media suggestions?

(e:Dianne)'s shoulder surgery is Monday and she's gonna be recovering in a recliner in my living room for a bit. she's got Netflix, hulu plus and probably access to Amazon videos. what suggestions for movies do you have? She's never seen Princess Bride!

beautiful weekend

(e:Dianne) had an extremely stressful week so this weekend we concentrated on just being in the moment together. After the Harbor Thursday night, we played Carcassonne, Friday night we had a feast on the backyard, Saturday we saw The Heat, biked around the neighborhood, used one of (e:Terry)'s groupons at kaydara (outstanding meal. We didn't have our phones with us, so no pix), gaming & drinking with (e:puddlediving), her new woman, and (e:bluevelvetjack). Then today we had a lovely morning at the reopened Cafe Taza, a ride to MLK park, and a trip to Shakespeare in the Park. bright sunny days and languid nights... I love summer in buffalo.

Wedding pix... technical difficulties

I'm having trouble transferring photos from my phone to edit them. I don't think the G+ auto loader gets every single pic sometimes. It's a pain to download from there, edit in picassa and then send elsewhere. I tried just USB on this cranky old Vista laptop but the laptop refused to acknowledge the device. boo. So, (e:xandra), you'll have to wait a little longer.

wedding prep

I got rocks for decorations today. after the boys git engaged, I pressured (e:terry) to get a proper haircut for the wedding. I swear I didn't pressure (e:paul) at all! also got beautiful Denise a haircut and mani :-)
