the blahs...

why is it when you return home from vaca, you sometimes get the blahs...
"blah"
I don't want to do much of anything. go figure, it's the lazy procrastinator in me.

I don't want to hang out tonight. instead I actually fried food(in the oven. though it seems like that may be a fire hazard!) and gorged. this is a necessary sometimes. esp when you are too poor to aford the golden arches!

I have to catch a flight mid-day tomorrow to Atlanta to celebrate my Grand Papa's 70th Birthday! That I am excited about, but at the same time I am removed from the excitement.

Gosh, I love and miss New York!!! Nice to hang out in my old hood.

where it all begins...

got up pretty early today to see Star Wars @ 10AM. Good Film. I think that adds up to the second movie I saw in a theater this year. mmmm.... The Dark Side!!!!

Can't wait for Batman Begins to come out...

cats suck. Went to a yard sale & they had cats; Allergies have been out of control since...

I miss the guys already :( I am glad they got to stop by and have some beers! :)

I will post pics once they are resized.

random thought...

there should be a "Love your blog Day"
listing all the reasons you blog and the good it provides you (or bad if you prefer love that way...)

Apparently today for me is love anything inanimate day...

Shoes, Various other Nonsensical items, & "Sebastian"
(other people daydream about success, love, etc...I daydream about shoes!)
((there should be a short film regarding this feat. on IFC or Sundance))

Anyway:
So why not love the blog too? No need to exclude it. Love your thoughts, your rants, your raves, your ideas, your memories, your arguments with other epeeps, etc...

now i must, sink into this chair and mellow out w.bjork.

weather faux pas...

Where's (e:pageseven) when you need it!!!
70-80 degree temps prompt people to wear white pants and sandals. Egads!
As tempting as it is... I cannot. So, (e:pageseven), I am requesting a posting on the fashion etiquette's of the 21st century to set all straight! Perhaps you may yield the other way, I don't know if there are southern or northern influences or none at all...

wegmans...

wowey wow! Wegmans here is huge! I wish I took my camera. There are three levels;
A Wine Store, The Cafe, & The Market. There is underground parking in addition to the large lot out front. There are elevators for you and your carts and a nice little price tag for food to pay for it all...

125,000 square feet, with mezzanine-level seating for more than 200 in the Market Café

600 employees

750 parking spaces

What did almost make a tear fall, was when I saw the Bison's Dip that is decorated to show off the spirit of Buffalo and the Bills. Bison Dip, The official dip of the Bills!!! "How cute"

shock-not so much

there it goes... my one day of rest & cleaning! I have been on the go ever since Saturday. phone rings: friend says "I am at the airport" - Complete Surprise!!!
My Laundry List of things to do:
Disinfect/Clean kitchen of dust and paint - dishwasher is installed.
Vacum remaining saw dust inside/outside apt.
replace kitchen items to original home (they have taken up residency in the living room)
do laundry (need hot outfits for next two days-got gatherings to attend)
clean bathroom once again this week - shared facilities with the handy man
we won't start on the bedroom...
However, these things are now on hold as I shuffle to see surprise guest.
I really must sleep tonight.
