a bit of relief

I almost have my final paper wrapped up for my one MBA Class. So soon enough I'll be able to have some free time once again on weekends. I would go nuts tomorrow night but I switched with someone at work so they could go to the Bills game on Sunday. Ironically enough my Dad tells me last night that he has 4 tickets for the Jim Kelly Club. After the game against NE I just about have lost all desire to watch NFL football. They have almost broke me.

It's right now I'm in a really "chill" place mentally. The kind of mood where I'm mentally loose and content. I was talking to my Ex last night and she added that over the last few years I may actually be the most happiest I have been. This was after she was looking over at pictures of me from years past. In some ways I have to actually agree with her.

In some ways the good relationship we have had lately scares me. It's just I know my lack of track record of getting anyone around here to be in total commitment with at a high level. The bad part is if by some stupid reason we get back together I totally know that the same B.S. will happen again and the fallout will be so much worse than before. I'm glad to have a great friendship with her, but I just have to be firm in keeping the line. I've had success in keeping things separated especially during my little escapades. The trouble would come in when I would be feeling guilty when I would be out with other people. It's so hard sometimes.

Winter's coming

After "wasting a weekend" I actually feel a bit refreshed. My body thanks me for not abusing it. I did manage to do a couple of things in regards to school. Plus my final project in my MBA class isn't going to be as bad as initially thought. Hopefully I'll polish it off tomorrow.

Although I did enjoy sleeping and doing not much of anything I just feel "that time of year" coming on. It'll be dark before 5 now with being back on standard time. I just can feel the chemicals changing in my brain in about 2 weeks from all of the darkness that we are going to be abundantly surrounded by.

There is an upside. The winter months bring the two great pastimes into play, drinking and sex. Since you have to have someone with you in your bed to keep you warm in the winter.

I came across an album cover from the guy from Deep Purple Ian Gillan. I didn't know he recorded his last release a double album here in Buffalo. It's just after looking at it reminded me of the fun times that can happen in winter and it just came over me. Yea it was the thoughts of sex and drinking but it's that building that is his "Inn" that maybe did it for me and not winter itself.

Yes, I'm really pathetic

So I haven't done anything in a while.

It's Halloween weekend and I am not going out. So Yea I sit home on my computer on a Saturday Night like a pathetic loser. I don't even have the motivation to head over to Canada and play cards.

The wind is hallowing and it just gives off the impression that it is worse than it is.

I keep telling myself that I'll snap out of this BLAH next week when I have my last MBA class for the semester.

The worse part is I have almost $400 in my pocket and I have no drive to do anything. . .

November Elections

I thought that the Dems may have had all of the momentum going into next month, but now I think things may be shifting.

The local commercials with Tom Reynolds a REPUBLICAN saving Social Security and Public Projects are just too surreal. Wasn't that the Democrats battle cry for the last 70 years?

Politics is a business and with the Dow at an all time high and the Real Estate "Bubble" not as bad as hyped out to be I just don't see people ready to take on a risk of giving back control to the Dems.

As we are seeing with the latest round of Tom Reynolds ads that are totally off base with traditional Republican platforms, it basically is going to come to him getting re-elected due to the constant pounding of stupid Ads.

Then again if that doesn't work to combat the Foley/Iraq problem you can always fall back on the "Southern Strategy"

The sad part is it appears to be working.

Garbage advertising like that is going to keep things status quo. I suppose nothing will change until we get 10% Prime Interest Rates and 20% Unemployment. Because "if you mess with da 'Dough you got to Go" is the only way we change things politically in this country.

It's only about the Benjamin's...

Still a bit blah

I ended up getting dragged out to 1 Bills Drive today to witness the drunk fest that themes around a football game. We had 50 yard line seats and I ended up bringing my friend Tom. Yea, the game was pretty much self evident. The highlight was going out to dinner @ Frank's Sunny Italy.

For the past 6 days now I have been pretty much under the weather. I am afraid that "it" is kicking in and I don't know what I can do about it other than pop my stress tabs and other fun supplements.

I had a vision today. If the Dems take back BOTH houses of Congress I'll head down to D.C. and hang out for a few months. I figure they'll need someone like myself that actuallyy remembers the last time that party had that kind of power. They will need someone that can party unlike these DumbF**k's

But I just putz around. I had the temptation to head over to Ft. Erie and play some bingo. Well actuallyy read a book while that wireless lap top like device looks after my bingo cards and tells me if I won or not type of Bingo. I just don't have the mad dabbing skills. Plus I am totally afraid I'll drift off and someone else will collect on my bingo when I actually had it first. SO I put my luck in the hands of technology. Yea, most will say I am not a true bingo player but I just don't care. I want to know if I won or not and not worry about it at all. They have those "t.e.d. machines" I might as well use them, right?

Well back to bed and hopefully I'll feel a bit better when I wake up. I think I'm feeling a massage @ the institute coming on soon.

Not much going on here

I'm just wondering on if I should go the Bills game tomorrow. Yea, they are most likely going to get blown out but in a weird way I love the NFL. Plus if I get sick of the game I can always head indoors and just hang out in the club bar and watch the other games. Club Seats are such a nice fallback item; Who wants to go to a game, watch your team get blown out and sit in the wet cold?

Since now that I found out that my work load for my one class is now much lighter that I originally though (the prof. was without power for a few days) I feel as if I have some time to spare.

The only things that is worrying me lately is I've had a mild headache since Monday.

For some reason I'm just not feeling Halloween, but I do enjoy it. It's just that I don't have the passion for some reason. Although after going out with my Ex last night WE came with my "costume" this year. Given she's pretty much come up with my last 2 but for some reason this arraignment seems to work out for me. Now I just have to go to my local Hot Topic and pick up my stuff.

Another side of the storm

After all of the storm talk I took these this morning at 0 Dark:30 this morning as I was walking into work. It seems alll of the Utility workers are staying in downtown Niagara Falls. From What I hear on the other shifts they're just gaming up a storm when they get in back from their jobs at night.

Although their work and play arraignment hasn't come without a cost. It's sad to think that people are like that in the face of a disaster. Out of those trucks pictured they had 3 GPS systems stolen out of that parking lot this week as well.

Yea, I have that effect sometimes

So I get this call this afternoon from M* telling me that I'm a "Jinx!" Why? Given that fact that she's from Kenmore I told her that I'm not a really big fan of that little village given it's a Gestapo Police State. She pretty much was always telling at me that "People that get tickets in Kenmore deserve them, and all of her 24 years living in the village she never got a ticket.

Well that changed today; A violation of going through one of those intersections without a working stoplight without treating it as a 4 way stop was what she got nailed for. She was all flustered worrying about the points on her licence. I told her that basically she's just going to burn some money and time, (paying for school, the reduced parking ticket, court costs) and burning a weekend afternoon.

I just don't know what to say. A former supervisor of mine said once, "Michael, you just have a way or bringing your women down and getting them into trouble!" There have been some instances where that statement is true, but I to say there's a correlation is a bit harsh. It could be that being around my freethinking/laid back vibe may relax their guard but I don't thinking I'm one of those evil men that make their women do something bad and laugh about it. Actually I'm pretty harmless. She was just absent minded and didn't realize that the traffic light was not functioning.

Back to Reality

Another year older :-/

Although I am one just to just hide and sleep on a B-Day last night was actually a great time. My plans were pretty casual but when ((e:carolinian)) responded to my post from "My Home and Native Land" So with my friend Bill we meet up @ the Old Casino and then headed down the lane to kill two birds with one stone. One to take ((e:carolinian))'s mind off his break up and Two to show him how I have been rollin's since I was 17. I must say that it was quite the sight to see women in attendance in a "gentle men's club." I guess with Porn going mainstream in the 90's and the "Girls Gone Wild" series as Pop Culture going to the strip club with your wife or girlfriend is not a big deal anymore. I guess I haven't been to these kind of places as much recently to see the change in attitude.

So after meeting up with my friend Deb and given our limited options on this side of the border we just sat at the bar of a crowed crapplebee's in the former prime outlets mall in Niagara Falls. My parents hit Fallsview but Gambling just didn't appeal to me today. Who wants to even entertain the possibility of losing money on your birthday?

Ok back to sleep....
