New Search Word Highlight

Now when you search for something using either the search box under the login box or the search page, it returns your search query highlighted in the journal so that you can easily find where you search term is written in the result.

Campaign to Save Zoar Valley

This info just in ...
Hi Folks,
I'm really excited about going to our capital and raising our voices for Zoar's protection. Just spent the day at Zoar enjoying the knife edges and amazing trees. What a beautiful day.
For everyone who is definitely coming on the Albany trip please read the following info. I need your full name correctly spelled so that Environmetal Advocates(organizers of this lobby day) can get us all registered and past security. You can email it to me or call 592-7547, it would be good to have it by tomorrow but no later than Saturday. The Environmental Advocates are pleased that we have such a passionate group and are encouraging us to shine our colors(that means bring the signs and banners).
We will be meeting at the Budget car rental across from the Buffalo Airport at 3:45 am Monday. If we get to bed early Sunday evening and get a nap on the ride then everyone should get enough sleep. I expect us to be back in Buffalo by 11pm. We have 2 vans reserved that can hold 14 people but if more want to come we will ask for someone to offer their car and carpool. The Budget car rental offers parking for $5.00 if you want a safe place to leave a vehicle. We will share gas but bring extra $ for lunch, parking and the event.
Together we can tell our elected officals know how much we love Zoar and why it must be saved. See you early Monday.

New inLink function

Some of you may have known about the inLink function. It used to be something of secret but now its ready for everyone with a great new interface. If you want to link to another persons journal when logged in, simply click on the link image next to the mail envelope at the bottom of the journal you want to to. It will bring you to your update window, with the inlink added.

Speed Improvements and Top Ten List

Oops, I accidentally reset everyone's userpics to their old ones. I am really sorry.

The site should be a lot faster. I have made several improvements to the code which I expect will increase the speed at which you can browse the site.

The user drop down list is now once again in alphabetical order. As requested, I have also made a longer than 10 top ten list, accessible by clicking on the "...more" link at the bottom of the top ten. This will bring up a window with the rest of the journals in order by time and date updated. If you click on any of the links in that window, that journal will load on the main page.

A major update

You may now upload any size gif or jpg image and have it resized perfectly to your journal.

This is a major update as you will no longer need an external image editor to deal with larger than journal width images.
