I had a good time today and decided to go with small art instead of a big piece that I might not have room for or it might have fit in one spot wasn't sure but here are the photos....







































































Yes that is the art I got on my wall.... Not sure if you can see the other Asia pictures by the same artist in the kitchen...

I'm hoping also to post a short version of pictures from Pride soon but we shall see.....

The Dolls those kids made where great I didn't read about them but I thought they where pretty cool...

I saw some new stuff that wasn't there last year....

I know I had some other point that I forget.....

So Music Is Art last year was great.... At the time things where kinda crazy so I don't think I could ever really figure out what to do picture wise so I figured why not try some slide shows this should be some dancers and a pole the duration is the standard 5 seconds....

So the blog I want to write I really can't .... One reason for this is in the past I have tried to take pictures of the art on my walls but I don't know it never seems to look right with reflection or taking at an angle or the flash hits it... Plus there is that tricky copyright thing also to consider as well... What I wanted to do was take a picture of every piece of art that I remember buying at Allentown and posting it on here now in some cases I could give credit to the artist but some I have no idea who did it... The other issue is that some artists are both at Allentown and The Elmwood Festival of the arts......

Yes I have An issue with the Festival and how they Treated MIA.... But at the same time I get that you wouldn't want to have people hear rock music as they look at art... I thought when both Festivals went at the same time was when they both where the best...Cause lets face it The art fest is great but those crowds some times are argh plus at MIA there was dancing and music and Yes sometimes Burlesque ... Also back then MIA was 2 days and a lot of stuff any you might need a little break..... Hey one year after all that I'm Pretty Sure I saw Robby Takac so if he can still go so can I....

Now some might say that the Allentown West festival is the one to go to but way to packed most of the time.... That is just because of the street width though and then those stands and such....

Yes there seems to be some people who are at the art festival every year...And Yes some of them I have bought art I really like multiple years.. Yes some of these people get people to come see their stuff through mailers or other means... But I also That There are people who have edgy or dark art. I'm don't get the Jewelry thing my self if you want that get it someplace else and not an art fest but those people could say the same thing about the people who make masks.... I think it is good to have a good Variety and I think the Art fest should have one more block on Delaware and one of the streets that goes down should be another block or maybe on that small street....

On Facebook 464 gallery posted some time back a link for Allentown submissions I hope that some great local artists get in...That doesn't mean that I will like there stuff... Hoping to see some cool art and maybe by some I'm kinda like one of those heavy tattooed people who doesn't have much space left... I have seen in past years some amazing stuff that is just to much... Like here it looked painted but it is really layers of paper.... Then sometimes the best looking stuff you can't and trying might be even worse (people watching)... So for those that go have a great time......

So One odd thing is that since youtube has a 10 minute time limit if you have a bunch of pictures like me you have to change the duration .... Even if not I'm of the mind that you don't want to see one photo for 5 seconds even if the zoom does look pretty cool.... I couldn't find any way to change the duration to same time for all the pictures you have to do it for each one? Well here goes........

So the last time I tried this it didn't work...Now this is the same slideshow but I wonder if since I could see it but it hadn't cleared youtube yet if that is where the problem was so going to try and post again here goes....

So this Youtube slide show was just to test it out.... I still have to learn how to play with it and make the photos quicker or maybe not zoom so that I can do a bunch of pictures hoping to figure that out so I do the Parade on Wends and see what happens.......

I admit I got going a bit later then I wanted but that is ok still got a pretty good spot on the floor.....

These two girls where pretty good I believe they where the called Friends and Loves ones....


















Now the first Burlesque act I believe was called The Beau Fleuzies or something like that...... I have to admit that I didn't get all the best stuff cause it seemed that is when my camera didn't like the lighting...













































The Next Group Was The Boom Boom Betties.....I may have the acts reversed but I don't think so sorry....


































































So Next up was the Stripteasers a bit into the show I was told I couldn't take pictures so here is then I took......









I also Enjoyed The Stamplickers































so currently there is a pride Parade Part 1 uploading to facebook... Hoping to get the entire pride Parade up here on monday.... Then what I would like to look into is making photo slide shows for youtube..... Not saying once I figure out how to do that I would for sure stop posting pictures but it would be an option or another way of seeing them.....

So Before the big Stripteasers on Saturday was the Dyke March.....





































here is what Happened I walked up summer and then got to that corner and watched the march but my camera was to low on some of the shots so there where no faces so I walked past the march had to go to Wilson Farms anyways and took more photos.....

So Friday Night was a good time at Sportmen's The Skiffle Minstrels are all ways a good time or at least the few times I've seen them so not sure how these pictures are but here they are.....

So I thought the New X Men Movie 1st class was great... I love the fact that in the X-men you have Charles and "His Old Friend" on opposing sides and that there is that kinda not sure if you call it respect for the other view... I Won't give anything away other than that I thought this was a pretty good movie of course I guess anyone who is an X-men fan would like it.... That being said not really knowing any of the old X-men don't know if this characters with the exception of Beast, Charles, and Magneto are from the original comics or not.... hey I enjoyed it.....

I don't have any pictures yet but I also went to the Dyke March but not the Pride stuff after.... I think the 2nd set of pictures I took are better but oh well.... I mention this because I think the entire (in all the movies as a theme as in the cartoons what what I remember) Idea of acceptance fits in good with it being pride week here and month.... Even if it wasn't I would have seen the movie anyways... It is still a good super hero or action movie... I wonder if they had it come out this month on purpose?

Last Night Skiffle at Sportsmen was a good time they played longer then I thought so didn't go to 464 (gay artists) I wanted to watch WWE and other stuff... Should have gone since I passed out on wrestling and woke up with a nasty headache don't think it was from drinking felt like congestion then back to bed... So should have gone to see the art.....

Tonight Burlesque assuming I don't pass out....I do believe photos are fine so hope my camera doesn't die...Hope I don't drink to much and miss the parade.... If I was cool and awesome some or some people would take me home and we would have breakfast and take in the parade but that will never happen not me at least....Gotta be a pretty girl for that to happen Ha...

Not sure where to see the parade from see figure that out on sunday.....
