So Yesterday On my way to see Machete Kills (yeah it was fun by the way) I saw there is some more Street Art on Elmwood... But they have this thing like tells the Bus Drivers stuff and it was about the Parade Route ... I didn't know there was a columbus day parade or maybe I did but had no idea when and where.....

Now when I first think about Christopher Columbus I think oh you mean that guy who got lost and found land that no one knew about well except for the vikings .... Who came here and left maybe some stayed ?

Now there are people who will tell you all the bad things columbus did and why are we celebrating that... Those people have a point... But the flip side is if he didn't get lost maybe this country would have never happened... Yeah The Indians had their land taken ... But The point here is they lost .... They lost and yes the government used things like Buffalo Soldiers to hunt them ... I think most people think it is like how our country was founded... But it is more He was the Founder of the colony that uprose england ? I think it is ok to say yes all that evil stuff is ok cause it gives us this country we have today.....

But this brings up a couple of questions ?

-Some Indians have been protesting The Redskins .... Now to me the term isn't a put down it is about the fighting spirit like all the other Indian names but I can admit I have no idea how they came up with names like cowboys so if yeah get ride of them where does it stops Chiefs and change cowboys also ......

-I can also admit that I other then the Nation of its own and Non tax status I don't get how reservations work... I guess they like them they can sell smokes and gas and have gambling but what about people who don't have that.... Maybe that should be the concern not the football team protest ?

Now when writing a blog there isn't all ways a point sometimes it is just kinda a way to reflect a little bit... and I thought the Redskins would link in more directly it did in my mind at least ... I guess you could say that since the Indians where concurred and made deals aka treaties do they really have any reason to complain I don't think so..... That being said though maybe here is what we should do make it all the way... You don't want Indian names in sports fine change them all and no more having all your people live together no more reservations .... It is fine to have your culture and everyone should but you can't have it both ways ?

So yesterday I noticed that some more "utility Boxes" where painted and when I walked them today some of the unfinished ones where and a new one was being walked on... also have mural being worked on... Also went to firefly cupcakes yum :) and got take out from Cantina Loco good food and saw Bubbles so here is the pictures from the trek ......

But first if you have more time then I thought I had stop at Blue Monk and look close and you will see those are streets I was trying to get a picture so not sure how readable the Streets on map are but check it out :)


















I should say I'm sorry this was all kinds of chalk art in front of the bank and it was over whelming with people there and couldn't figure out how to get a picture of it some was in shadow and some sun and thought it would just be dark looking with both as it often is......

So Saw this on my way to Target by bus so I went back .....

Not sure if there will be more Street art and if so when and how th pick what boxes and why not others hey do them all.... Yeah do one right in front of Blue Monk even though they got mad when an (e:Peep) took pictures through the window of how nice it looked inside before they opened ....

'Community Canvases' comes to Elmwood Village

The art project known as Community Canvases and the Elmwood Village Association announced today that local artists will be transforming utility boxes and other structures along Elmwood Avenue into art installations. The organization's first event happened along Tonawanda Street in August.

According to EVA Executive Director Carly Battin, artists will begin making their work on Saturday morning. Stay tuned to this space for some pictures of the completed work.

So Sunday was such an odd day I knew the guy was coming to spray my place but wasn't sure if it would really be on time.... Bills game would be on at four no movies started till like 1.... So I was going to sit out on Mothers porch and look at ads and read Paper but it wasn't there.... So now what do I do wasn't sure about going out to say Galleria and if there was a movie or just hang out if I would be back by 4PM game ..... The plan for after the paper was CasaDiPizza food and watching football there.....

So with no camera went down to Canal Side ...... I had no camera I had no idea The Peacemaker was still here ... It looked great and was really tall and I noticed something it looked and I might be wrong is taller then skyway um that might be a problem Yes you can go around it but wouldn't it be cool if you wanted to go through that way.......

It felt so odd not naked really but a strange feeling to not be able to take photos...

It was Brisk down there aka cold to me... So props to the people out in the water in kayaks ouch... I also saw people getting on Miss Buffalo and some band bet even with the cold it would be fun band and bose but still Hardy or is it hearty ?

I also saw this Really cool little girl or maybe it was the parents green dress and top with tiny green hat and like leather fighter pilot glasses yeah like steam punk or what you might call alt modeling getting her picture taken ....

I finally saw the new Hispanic Memorial that is really nice what I mean is the craftsmanship is amazing it is kinda scary in a good way ......

had to go to that tall observation deck and there is all kinds of stickers on like a water pipe interesting....

On my way out there was some kind of bike thing there where a bunch of them or is that people on them that there was a bunch of it isn't like they rode down there or like dropped their bikes off to hang out .....

Then it was off to CasaDiPizza on Elmwood didn't know how filling the loaded fries would be couldn't finish my double order with soda pop but had them after the Bills game as I enjoyed the Emmys but not the loss of my teams.....

It is hard to explain how odd the waterfront felt but still a good time....

They did spray at my place for the bugs and I have other stuff to do like vacuuming gotta figure out why it over heats and stops though......

First Of all it was nice to see and talk with (e:soma) and sorry I missed your performances lost track of time sorry but it was a great time....

I'm going to try and show everything that I saw with out showing to many don't know as that is possible but we shall see....









































































































































That Band is called Necktie Tourniquet and they where pretty good I know I've seen the one guitar player someplace else but not sure in what band .......















The lady in gold forget her name is from buffalo and was amazing .....

The Rain was crazy and changed things up but still a great time hope I posted the right about of photos ......

So The wing fest was this weekend and no idea what to do with photos and that brings up something else to argh... But If you read the Buffalo News or maybe some other sites you may have heard the uproar over Street art... And I admit the art that was on the side of hardware was great and fit with a bar and I really liked it.... hoping there is more to this art but don't think it will be better... Here we go.....

So got a little bit done before I went to Elmwood Festival of the arts.....

The Allbrights where great seen them some place before I think and the band before them what would mingus do ? is a jazz band they where pretty good also

So this morning I go to try and get some help I need it.... I haven't really posted infringement photos from closing cause family visited and as nice as it was and fun there is a but (uncles)..... My cousins have a great life with kids and wives and great kids... as Happy as I am for them it isn't easy to not be that........ Yes my life is blessed in some ways but in so many ways it isn't .... I often feel like a failure well I guess I'll for now post Firedancing photos and it was nice to see some people out there I know .....

Opps think I did something wrong and pictures are going to be duped sorry about that kinda stressed argh........
