farms. I admit I did get very stressed and didn't have any money, but working on elmwood was fun. I worked with fun people. Does anyone remember when the guy would hang all those hand written signs on the house next to the store. I didn't get most of them they seemed political to me. But that was very interesting. I didn't go out as much as my friends at the store; I didn't have much money. Then when I got a second job I had money but had to get up early so I didn't go out much. But the times I did go out I did have fun. Plus I'm not much of a drinker. I don't like beer and that is what is always the cheepest and what bars like to discount. So the people I worked with went out a lot more then I did. But that time was a lot of fun. I didn't really fit in all the time but I still had fun being with friends. I just Remembered that blockbuster Video used to be a bells I belive and there used to be a post office Next to Coffee& if memory serves me right. But I also don't want to go back to not having money not like a have that much now. I try and walk elmwood everyday now, but that may change in winter. I'm trying to get more invovled, that may happen, the fact that I'm a procrastinantor dosn't help. Ok I will stop my rambiling hopefully it is somewhat cohearant.

Elmwood Scary and Loan
[inlink]paul,1904[/inlink] That picture looks like it would fit right into Buffalo. Kinda looks like where the dress shop used to be near where they have the Allen Town Art Festival. I think it would be a cool idea to link togather some how. But for people who where not from either place it could be kinda confussing if they where observing or websearching for Elmwood or Buffalo. I hope I'm being clear expressing myself, some times I'm not clear.
[inlink]paul,1905[/inlink] School loans suck. I will be paying mine back for a long time. I belive if you are in school full time (12 credit hours I think) that you can defer them. Once you leave school you have six months untill you have to start paying them back. I was once thinking about allways going to school full time. Yes it would be expensive. But as long as you are a full time student You don't have to pay it back. If it was some place that you didn't need a loan to go to school then the loan would stay the same size. But when you take out more loans the Debt will grow and grow. But maybe it is possible to go to school for ones entire life. You could even Take breaks during the summer and work all year long. This Is a theory I came up with a couple years ago. I don't know if It would ever really work or not. It would at least make a good idea for a comedy movie. Someday someone may really try it. School loans suck and take time to pay off, plus they generally arn't able to be gotton ride of through bankruptcy. I have no Idea how to refinace them. I can't cobine my loans to reduce them or get a lower interest rate because they are all from the same company from what I uderstand, if i'm correct I wish you the best of luck.
