not pro-life or pro-choice
One thing that I don't like about the Abortion debate is how you have to be Abortion is murder and wrong or It is great and I love abortion. It seems like people have it set up to be devicisive. The first thing is that the two terms are wrong. Pro-choice means that you think women should have a choice if they want an abortion but often this term is used to mean that you like abortions and that isn't really true. The term Pro-Life is also wrong also. The reason is that if you out law abortion then some people will go and still get them like how they used to in the old days and People would bleed to death sometimes so if you are pro-life you really are not. Some Pro-life people have also killed or taken life by blowing up abortion clinics or killing doctors so that doesn't mean they are really pro life then.
I think that Abortion should be legal. I don't think the state has a right to say what a women or anyone can do to their own body. That doesn't only apply to abortion, there was a time when Tattoos were illegal. Even if I thought that the State had a right to stop a women from getting an abortion. I would still want them to be legal. The reason for that is that some people won't get them any more but a lot of people will go do the "Back Ally thing" those are very (or where) dangerous and then the mother is in danger.
In terms of the if it is a taking a life or not I'm not sure. It really depends on how far along the lady/girl is. When you call it a kid or baby then I say that it is alive and it is wrong to abort it then, that is unless it is a danger to the mother. I do think that 3rd trimester abortions are wrong. I do think that ladies should be given all the facts and one option shouldn't be pushed over others or the facts shouldn't be bias. I think that for anyone who can they should go for adoption instead but I know that isn't all ways an option. There is a 3rd cause but I don't know if it has a name that tries to cut down on the number of abortions there are a year and I would like to see more of that, it seems more senseable as opposed to the war and crazyness that goes into both movements.
SO: Abortion should be legal and safe and in some cases it is killing but in most cases it isn't, I think it is ok today but wish more people would choose adoption instead, hope I covered all my thoughts on it.

EDGE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: BANDITS VS 'JAX
Buffalo hosts Portland on Saturday at HSBC Arena
05/15/2008
Final preperations are being made for the 2008 Edge Championship Game, which will be held on Saturday when the Buffalo Bandits host the Portland LumberJax at HSBC Arena.
The Buffalo Bandits will host the Portland LumberJax on Saturday at 7:30 PM ET in the Edge 2008 National Lacrosse League Championship Game at HSBC Arena.
The Bandits, who are the top overall seed in the playoffs, have defeated the New York Titans and Philadelphia Wings on their home turf in East Division playoff games, while the LumberJax, who were seeded eighth overall in the post-season, have been road-warriors, upsetting the Calgary Roughnecks and San Jose Stealth in their respective buildings on their road to the Champion's Cup.
Mark Steenhuis scored seven goals last week in Buffalo's 19-12 thrashing of New York in the East Division Final. His MVP performance included four consecutive goals in the fourth quarter to put comeback hopes out of reach for New York.
"I think we're playing very well right now," said Bandits head coach Darris Kilgour. "There's a lot of anticipation going on. We're ready for a very tough battle."
Ken Montour, who leads the league in save percentage (80.8%) and is second in goals against average (10.23), made 41 saves in the win, but Mike Thompson (11.81 GAA, 76.2% save pct) will get the start in goal for Buffalo. Thompson stopped 46 shots and allowed just 12 goals in Buffalo's first-round playoff win against Philadelphia.
Portland's Dan Dawson and Ryan Powell lead all post-season scorers with 12 and eight goals, respectively. Dawson also has 10 assists for 22 points, seven better than the next points-getter, John Tavares at 15.
"Guys are playing with a lot of confidence," said LumberJax bench boss Derek Keenan. "We're playing well certainly at the right time."
Starting goaltender Matt Disher went down with an MCL strain early in the game, but Veteran goaltender Dallas Eliuk, who has served primarily as a backup in 2008, answered the call with 35 saves for the win.
"There is a chance [Disher might play Saturday]," added Keenan. "We probably won't make that decision until Saturday. He's been rehabbing all week and it's sort of a gametime thing."
The Championship Game will be a rematch of the final weekend of the regular season. The two teams met on April 26th at HSBC Arena, with Portland falling 14-10. 18-year-old Peter Jacobs was the only Portland player to score multiple goals, while John Tavares chipped in four goals and four assists for the Bandits in the victory.
The Bandits, who including the post-season are 9-2 at home, can win their first championship since 1996 with a victory on Saturday, while the LumberJax look to make history and win their franchise's first Champion's Cup.
ESPN2 will air the game on Tuesday, May 20th at 2 PM ET. The game will air LIVE on ESPN360, The Score Television Network, Eurosport2 and online at NLL.com. SIRIUS Satellite Radio will also air the game live on channel 119.

Two Points to clarify ESPN 360 is a website so it is epsn360.com . Also the goalie Disher used to play for the Bandits but not sure how long ago it was.
David Copperfield yesterday was very good. I went to the early show. There was this neat part where there where clips of him or about him in pop culture. His big trick was to get people out of the audience and then they got up on this platform with chairs and covered them he gave them flashlights and then he made them vanish. I guess the people who know them found them in the lobby after the show. The people where selected by passing balls through the crowd. He did this trick that had a story about his father and grandfather and he made a car appear and that lead to him sending flying discs into the watchers and some people went up on stage and then some people called out number and answered questions. At the end of the trick he has all these people unlock this glass container with the metal locked box inside of it. When he pulls out the paper and a audio tape the numbers matched what was picked and it matched the answers of the questions. At the very end he he picked up his fathers licensee plates and put one in front of the others and it was the numbers that where picked. I think he has demonic powers how could he know what people where going to say, HA! My boss saw the later show and said the answers where different then the show I was at, so that takes away one way he did it. He did some other cool tricks to. He has a talent at finding sexy ladies to come on stage. It was a fun time and it really flew by quickly. I would think it would be worth it to go see him if he was someplace close.

Love of Star Wars
I know the love of star wars isn't really an Issue but it fits into being a fanatic. A lot of people think that there where 6 Star Wars movies but depending on how you count that isn't true. By my count there are 7 because of that all Ewoke movie and I heard there was another spin off some place. Not to mention the original 3 came out in those versions with all the added effects and scenes so you could get the count up to ten. Then you have the clone wars but they so far are only animated cartoons. They make comic books and movies and all kinds of stories that I never got into. But I'm still a fan. I have posters and some merch like figures on my wall and M&Ms and things like that. But It is very easy to go from I'll get this cool thing to I have to spend my entire paycheck on it and go overboard like dressing up as a stromtrooper and having your girlfriend dress up as lia and stuff like that, and putting it on line as a video with ewoks in the background.
I think the reason for being a fanatic though makes sense in this case. There are so many great ideas and themes in the movie like good vs bad, tryreny, abuse of power, fighting for freedom, love, companion ship, being rebelous, the entire Jedi thing. So there really are if you examine it a lot of reasons why Star Wars appeals to people. That doesn't even get into all the characters, action, special effects, cool costumes and great music.
Here is an example of someones dedication to star wars going to far that I saw on Yahoo today. Maybe it is more then just one person going to far. But maybe for the people at the church it isn't maybe the Jedi Beliefs kinda line up some with theirs so they kinda line up some so they aren't that nuts or maybe it is just fun.
'Darth Vader' spared jail in Jedi church attacks
Wed May 14, 7:36 AM ET
HOLYHEAD, Wales - A man who dressed up as Darth Vader, wearing a garbage bag for a cape, and assaulted the founders of a group calling itself the Jedi church was given a suspended sentence Tuesday.
Arwel Wynne Hughes, 27, attacked Jedi church founder Barney Jones - aka Master Jonba Hehol - with a metal crutch, hitting him on the head, prosecutors told Holyhead Magistrates' Court.
He also whacked Jones' 18-year-old cousin, Michael Jones - known as Master Mormi Hehol - bruising his thigh in the March 25 incident, prosecutors said.
The two cousins and Barney Jones' brother, Daniel, set up the Church of Jediism, Anglesey order, last year. Jedi is the faith followed by some of the central characters in the "Star Wars" films.
The group, which claims about 30 members, says on its Web site that it uses "insight and knowledge" from the films as "a guide to living a better and more worthwhile life."
"We all love the films and what they stand for. Obviously some people are going to laugh about it," the Wales on Sunday newspaper quoted Barney Jones as saying last month. "But a lot of people do take it seriously."
Unfortunately for Hughes, his March attack was recorded on a video camera that the cousins had set up to film themselves in a light saber battle.
"Darth Vader! Jedis!" Hughes shouted as he approached.
Hughes claimed he couldn't remember the incident, having drunk the better part of a 2 1/2-gallon (10-liter) box of wine beforehand.
"He knows his behavior was wrong and didn't want it to happen but he has no recollection of it," said Hughes' lawyer, Frances Jones.
District Judge Andrew Shaw sentenced Hughes to two months in jail but suspended the sentence for one year. He also ordered Hughes to pay $195 to each of his victims and $117 in court costs.
In the 2001 United Kingdom census, 390,000 - 0.7 percent of the population - listed Jedi as their religion.
Hey if anyone feels like chiming in go ahead, maybe there are more details I should know that shows these guys just love star wars like me an are not fanatics or maybe I'm one also but not expressing that I am here.

cooperfield and more
That should also take you to a page where you can see all my pictures from the tall ship beer fest thing. I'm really looking forward to the championship game on Saturday. It has been 12 years since they won one. Yes they have been to two championship games in the past few years but they lost one at home that was depressing cause they where the better team I don't care what anyone says but they didn't play like it and they lost away, might have been on TV so I really hope they can win. I decided screw it I'm poor anyways I might as well get David Cooperfield tickets for Thursday. Should be a good time, it has been along time since I've seen him. Hopefully I'll put up some Tonawanda pictures up on Tuesday and then maybe some bonus Bandettes pictures.

Street Kings Iron Man
Before both movies they had an add for a special event coming of DeathNote. I will admit that I like the show but didn't know there was a movie I'm going to have to see if I can get to that. The second movie of the day way Iron Man. With out giving anything away it was really good. I can't say if it was true to the Comic Book or not since I never read it. That being said there was a lot of great action with kick ass music in the background. I pretty much posted the same thing on 2 other social networking sites but there where two things that I didn't say there and the big one is because I forgot to mention one of them. The thing with "Comic Book Movies" is that to be good they have to have that great story telling along with the action and that balance can be tough sometimes. I thought they did a great job here and thought it was really good, plus the place was pretty packed. When I use the term monkey here it isn't a slur based on race or at least it isn't supposed to be. But when the credits rolled you should have seen the mass exodus of the monkeys from the film. It was nice to see some people who understand that it takes people to make the movies or maybe they just wanted to see what the music or maybe they wanted to see the end of the movie. For those who read comic books, watch comic TV shows or are Haseloff fans you may know what happens after the credits but it wasn't Haseloff who will appear it is a much better actor. If you paid attention during the movie there was some foreshadowing to this but I didn't catch it. Oh yeah and the 2nd thing (e:tinypliny) it was nice to run into you on the way home, I hope all that produce winds up tasting very good.
