Can you believe i do not own a green pair... a pair that might be appropriate for St. Patrick's Day? Perhaps a reason to shop????

So, i decided on the orange of the Irish flag.

And, i will wear a green t-shirt. I even did a quick curl of my reddish hair so i won't stick out as the only one who did not prepare for the campus St Patty's parade at the DDSO today.

Parking Tip

Today, i found out that if you are illegally parked, but you have a couple of orange pylons, then you won't get a ticket. According to Buffalo Parking Enforcement dispatch, construction workers have "leeway" as per New York State law. So, go get yourself a big magnet with some made up construction company and a couple of pylons, and you can get rock star parking anywhere!

Day off today, so i slept in very very late (woo hoo!) and i am just now, at 5:20pm, getting shoes on to venture outside....

I decided on clear ones, with socks, for (e:Hodown). And, to answer your question. I don't wear socks with the low ones when i am wearing shorts or capri length pants, just like i wouldn't wear hightops. I think, as someone at work once said, it would look "bitarded".

As for being cold... well, i wear boots in the winter 'cause chucks would be very soggy and cold. At work, the heat doesn't get turned off until late May, so it might as well be summer in there right now. So, i have switched to summer clothes. Shorts, no socks and low tops. :o)

In a weird twist, i have a tshirt that matches these shoes almost identically. And, since my boss hates it, or likes to tease me, or has a thing with being matchy-matchy, i am wearing both these shoes and the top. It's just my gift to her....
