Book Autopsies- Artist, Brian Dettmer

Scouring fine art related forums, I found myself curious about one contemporary artist in specific, Brian Dettmer. He makes creative use of books as an artwork medium. He carves into the books creating visually intriguing images, "revealing the artwork inside, creating complex layered three-dimensional sculptures". He calls his collection of pieces, "Book Autopsies". I would very much appreciate seeing these pieces close up and anything else that he was worked on. He uses other items such as "maps, record albums, and cassette tapes -- to create new, transformed works of visual fine art."
