Ok So been meaning to post about this one topic for some time so Figured now is as good as any of a time... Hoping for a very busy weekend.... Friday going down to see The Skiffle Minstrels at Sportsmen should be a good time... Then hoping to slide on up to 464 for a few maybe take a few pictures who knows maybe there will be some art I must have...... Hoping to catch the end of wrestling and I think Maher and Camelot are both new? We shall see what happens... Hoping on Sat. to go see the new X men movie then gotta double check Dyke March time 4 I think and then at Night Off to see The Stripteasers now I think there is also some cool Vauldvile thing at Diablo with Burlesque but can't do both... Then Sunday is the Parade... There should be Picture taking at all of these events.... It might take me a week with here and facebook to get pictures posted.... Now after the Parade Don't think I'm going to the pride stuff... Not that there is anything wrong with it but now that it is downtown on Sunday (if I have this right) and Sat.. On Allen.... Besides I don't know if I would feel right.... It isn't that I think someone would grab me but what if I liked it....HA kidding.... I don't know it is hard to explain......

Maybe it is a little bit of a bias and if so then sorry.... Maybe it is fear of the protesters .... Maybe it is partly that you don't want someone to think you are gay.... Not that I care if they do but it is I don't know really....I do think that Racism, homophobia and sexism or any other ism is taught or I should say the way we are taught makes those stereotypes or fears happen and that is what I want to write about even if it isn't clear...

Not that I can remember being that age where you are taught but.... Kids are taught this is what red is.... This is Blue ... This is green.... Kids are also taught shapes. Kids aren't taught here is where orange changes to yellow or shades... Back in the day if you had one of those 64 color crayon boxes you where the cool kid and everyone wanted to be your friend... But even with those colors all had names and you could tell the different types of reds apart most of the time what is Aqua wow.... Then of course kids learn letters and numbers but not at the same time and not together.... so then kids some kids get to say algebra and there mind is blown weight why are there letters in my math and some peoples minds can never handle it....They just can't It makes no sense.... The reason is that this way of teaching is by common Characteristics .... But more importantly at a young age we learn to categorize everything....

This way of learning is why people who fit out side of this little pigeon holes or social norms or groups get picked on praised or Bullied (based on where they are compared to you). This only gets noticed when there is a problem...Loving all the football players is fine.

I kinda lost my point someplace I think... I think part of the problem with homophobia is that somehow kids get taught gender roles... Don't know about kids books now but the boys have short hair and the girls long.... Hello anyone ever watched Wrestling or seen a Metal Band... My Poison or Ratt should have came out with some kids books.... Or maybe Nathan Explosion from Dethklok .......

I guess my point is final thought is this:
You teach us to Categorize everything you shouldn't be surprised when we do it to people.....

I also feel that it might be kinda like part instinct as well we are animals... There is a safety thing. You wouldn't pet a tiger walking down the street a Cat maybe but when the tiger pets back you will make a good meal.... Now a chicken you can eat... Somewhere we had to have this to survive so I think it is ingrained ......

That being said though I think everyone should be treated the same and I think these thing can be learned and unlearned based on whom you know....When I was in school there was a game called Smear The Queer it had nothing to do with sex I think whom ever had the ball got tackled and when they lost the ball someone else picked it up and people tried to catch them and Tackle them not sure about that though.... But over time I learned there is nothing wrong with being gay and that people who are gay should be treated the same and have the same rights as everyone else.........

Still not sure if I said that how I wanted to and didn't prof read it but maybe I'll see some of yall out and about and happy pride.....

Oh yeah still not sure If it is better to Have Pride at different times in different places.... Yes that way people can say go to Toronto or NYC or some other place.... But maybe if it was the same time everywhere then Protesting would be harder?

Don't get me wrong I like the city. As much as I bash people who oh no there is someone who is black or talks words I don't understand I"m moving to the burbs.... I have to admit those houses at least during summer of near Old Man River look like a great place to live.... I doubt I would really like it not cause of the view but you have to travel to get food and movies and things like that.....

I really enjoyed Sleeping in..... I don't think I have ever gone to a Memorial Day Parade... I think for some reason they don't have them in Buffalo really I think that is why.....

I did watch a pretty interesting Documentary on showtime called "Hugh Hefner:Playboy, Activist, and Rebel"... Was there some nudity um think so but it wasn't about that at all really... If one is to pickup a playboy magazine one would find well after they got off to the girls that it is really about the articles.... The really famous ground breaking stuff and Famous writers and all that kind of stuff happened before I was born but still some good stuff....

So later I guess going out for a dog or burger.... Now I'm going to see what Videos of music I can find on Youtube that relate to the movie......

So Yesterday's Plans went up in smoke and not event the good way HA.....

Watched the Hangover II and wish I could say what parts where my favorite but it would give way to much away.... If you have seen the previews then yes the Face Tattoo is still funny for some reason.... The Plan was to go up to Roxy's to go see some Burlesque.... Mistress J of the Stripteasers teaches a class and then her students perform ..... It would have been great just drink and watch and have the ladies out yell me but it didn't happen argh fuck.....

I decided I would find a movie and go out get money go up there and have a good time.... I watched and had a good time with Salt....Good action Movie.. So I get up to gel the hair and my body is like dude you are tired you ain't going so fuck it... I should have gone but I was so not feeling it... Hope the ladies and some guys who went had a great time and hope all the performers did great....

So on Stars watched an odd movie called "The Virginity Hit" now it looked like all the videos where legit home video but hard to know if that was really the case.... That was an interesting movie .......

I admit I never liked the MacGruber Bit on SNL but the movie was better then the sketches so....Yes there was some funny stuff. It was like a parody of action movies like Rambo and others not a shot just at Rambo though.... It was nice....

Then some how I stayed up for Yes I got a 2nd wind and watched the Zack guy from the Hangover SNL that I passed out on when it aired live it was good.....

Oh so lame wanted to be looking at ladies and drinking oh well oh yeah lame............Still enjoyed myself....Not going to let this happen next weekend though.......

Woke up early today since I passed out early last night... This means I got to Watch Diary of The Dead.... It was a fun Zombie movie to watch.... I like that it also speaks on media a bit and how it effects us and that it was made to look like all amateur shotting well not hollywood cameras .....

Now I can't say much about the Hangover with out giving stuff away... It was funny but not as much as the 1st one but then again I also thought the 1st one was better the 2nd time... The movie was crazy again won't give anything away other then to say now I want to Go to Thailand .... I think a few of the things that where supposed to be jokes I just liked but hey that is just me.........

Wish I had time to get in a 3rd movie but I doubt that happening.... Think I'm going to see Burlesque (not to be confused with the movie that I think was really good) At Roxy's (Mistress J has a class and they are dancing so......No Pictures also so that is good also...)

So Some how It is Memorial Day Weekend.... How did that Happen.... I just feel like getting away... Wish I was the kind that could just go hop on a bus or train and go to NYC but 8 hours isn't one of those fuck it I'm outta here things.... Even Toronto would be great but currently the USA Gestapo makes you prove who you are to get back into this country but yet all the illegals just kinda walk in.....ARGH.... Oh well Guessing I'll go down and look at the ships or maybe watch a bunch of war movies who knows.... Then the Next weekend is Pride.... I figure go to the Parade (think it goes the other way this year and then down to the Marina)... Might Check out the Dyke march and then later go drink and take pictures of the Stripteasers event think Club Diablo is having some cool event that night to.....

Ok now the TV question... I bought an HD LED TV..... I don't have the HD Channels yet but stations that have shows in HD don't take up the entire screen it has this thing called zoom but then it looks like the other settings either the picture is small or you lose a tiny bit of it......Does this mean to see the HD shows to take up the entire screen I need the HD Channels?

Next Question.... Some shows look different color wise if I lean back or forward.... Kinda like how some phones do this...Any Idea why (lights are on)......

Just thought if someone had one of these kinds of TVs they might have some insight....Mine is small 22 inches if that helps and is on a little stand.....

Well hope someone enjoyed these shots of buffalo as I took part in the hospice walk...

So went to see the newest installment of the Pirate movies in 3D today... It was a fun time... In Terms of 3D stuff there where two parts that I noticed that where pretty good but again not sure about the 3D thing... I suspect for a movie to really work in 3D the entire thing has to be shot in 3D and only 3D... See if a movie is going to be in 2D and 3D then the 3D parts don't make sense in the 2D version and the 2D stuff could be 3D? That is why I'm pumped for one of the previews I saw 3 Musketeers... The last version of it that came was pretty good but this 3D version looks like it will be amazing.... Oh yeah Pirates was good and if you liked the other ones you will like this one....I admit I don't remember the past stories cause for some reason I have only seen them at the show...... That being said as soon as the credits started to roll I was thinking wonder when the next one is going to come out.... Then end credits and the next movie starts or where I assume the next one will pick up AWESOME!

Hopefully tonight if the world hasn't ended by then I will finally get to watch Get Him To The Greek.... It is on HBO and what ever previous station it was On I kept missing it......

This Morning was kinda odd as it looked like there was fog but it was high in the sky and kinda distant......

I will admit I love Lovely tattoos on women.... I Don't know about the sleeve thing though I prefer when you can see what each Tattoo is with some space around it.... Yes over on that other site I like tattoo pages and like tattoo shows.... Well there was a question about if you got a $1000 tattoo and had to spend all of it what would you get? I have no idea what anything costs....

-I don't think I could deal with the type of pain that tattoos give
-what if I don't like it, I mean how it look on me I'm more of a wall art guy

That being said I have 3 ideas for what I think could be pretty cool of course the pain of any of them might kill me and I don't know if they could be done artistically

1. San Fransisco Metallica Tattoo.... It would be include all the members yes even Mustane who went onto megadeth fame... Somehow the golden gate bridge and those famous Trolly's would have to be a part of it....

2. I tropical lagoon with a huge waterfall rising out of the water would be a water dragon and laying on the grass would be a white tiger.......

3. A mash up of Sean Madden art... Maybe the warpigs with a tank and one of them has the Bottle and gun with girls kissing as the pope looks on dancing with the devil or something like that

4. On top of a flat part of a mountain a huge dragon Sits with a Knight and is crying as they both look down on a grave yard... The crosses are swords with shields on them

Again just Ideas to get the detail on my skinny self to make any of them good I would need my entire chest or back......

Wish I was good at the Movie Review thing .... But here goes it seemed there was a lot of story but that is a good thing cause lets face it a lot of people don't know the story and didn't read the comic or The Avengers... The way I think of it is that I think all "The Avengers" will get there own movie.... This is like the back story so you need to go see all of them to get the story... Yes this one at almost the same time as the Movie Company name set up the Avengers movie kinda like how Thor was set up at the end of credits of can't remember what movie Ha... Oh well. I thought the effects where pretty good... Again I can't compare them to the other movie so can't say how 3D it really was or not... I enjoyed it and before the movie two previews for two great looking movies the green lantern and Captain America both look like they should be amazing.......
