PPV

This weekend I want to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory it looks like it will be good. I think On Friday The Juliet Dagger is Playing at Nitechez with a few other bands that might be fun also. But my main plan is on Sunday to Go to THe Great American Bash. It is a WWE Pay per View. And for any of you ladies I bought the Expensive VIP seat. First Row Ringside. I don't know exactly where I will be or if I will make it on TV but it will still be a lot of fun. So I will try to have fun and not spend to much energy. Then a week from Friday I'm going to Toronto for a Blue Jays game that should be fun. But back to the PPV for a minute it has been at least a couple years maybe more since a Pay Per View Wrestling Event has been in Buffalo so it is a big deal. I know boxing has come a couple times I think it was on HBO both times. I would consider myself not even close to rich but higher then poverty level. But I still spend money and Have fun. But it would be nice to be able to buy what ever you want or go on trips with out worring if you can offerd to go, or have 4 yeats of school paid for with out loans of any kind. I have a good example of the divide is socail class. The waterfront condos. There is a lot of poverty in that same neighboorhood. It is kinda odd that they are bulit on the other side of the train tracks. I would love to know what everyone who can live there and for the bonus those who can also own a boat down on the marina do for a living.

Reality?

Yeah I do admit that I like some reality TV shows like Real World, 30 Days, Made, True life,Real Sex, Family Business, Laguna Beach, and a couple others. I like documentaries depending on what they are about some good ones I've seen are Supersize Me, Dog Town and Z Boyz, Hamburger America, Fahrenhight 9/11, Metallica Some Kind of Monster, and Bowling for Columbine. I like the stories but subject matter is important to. On the Real World Austin (on tonight) part of what will be shown is the Real Worlders making a 15 minute Documentary about the "South by Soutwest festival". From what I understand it is a big time music festival. I admit I have never made any movies but I would think that Editing all that footage into 15 minutes would be tough. I know if I went to Warped tour and they let me tape what ever I wanted and make an hour documentary it would be tough. Now if I wasn't allowed to use any of the songs performed then that would be differant. I belive the final Episode of 30 days in on Wendsday night. Last week they had two friends go to and experimental Eco-village. It was interesting I will admit. But I think it would have been good if they acknowledged the Camara crew and how the camaras are powered. It would be nice to know how much the events being filmed change when there is a camara. Plus we only get to see what people sign a relase for. I't really dosn't look good if you have people with blanked out faces so they don't get used. I'm sure that when Tom Green was on and maybe even with punk'd and some other shows that there is a lot of great footage that dosn't get used because a release isn't signed.

Italian Wrestling Begins

On friday Night right after worik I went to the Ballpark Brawl IV. It was wrestling at Dunn Tire Park. I enjoyed my self and the wrestling was good. But it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, but it was still fun.

Yesterday I had fun and mailed a bunch of bills. It took longer then I thought. I was going to try and see Wedding Crashers or Chralie and the Chocalate Factory. When I got to the movies it was going to be a long wait for Wedding Crashers so I decided to see Batman Begins. I really enjoyed it. With out giving anything away I thought it was very dark and verry good. The story was good plus there was lots of action. I think Bale (from american pschyo) did a great job as Bruce Wayne and was an ok batman. I still think Micheal Keaton was the perfect batman but Bale is the perfect Wayne. After the movie ended I was a little bit to late to see Charlie... If I would have left during the credits I would have maybe just come in on the end of the previews. But maybe I wouldn't have missed any of the movie, but I didn't want to take the chance. Crashers didn't start for about and hour. So I went to target to buy a belt, wound up with two. One is reversable and the other is burgundy with winged skulls on it.

From Target I went to the Italian Fest. I didn't stay to long maybe a couple hours. I watched a little bit of the Bocce that was fun. I also ran into my sisster and a couple people she was with. I went home read some E-mail and Watched The Day After Tommorow. That isn't really my type of Movie but it was very good. After that I watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. I don't know it calling it a stoner movie is right. But I thought it was funny.

Weekend The Rules

I admit that I was going to talk about some issue today but today I blanked on what it was. These Weekend I belive the New Chralie and The Chocolate Factory opens. I still want to see the new batman movie. Then the Italian Fest starts on thursday. On Friday I go to wrestling, it is called the Ballparkbrawl. Now that The italian fest has been scaled back The Rules don't need to be displayed there. I like festivals but some of the people there really need to use common sense. Most people who drive can follow them and would follow them. I think these rules should be pasted or annoced at all festival and or both.

1. Go down on your Right Go Back on your Right (none of this down the middle or walking towards traffic crap, you did that with a car or bike you would die)

2. No standing in the middle of the crowd not moving (causeing a traffic Jam, this mostly happens when you get a group of 3 people or more talking in a circle with a couple feet between them) [if you did that with cars the riot police would beat you down and drag you away]. You wana talk walk and talk or move to the side of the road.

3. No double wide strollers. Kids front to back will be frowned upon but legal. Umbrulla strollers are encouraged.

4. No Stoping. Walk and read if you can't walk and read then go home or get in line for what you think might taste good.

5. No crying kids. If your kids cry then they can't handle treats and should be home with a sitter. Festivals are about Fun, exception they are in Pain.

6. No groups of stollers. If you have a stoller walk behind someone else with them not next to them. We don't need any rolling road blocks.

My point is this. There are a lot of people at festivals you all walk togather and Yes sometimes the traffic moves at a slow pace and that is ok. But most of the congestion could be stoped by people doing stuff the right way and not clogging everything up. I admit I have been the asshole trying to get a pic of a sexy chic, but when I am I admit I'm being an asshole and try not to do it again.

Hot

I admit it was hot today and verry hot at work. But I would still rather have this then the alternative. I hate when you go to a festival and it rains and is windy and nasty. Granted it would be nice if it cooled off at night so you don't wake up covered in goo but I'll take it over the rain.

I thought I should upload a few pics from the taste of Buffalo. Sunday was fun except I forgot to put on sunscreen so Now I have a nasty burn. I had to have the Deepfried Twinkie. The Cajun chicken Strips where good also. I forget what they where called but I had these awesome fries they kinda tasted like chips they wher being sold right when you entered the circle. I didn't stay for the two bands i liked they where both on at the same time and I had been there long enough and spent enough. Tonight for dinner I went into Just Pizza and there is the cutest sexiest little lady working behind the counter and she has a very sexy high pitch voice, I may keep going back there. Plus there was another hottie behind the counter to but not as hot. I didn't go to just Pizza on Sunday or saturday since they are in My hood. I don't remember everything I tried there but I had fun.

Taste of Sunday

Yesterday I went to the Taste of Buffalo. I enjoyed myself. There are a lot of differant foods to eat, but I wanted to try something I hadn't had before. I saw some garlic chicken thing that sounded good but saw it was At May Jens so I passed. From what I can remember from Yesterday I had a couple of drinks, YUM. I tried two kinds of Pizza. One had Blue Chesse (not a fan of it but other then that pizza was verry good) and Chicken and chicken wing sause it was verry good. It was one of the first places on delaware. Then I tried something I found at the circle it was called Lassagna Pizza that was interesting. I will be going back today to see what else to get. I want to try the deep fried Twinkies they will either be the worst or the best thing ever. I forgot I also got a Keylime pie piece and some type of oreo peanut butter cup. I think that moving it to the circle was a good idea. But I think putting it on Delaware was a bad idea. Delaware is a lot thinner street then main. The location needs to be altered some next year. Another thing that they changed is the $5 dollar minimum. In years previous I have been almost ready to go and had one thing left to try so I would get like 3 dollars worth. It dosn't say you have to buy them in 5 dollar incriments so I guess you could buy $8 worth but not sure. I didn't see any one I knew but I saw a lot of sexy ladies most with guys or other girls.

When I got home Yesterday I watched a little bit of Live 8. Mtv was showing I think 5 hours of all perfomances commerical free. I watched Anchorman: The legand of Ronburgundy. I found parts of it very funny but I don't want to give any thing away. For those who may have seen it, the dog was awesome everything about that dog ruled and the fights where great to. One of the stories that was being coverd was about A giant panda giving birth at the San Diago Zoo. Then I watched the gorgeous Jessica Biel in Texas Chainsaw Massacare that was a twisted flick, but she was verry good in, then a repeat of SNL that was good.

Why is it that there are so many good shows on sunday nights. For me I love Punk'd and Viva La Bam. Then there is Queer as Folk and The Dead Zone. Then you have Animation Domination on Fox, Family Guy is a funny show. Then on HBO There is Entourage and The comback. They all seem to be in conflict and before the summer started there was Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal. Well there isn't muich I can do about it except try to figure out wich ones to watch. Tonight Farenheight 9/11 is on I really want to see that also. A little latter it is back to the taste of Buffalo maybe I will go see some entertainment aswell I think Terry Buckwald might be performing I think Anatara is also they are a good band. Yeah chicks can rock.

Pano's In Buffalo News

Mayor promises legal battle over Pano's expansion plans
By MATT GRYTA and MARK SOMMER
News Staff Reporters

Andrew Norman/Buffalo News
A State Supreme Court ruling has paved the way for razing this 1893 house next door to Pano's restaurant on Elmwood Avenue.

Mayor Anthony M. Masiello vowed to appeal a State Supreme Court judge's ruling Thursday that allows the demolition of a 19th century house on Elmwood Avenue.
The ruling by Justice Penny M. Wolfgang permits Panagiotis Georgiadis to raze the 1893 building just north of his Pano's restaurant at 1089 Elmwood Ave.

Masiello, who opposes the demolition, said his appeal would be based on his belief that the ruling was a misreading of the city code.

"We are going to appeal because we feel as though we have to protect the integrity of the process," Masiello said. "There will be more issues like this in the future, and we think this ruling damages our ability to do what is right for the city."

Georgiadis was unavailable for comment.

The decision comes over the objections of preservationists and a neighborhood group, who have said the building's distinctive turret and Medina sandstone contribute to the historic character and quality of life on Elmwood.

The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation concluded last year the building could be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.

"This casts an absolute pall on the ability of neighborhoods to protect themselves from unwanted development," said Timothy Tielman, who leads the Campaign for Greater Buffalo's History, Architecture and Culture. "The project goes against everything neighborhood groups have tried to develop in their plans for Elmwood Avenue."

Georgiadis originally applied for the demolition permit on Sept. 10, 2004. He claimed years of student housing had made the building cost-prohibitive to repair, and later indicated he would use the space to expand the restaurant's patio and surface parking area.

The Buffalo Preservation Board, in its advisory position, rejected Georgiadis' request following a public hearing. A member of the Preservation Coalition of Erie County presented 3,554 signatures on petitions opposing the demolition.

In her ruling, Wolfgang agreed with Georgiadis that the building deserved no special protection since it is not a designated landmark nor located within a historic district.

She also said Raymond K. McGurn, commissioner of the Department of Permit and Inspection Services, failed to follow city code by rejecting the demolition request, and took him to task for calling on Georgiadis to provide a site plan for re-use

Varrious Animals

First of all I found out why Wonderfalls is on LOGO. I had forgot that one the characters is Gay. That was a really good show. Some of it was Filmed in Niagara falls and some of it in Toronto If memory serves correctly. Last time I was talking about a show called 30days On FX. Tonight the episode is about A gay guy and a kinda NRA type of all american guy sharing an apartment in San Fran, I think sparks will fly for sure.

Thursday I'm going to see The Tea Party at Sphere that should be a great show. They are there friday also. Then this weekend is the Taste of Buffalo. That should be a lot of fun.

I don't have any pets so I don't know all the details. But there is something called Pet Insurance. It is medical insurance for your pets. I think it is a shame that Pets sometimes can be saved for more money then it costs to put them down. Could you imagine if we did that with members of our own family. Well the surgery will cost a few thousand bucks but the death syrum is only $75 dollars. I heard a family having a debate over one of its animals the father wanted to put in down since it was cheap, but the mother wanted to get the surgery. I know that some might say our health care system is so messed up, how could we ever get a good ones for our pets. But I think one could be devolped. Pets health shouldn't be a burden they should be able to be taken care of as though they are a family member. I'm not some huge animal rights guy. It is more about them being family to some people. Some people prefer their pets to family, or boyfriends belive it or not. I know a pet isn't the same as a family member. But don't you still love them the same. I also belive that Cats and Dogs expenses if they are legaly registerd and if they have a tracking number of some kind should be able to be claimed on tax's. Here is why Just like a Kid if you mistreat them or abuse then you can go to jail. You are legally responsable for them. Most people chose to have them like they chose to have kids. Granted it couldn't be much of a deduction but I think it would be fair. Lets face it there arn't really any wild Dogs or Cats anymore. Yes there are some but those are mostly from domestacted ones that got away or where no longer wanted they arn't true wild animals.
