lilho still needs a home

But what she needs more than a home is a roommate to share it with so she can have a nice apartment in e-ville instead of the ghetto. You can't believe some of the apartments we saw today. Any leads? She is looking to pay 250-300 dollars.

Two More New Features - Wiki and Dict

Dictionary Lookup
I have added new options to make in journal inks to and wikipedia. Dictionary.comis self explanatory. You click on the tag in your style box and put the word you want between the two dict tags. Then you will see the little image in your journal and when readers click on it they will lbe taken to a definition of the word if it exists [dict]exists[/dict].

Wikipedia Lookup
Wikipedia is similar and allows you to interface with one of the seven wonders of the internet.

Wikipedia ( is a copyleft encyclopedia that is collaboratively developed using wiki software. Wikipedia is managed and operated by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. In addition to standard encyclopedic knowledge, Wikipedia includes information more often associated with almanacs and gazetteers, as well as coverage of current events. ... read more (WIKIPEDIA - wikipedia)

Have fun with these. I hope it opens up new frontiers in terms of ways you can express yourself digitally. I am sure we will all learn a little something too.

New Updates

 • Flash Files now display at the original size when uploaded to your journal.
 • Adding extra inlinks will not delete what you have already written in the inlink box, even if you change pages.
 • You can turn off all media in the journals and have them replaced with links if you are on a slow connection or mobile deivce. This option can also be foudn in your preferences control panel which looks like a #.
 • In the same control panel, you can turn off start-up sounds in your preferences, although, I would suggest not doing so as I will be using them for important anouncements shortly.

New Title Color to Indicate Day

If the journal has an orange title, it means it was written today. Whenever you sleect a journal from the list you should always make sure that you check all of the orange titles. for example, I wrote about four things on the news journal today, so all three of them will have orange titles.

New features for Data Lookup Links

Today I am introducing more e-features in celebration privacy invasion. Just kidding, but it doesn throw a new twist on data mining.

If you would like to link to a buffalo or surrounding suburb street map location simply click the mapquest link in your style box and type the street address into between the map tags. You must use a full street address. For example, "230 Lexington Avenue"
. Do not add city, state or zip, or apartment number information. This is great if you are having a party and want people to know where it is or if you are going to an event or bar and want to put a map to the location. For example, last night we went to Squeaky Wheel and it would have been convenient to add a
so other people could have gone down.

 • Linnie 10/17 06:57 Hi Neighbors - I just bought a groovy renovated carriage house on Linwood Ave, and I'm so excited to live in our wonderful city! The large house in front of the carriage house burned down in the 70's. An article I found about the property cited that 'Matthew' on this site had posted a series of photos called 'Lost Linwood" (article was from 2012). I thought maybe Matthew was still on this site or perhaps someone could help me find the photos. I'd love to see the original house and carriage house
